41.38% for April, up from 39.1% in March.
Great to see continued utility for Litecoin, beating bitcoin since December 2023 as the most used Cryptocurrency for payments on Bitpay.
Is it possible to mine Litecoin quite efficiently with Raspberry pi, let's say at least on Raspberry models 3 and 4?
Is there any Litecoin mining software to install on Raspberry pi?
I got hacked with 4800 others with a garbage hot wallet called ATOMIC WALLET.Basically on June 1 2023 North Korea’s hacking team infiltrated Atomics servers and extract 100+ Million in crypto in 15 minutes. I lost 394 LTC and almost a year later I finally am back to 397.
I've been looking for somewhere to buy Litecoin without an ID, SSN, or any IP check through website or Gmail. Looking for websites, no apps for download or wallet extensions. Links are appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Electrum-ltc can't detect the hardware wallet.
Anyone know a way to fix this or is it just not compatible?
Hey Litecoin community,
We're excited to share insights from our April payment gateway stats:
- Litecoin remains the third preferred crypto payment method.
- Litecoin use increased from 11.7% to 12.5% compared to March, showcasing its growing use as a payment method.
What are your predictions for Litecoin's performance in May? Do you think this upward trend will continue?
I have used Litewallet for years, since it was Loafwallet. Sadly I have had to delete it and will not be using it again.
When setting up an old seed on a new install in iOS, the app crashes every time the blockchain finishes syncing. 3 separate iPhones, and 2 iPads later I contact support who are of no help.
Looking at the App Store the developers say this is now fixed. Downloaded on a friends iPhone yesterday with a fresh install and a fresh seed with exactly the same issue.
Now I see that Litewallet has a 1.3% fee for sending transactions! Cost me £0.83/$1.04 to send 1LTC. Joke. This is not a transaction fee, it goes to the developers.
Real shame as I was all for supporting the official mobile wallet and have donated to development funds in the past.
How do I access my Litewallet master key? Thanks
I know you're all starting to feel the heaviness in the air, something is brewing. Talk continues to rise. Blue chip media outlets starting to comment on rumors of ETF happening. This, this is the calm before the absolute face-melting rally.
God candle loading my friends!
Litecoin founder Charlie Lee predicts an ETF approval soon, citing LTC's similarities to Bitcoin and potential as a recognized commodity. This is the news LTC bulls have been waiting for!
Saw Robinhood latest LTC post about possible Litecoin ETF. Googled it and we're seeing an increase in LTC news stories regarding bullish on ETF.
Let's recap.
Litecoin is #1 for payments (bitpay) and Uptime. It is the crypto currency for use as an actual currency.
CFTC recently named only BTC, LTC, and ETH as higher class commodity cryptos. Paving the possibility for SEC review.
Litecoin is the 1st alt and second crypto to come out with similar technology as Bitcoin. It's four times faster and cost pennies on the dollars to use.
Founder Charlie Lee exited Litecoin in 2017 to allow Litecoin to be without influence as he continues to work on and grow the project.
I don't care if people Liquidate the storage of wealth crypto called Bitcoin. Litecoin future seems very bright to me.

I am very new to the crypto scene. Ive got a little bit in litecoin (0.5) in a wallet called exodus. I want to know, when you use exodus, does it creat you an real 100% own litecoin wallet or does it use like one of the companys wallets or something? Sorry if its a dumb question.
Hi, I'm trying to discretely buy something online. The cost is the equivalent of $25 USD but unfortunately, for whatever reason, only Litecoin is listed as an option. I have no experience with cryptocurrencies and most sites I've visited seem shady and it's hard to tell if they're reputable.
How do I convert USD (Visa gift card, if it's relevant) to Litecoin? Additional info: I live in New York and I'm given to understand that some sites don't operate here.
Back in 2020-2021 I made so much money off just a few Litecoin. Since then, there has been significant adoption and overall acceptance as a medium of exchange. Confirmed by reigning #1 in payments.
This cycle has taken a while but as important metrics increase, the price will undoubtedly catch on to, at the very least, a fair value near ATH.
Stay patient, don't be shaken out. Our time is nearer than you can imagine. Getting a position sub $100 is gonna look genius in the next 2-3 months...ETF or not.
Arise Chikun, arise~
I am super bullish on Litecoin. It’s a faster cheaper bitcoin. What’s not to love?
Now with MWEB we have a privacy feature too.
Litecoin can’t be stopped. I’m buying some up every week.
So, I am trying to send my Litecoin to an address on the Litewallet android app. However, every time I try to send LTC it tells me to sync my wallet and whenever I start the process it begins from the year 2016 and takes approximately 45 minutes to 2 hours which I have done countless of times and still cannot do it. Also happens when I re-launch the app. This is pretty frustrating and I need to find a workaround asap.
hi,
i am interested in crypto currencies which could be used as peer to peer (decentralized) digital cash, in case physical (fiat) cash becomes forbidden or too restricted, or in case virtual (fiat) cash becomes too restricted, and as an alternative to fiat currency anyway.
i am interested in litecoin, bitcoin cash, monero, and i have experimented with these networks / wallets / tokens.
to my surprise, the 'litewallet' is not compatible (can't be installed) on several smartphones on which i have tested to install it. ( i mean can't be installed via google store )
not the best approach for more adoption, especially when i want to demonstrate to a friend, how to use a wallet and how to receive / store / send some ltc funds.
what do you think might be the problem ?
recently the 2 smartphones which can't install the wallet app, have these OS :
android 9.0
android 11.0
i guess that i could try to install the 'litewallet', using an apk, but it is not very practical for new users...
any suggestions ?
thanks,
So i'm not big into Crypto but have found LTC to be handy in the past.
I have a coinomi wallet and that used to let me buy vouchers for Amazon and others through Bidali, but for reasons unknown to me, they are not accepting LTC now.
I could have converted it to BTC but the Coinomi exchange will only allow the transaction for more or less double what i have at present.
Have never converted LTC to Fiat, wouldn't know where to start and for the amount i hold, not really worth it.
So i've seen the usual comments "hold it for 10x in years to come" or "buy more".
Sure, could do those things but my investments are mainly in physical gold and some more boring/safer things.
So i'm just wondering what people think - is there a practical use for this? A legit source i can trust for gift cards (UK based) or is it just worth forgetting and holding?
Done some google searches but if i'm honest, its hard to know if a site is legit or going to be a pain just to redeem a small amount of crypto into something practical.
If i should hold it, is the coinomi wallet a good idea or is there some other place i should store it?
Thanks for any comments!
Hi! So I'm a newbie to crypto and LTC in general, but I needed to use LTC to pay for something, so I just used the official litewallet
app as I just needed a soft/hot wallet for very small amounts (less than 10 USD) to sit in temporarily. I'll continue to need to use LTC for very small amounts in the future.
After doing my research, I've found out that my address created by the app uses the P2PKH format, which was before the segwit soft-fork (among other less-important soft-forks) and is considered 'legacy'.
One source indicated that this means slower confirm times and potentially higher fees. Is this true?
If so, is it worth switching over? Which soft/hot wallet should I switch to for my needs? (hardware is def way too overkill for what I need)
My friend sent me 40USD of lite coin (0.4605) and I can cash out for about 30£. Is it worth keeping for investment or should I just sell
Just to add I don’t exactly need the money
I find myself refreshing the price a disturbing amount of times throughout the work day and even in my free time. I’m in it for the relative long term, and would not sell if it were to shoot 50% in either direction…any tips on keeping your eyes off of price?
