Going to my first Leeds game on Dec. 7 vs Derby

Hi all,

I live in Zurich and I'm coming to the game vs Derby on December 7. I got the Centenary Pavilion East Stand Hospitality Tickets. I have a few questions, as I've never been to Elland Road before.

Am I allowed to bring my backpack/camera with me? The San Siro allowed it, but Anfield didn't.

As far as the hospitality goes, how long before the game should I arrive to get the full benefits?

Is the shop open before the game? I'd like to buy a scarf.

What's the best way to come to the game? Train? Bus? Drive?

I'm coming with my friend from Derby (he's unfortunately one of their supporters, but he's sitting in the away end, don't worry), how is navigating the stadium before/after the game so we can meet up?

Super excited to go to Elland Road!!

Third round draw day... Who do you want in the cup?

We need to focus on the League, but I could genuinely see us doing Scum at Home... Although we will probably get Plymouth or QPR Away.

Who would you like to face?

Who do you think we will get?

Retro scarf

I was wondering if anybody knows where I can find one of these scarves? Pretty sure it’s vintage, it has sentimental value to a friend and i’m hoping to be able to find one for a surprise. No luck so far on my own, but i’m hopeful with expert help it can be found. Cheers!

Post match statistics vs Blackburn:

Is this getting incredibly frustrating for anyone else? This complete reliance on this possession football is just starting to get really boring and predictable, the results that follow even more so.

We sacrifice counter attacks and fast breaks (something we are very good at) to play this low risk recycle and restart football. If we took more risks, lowering our possession, it would allow us to use our greatest asset more efficiently.

What do you think?

How much should I expect match dates to change?

Hi, I'm planning on visiting Leeds and watching a match. I've already bought tickets and I'm planning on staying a bit longer (about 7-8 days), but the main point of the trip is to watch Leeds at Elland Road.

I'm new to this and I'm unsure about match dates. As far as I've understood it we will know the exact matchdate for sure about 6-7 weeks before the match, however I need to inform work about it way before that + I would like to buy plane and hotel way before that.

I've got tickets for april 21st which is on a monday. How would you recommend that I plan my trip so that I'm absolutely sure that I will not miss the match?

What Should Farke Do Differently?

We've lost a few 1-0 games that look the same: stodgy, opponent retreating to a low block but after a decently intense press against Mes and our CBs when we are trying to play out from the back, often our attacking play running almost exclusively through our wings, and finally our defense looks easily opened up a few times per game (which really may not be that big a deal given how good the defense is otherwise).

Against Luton it looked like our wings inverted more w. DJ and Solomon trying to get in behind (so still attacking from the touch line and not through the middle).

Anyway what does the subreddit brain trust think Farke should do differently?

My 2 cents: Mateo Joseph isn't it and Piroe is mostly a passenger, so we should be starting Pat. I realize Pat is not beloved by this sub but remember last season our best run occurred when he was leading the line, so we have evidence that he makes us play better *as a team* even if his individual goal contributions are not what we need them to be.

Not looking for a fight with folks - really just interested in reasoned arguments for alternatives.

LUTV audio commentary live

Does having a MyLeeds membership give you live audio commentary to matches?

I remember it working in previous years but the 2 times I’ve tried it this season I’ve had no luck.

Is it possible to transfer a season ticket to another family member mid season?

I wonder if anyone can answer this query..a young adult season ticket holder in the family stand would like to transfer their ticket to their younger sibling who is a member. Does anyone know if this is possible please?

Team - Season so Far

The team has been dominant in most games this season with the only real negative that we probably haven't scored more to reflect this dominance. When teams come at us we tend to score more but also concede more obviously. The one choice I don't understand is Aaronson, apart for looking very eager (overly for the impact he actually makes) I think it's a fairly pointless selection. Yes a few goals early on but I never truly believe anything will happen when he gets the ball except for him to come under immediate pressure and either a hastey pass or falling looking for a foul. Unfortunately we don't have a 10 type to replace him but if promoted and he is on the pitch I can't see much joy.

Random Swansea stats

We conceded nine goals against Swansea, Midlesbrough and Portsmouth, and then just six in 14 games in-between.

Swansea’s 1.57 was our second highest xG conceded, after Sunderland (1.82). That's the same xG Sheffield United, Millwall, Bristol City, Cardiff, QPR, and Plymouth managed combined.

2.63 xG created by us was our third highest this season, after Portsmouth (3.39) and ten men Cardiff (2.94).

+1.37 (four goals from 2.63 xG) was our biggest xG overperformance of the season.

Swansea's +1.43 (three goals from 1.57xG) was the second highest overperformance after Porsmouth (+2.06). (Portsmouth had just a single 0.02 xG shot that they DIDN'T score from).

4.20 was also the 2^(nd) highest total game xG since Portsmouth (4.33).

43 % possession was the second lowest this season after WBA (40 %). The only other time we’ve been out-possessed was Coventry (48 %).

Will Gnonto was benched, so Meslier, Rodon and Struijk are now the only players to have started every game.

Max Wöber and James Debayo were the 25^(th) and 26^(th) players used in the league this season. With that, every outfield player who’s been on the bench at any point has also made it onto the pitch,

Evan Ferguson on loan?

Saw Brighton are putting him up for loan in January. Do you think he would be a good solution to our striking problem/attainable in any way/better than our current options?

Had a weird thought over my Weetabix this morning. The last time Liverpool won the premier league. We went up too.

Conclusion, stop eating Weetabix and thinking so early in the day.
