Come on guys let’s be honest… The Lakers probably 75% will not make a Roster move.. why?
who is going to replace DLO? That we can afford, that can do what he does. EXCELLENT passer. Finding his grove in initiating the offense. Also, how fast did we forget that he broke the Lakers 3 point record just a year ago.? He is now fine with coming off the bench. No fussing. He is literally starting to grow in his position.
Replacing DLO with Valencunes is DUMB. V is a CONE on defense it makes no sense. Colin Sexton is not 6’5 and DLO is only a bad on ball defender. DLO off ball is really great.(I bet you can’t see that) passing lanes. Great hands. Colin is under sized. He not a better defender than Gabe either. Hayes and Koloko can both get minutes and alleviate pressure off of AD position.
There are no 3&D wings we can afford fr. Instead the Lakers should RAISE CAM and MAX to that level. It’s an 82 games season when you want a tree to grow you need stability, experience(water) and attention (sunlight). Cam is finally finding a space for himself in the NBA why mess that up? Gabe is still a dog who just got off an injury literal surgery. Why can’t players struggle?
Lakers have NO DRAFT CAPITAL. And no one does good business with the Lakers not named Washington. Not until Lebron retires.
Like be for real lol.
I believe the 80% of the recent defensive revival can be attributed Lebron actually trying on defense. The other 20% is Cam Reddish, Max Christie, and Gabe playing well and getting more minutes than Knecht. Once Lebron reverts to coasting on defense again I believe the defense will fall again. Granted it will not as bad as it was when Knecht was starting at SG but still. I think the team still needs some trades.
The Lakers season is here! Talk about whatever you want.
I love AD I have his jersey but god Damn . At some point it’s no longer variance , but Davis since 2020 season where he was automatic from the line is so SHAKY at the line and in general mskes so many questionable decisions. It’s weird cos there’s data before that AD is one of the best ckutch two way impsct players but wtf has happened he looks so shaky I don’t think it’s a coincidence anymore.
That magic loss still stings , reaves 0/2 n David 1/4, or we’d be 17-11. Not even saying if we won the hawks ot loss cos whatever can’t win them all. Magic loss was insane to me.
Also reaves was 90% ft shooter n dropped off, Davis was 85-80% n similar. Why can’t we just make free throws . I shouldn’t be trusting Lebron at the ft line more then davis late in the fourth.
Is it just variance? I think the sample size is growing
Found this in Pechanga Resort & Casino 😄
Crazy how often his name gets thrown around in trade talks when Reddick is leaning on him more than any coach he has had since he got to the NBA.
Still have a long way to go, but love the direction we’re headed. 💜💛
I live in Sac but I'm an L.A. native and lifetime Lakers fan. This is how 'the beam' should be.
Since when did lebron become French 🇫🇷
We had a 10pt lead with 2 minutes to go.
LeBron HAS to stop the fucking "waste shot clock, stand around doing nothing, then take a contested three".
What the fuck was the defense at the end? Letting Fox into a wide open three, and AD couldn't even run to contest? Miscommunication TO A SIMPLE SCREEN at this time of the game is so stupid.
Free throws. How the fuck are the Lakers still this bad from the FT line. Didn't that Magic game teach the Lakers any lessons? Not even the clutch ones.
Sorry to be a party pooper, and I am hyped for Rui but I was just tearing my hair out from the decisions made in clutch time.
Ageless James is ageless again. Gabe is contributing in good doses. JJ on a great path to Coach of the Year. Christie is surprisinly good in the first unit. Reaves is resuming his progress to his first All Star berth. Imho, this is the best Lakers configuration this year. Great job in the Capital guys!
