This is Governor Rebound with a super cool announcement. Due to this post on the main sub, and due to /u/jwriddle bringing it to my attention, and due to /u/RockdaleRooster messaging me on steam, I decided to fix this place up a bit. Since I know pretty much nothing about CSS, I piggy backed off what was here, and what I could copy and paste in from the main sub, and some CSS help subs. Good thing I'm a fucking wizard when it comes to Gimp, so now we have the sidebar location, flag and motto. As well as that amazing waving Kyanitian Flag in the background. Doesn't it look cool? Such Wow

There's some things I want to address the public on. I'm going to message the citizens and see if they are still interested in participating in Chroma, and providing them a link to sign up for the battle reminders.

BUUUUTT

There won't be any battles soon because Peri's won season two! Hang up the streamers lads! So if you would like to become active, I would suggest the idea of getting involved in help setting up season 3! Contribute your ideas on both the main sub, /r/periwinkle and the /r/councilofkarma subreddit.

Next, time for some voting. /u/jwriddle was a bit confused why their was diamonds on the flag. Although that symbol is commonly thought of to be diamonds, kyanite, as well as other gems, can be transformed into similar structures. But that made me question the clarity of our flag. I honestly made the motto on the spot, but it fits pretty well.

So I'm wondering if we should stick with the current flag we have, or design a new one. I want the community to decided, rather than just me and some other governors. I also think that we should vote on a motto.

Now, to keep in mind when suggesting new mottos or flag ideas, Kyanite Cove has both english and french influences. So mottos and designs of flags can include french and/or english terms. (as long as they're appropriate.)

I am also open to other ideas on what need to be improved around here. If you have a suggestion, lay it on me!

I am your newist immigrant to the cove. Since the recruitment thread is at the 6 month mark, here is the requested information...

• I chose this place because seems to be quiet, small, ultimately cool community...
• I am/will be a Hermit/Guide
• I will be hunting/fishing/gathering raw materials and secretly build my fortress in the wilderness sorta like Atrus built stuff in Myst :D
• I plan for some way of making Kyanite Cove to become the main exporter of Pykrete...

Thought it would be great to reboot the citizenship thread! So here it goes!

Hello fellow Peri's! Welcome to Kyanite Cove! Kyanite Cove is a wonderful place to live, as long as you're good with cold weather. Kyanite Cove is one of the Periwinkle Kingdoms Northern-most territory. Our ability to survive these cold conditions has been important in our lasting war against the Orangered menace.

Now, reply to this thread in a comment to become a resident of Kyanite Cove. Be sure to answer the following questions:

Hey folks, /u/l2el3ound here!

So recently we have been trying to rekindle the community and build it up and have each territory have a different aspect to each other. Well today I am please to announce that Kyanite Cove is now the artsy territory!

What does this mean?

Well pretty much it means that this subreddit will be geared towards peoples artistic ability within out community. Post anything dealing with art! Weather it be a project you're working on or a photo of a cool piece!

Do I have to be artistic to be a Citizen of Kyanite Cove?

Of course not! All this means is that there will be more content brought to the subreddit!

I for sure will start posting some of my WIPs for my classes as well as some of my photography!

I volunteer my services (hopefully along wiith /u/myductape , our other CSS guru)
