Let's talk Japanese music. The goal is to be as far-reaching as possible, so that we can all share in our knowledge of the best music that Japan has to offer. Maybe you're a fan of classic rock? Or hip-hop? Contemporary pop? Traditional music? Noise and other experiments? You name it: we're interested.

I absolutely fell in love with their last two albums. If someone has a recommendation on bands similar to MHIB, it would be quite helpful.
Thanks in advance and love you all <3.
Jrock, 2024
I don't know that name of the song but I'm pretty sure it's in Japanese.I know the song is used on tiktok specifically edits. Its an older sounding song with a man as the lead vocals,it's also a romance song i think.I can't remember the tune and I don't know what else to do.Im pretty sure the course starts with something along the lines of "Sadidade" I probably said that wrong please forgive me but that's the only I can remember from it.Thank you♡!
I am looking for self-encouraging songs to listen to when I am feeling down...
I am thinking of something like Back Number's Suiheisen or Mrs Green Apple's Que Sera Sera...
The deeper the lyrics, the better.
Even songs about acceptance of the inevitable like Kawa no Nagare no Youni work well...
Also... songs about kindness/being kind to others would be nice.
NO LOVE SONGS... Any genre is fine.
Thank you!
Never miss a song youtube recommends you on your feed.
I literally cried to this song and her other song, our failure ぼくたちの失敗. I almost never cry when listening to songs..
I am hooked with Doji Morita’s voice and I listen to almost all of her songs today on loop. I am also sad she had passed away already..

I’ve been really obsessed with the ending song from the movie Midori (1992): https://youtu.be/lM5ZlDjl1qE?feature=shared
I’ve tried looking for similar songs with no success so far. If you’ve any suggestions, I would really appreciate them!
title basically says it all. currently obsessed with it and want more like it
Can anyone help me identify the song in this short? https://www.youtube.com/shorts/-k37jHsoNpA
I've asked my phone to identify it, no luck. I tried typing in the lyrics at the end into Google and no luck there either. I was hoping the sound tag at the bottom would lead me directly to the song but I tried searching "Ray of Light" and it just led me to Fullmetal Alchemist..
