New Member Here!

When I went back to Japan in November, I finally got to see their amazing live performance on 11/18 at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo. I was so excited when they played my favorite song, “Shide mushi”!

Getting concert tickets in Japan?

Hi All. I am landing in Tokyo October 31st. Ningen Isu are playing in Nagoya on the 5th of November. I've actually already booked the train and a hotel for the 4th-6th. Has anyone here been to or live in Japan and managed to get tickets for a show as a foreigner? How did you do it? Info I have already gleaned from the internet is that you cannot buy tickets online without a Japanese credit card or domestic address.

You can buy tickets from Vending machines at Family Mart, although I've also heard that might be just to receive the tickets you've already purchased using an in app barcode.

Some people use a proxy buyer they meet online (this seems like a crapshoot)

If you can buy concert tickets at Family Mart vending machines, can you buy tickets for shows in other parts of Japan or do you need to be in the city where the show is? I’ll be checking when I get into Tokyo and again when I get to Nagoya.

Hopefully someone can help. Thanks.

Gorgoda Hill, Wajima's lost song?

cant stop thinking abt this song, it was posted in a Ningen Isu fangroup on Facebook a year ago with the caption "Wjima san tried something else (Gorgoda Hill band). Beautiful solo."

here is the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRtnfJdEPzg

i cant find any info on this song ANYWHERE. I NEED INFO. i need more of Wajima killing it in the biker outfit with the classic cherry red SG... if anyone knows ANYTHING about this, say so!!

a good place to start may be finding out who the singer is?

Totally serious List

There is no D because Ningen Isu doesn't have D rank albums, only albums that I like less than the ones I love. There are no bad albums to be found.

Pre-2003 albums???

So, I came across Ningen Isu on Spotify, I was streaming Piece of Mind and when it was over Spotify just took over and did its random songs thing. A Ningen Isu song came on and I instantly fell in love. Been digging through their discography on Spotify and it's missing everything pre-2003. I can't seem to find a place to listen to to pre-2003 stuff. Help? I need more Ningen Isu!!! 🤘

Official English Translation for Injuu (Beast In The Shadows)

I had responded to a post a couple months ago saying I was going to post these. Unfortunately, I got busy and forgot several times. So now I'm here to post them today lol

Injuu (Beast In The Shadows)

"Jingle jungle party under the trees Merrily hand clapping, feet tapping Flute at the dwarves' party produces The tone of tears and blood of the virginity lost

Summon up the blind beast Going mad in the heretic rites Beast in the Shadows

A lunatic woman aborted a baby She laughed aloud and became pregnant again With a rusty sickle she cut off the umbilical cord Shudder at noon, strong smell of grass

(Refrain)

Bored of sleeping deeply for ages Now the beast who found a home in his corpse Made the would-be poet who forgot about Gods Call them countless monsters matching in the night

From the warped part of the universe From the stale air of the graveyard He shouts out taboos and devours fools What a horrible monster he is! His underworld shrine has stood the test of eternal time We'd better not touch the odd looking statues

(Refrain)

A lot of evil spirits come creeping And squirming out of the attic Forbidden books unveiled Nighthawks chuckle at the disgusting smell

(Refrain)"

Recommended Albums for a Prog-Rock/Pink Floyd lover?

Hi!

I'm gradually starting to familiarize myself with this amazing band. There's a lot of their discography to go through, but I want to start listening to some of it with my father. He's a big fan of any rock or metal in the style of prog and in the vein of Pink Floyd (any era), and strong concept albums in particular (such as The Wall). What would be a good album for us to check out together? Imomushi (The Caterpillar) is a great example of what I'm looking for in style, from what I've heard so far, but don't narrow it down too much, just because of that.

Or would it be best to just grab one of the compilation albums, to get a bit of everything?

Thank you in advance!
