For simple questions that have simple answers (for example, how to get an A+ on a certain level, or a particular achievement), please take the time to utilise the search function in the subreddit, or check the wiki. Chances are it has already been answered multiple times, and asking it again is not only a waste of people's time, but it clogs up the subreddit.
Let's Plays with interesting content (record-breaking speedruns, unique playstyles, or Iron Man runs, for example) are now allowed. For playthroughs of custom levels, please post them in the comment section of the original level, and notify the creator of the map. Please do not post a first time playthrough, as it will not only likely not be too well-received, but also clog up the subreddit. This isn't YouTube, and we're not responsible for boosting your view count. Posts simply displaying a full combo are not allowed, as well.
Live in Australia? Pirate the game. There is no other valid answer to this question. Do not give money to any third-party website for a key, the developers will not receive any money for their work and you will very likely be scammed. Do not provide anyone your documents to prove that you are Australian, this is a myth that comes from a misunderstanding regarding how to get Jacket as a playable character in PAYDAY 2 and giving people access to your documents is how identity theft happens. Just pirate the game.

“Jackets” jacket
Probably a stupid question to ask but why is Jacket depicted wearing a brown baseball jacket with tanned sleeves?
In the game it’s yellow with white sleeves.
I’m assuming it was due to Payday but I’m genuinely not sure,still baffles me because I prefer the yellow and white.

Trying to get all achievements
Do most people get the “genocide” (kill 50000 enemies) as they work on “1-800-GODDAMN” (all normal difficulty on A+ ) or Will i need more kill grinding after Im get the other trophy, it just isnt showing my progress and Im not sure if Im far from getting it or not

How do you play locked games on ps5??
I got hotline miami 2, on the ps plus monthly games thing and i still have it downloaded and everything, but when i go to play it, the game starts up for like 2 seconds and then kicks me out and when i hover over the game theres like a small padlock next to the name, its not showing up on my game library either so im scared if i delete it i want be able to redownload it. does anyone know how to bypass this.

Had a few ideas for a Hotline Miami analog horror series
I love a lot of analog horror projects that have come out over the years on youtube, and i feel that the hotline miami universe or atleast some aspects of it would fit really well into that sort of media format, i've been planning to undertake this project myself (i do know how to edit and use vfx) and i've made some notes on how i'd go about and potray certain things. The help i'd really want is for the writing and building a well structured narrative, so if any of you have a knack for that, also love analog horror, and have a deep understanding of the hotline miami universe and it's many interpretations feel free to DM me and we can discuss working together perhaps, or if you just wanna tackle the idea yourself, i can't stop you obviously.

wierd problem?
so today i booted up hotline miami 2, as usual. the game opened fine, nothing strange. but, upon encountering the main menu, my wasd keys werent working, neither in a level. eventually, i discovered that i had to hold ctrl on my keyboard, and they would work fine. i done wanna have to hold ctrl, so whats going on?
EDIT: i restarted my computer and it fixed it, idk what happened

Will i miss out on things using tony? HM1
Ive seen on tier lists that tony is one of the best masks in the game and it feels much easier to just hit everyone without weapons when equipping tony. now im unsure if tony is strong enough to make the game significantly easier and to make someone miss out on some things if you can just hit everyone with ur fists.
