I finished watching Chikai no Finale and I really enjoyed it - 10/10.
But hell.., while Kumiko's first year took two seasons, second year they managed to cram into one movie that is less than two hours long.. 😭😭
I love this anime so much that I wish it never ended, and here they literally took away a few seasons of Kumiko's second year and gave me a 100 minute movie instead, KyoAni why... ;(
Looks like I'm going to start reading the novel, the second high school year takes place in the 8 and 9 volumes, ye (響け!波乱の第二楽章)?
My Blu-Ray of the new release arrived today (unfortunately the shipping was delayed, so I didn't get it sooner). I'm only six episodes in so far, but I think the dub has been quite faithful. If I recall correctly, Kumiko has the same voice actress as she did in the dub of the 2019 movie. If nothing else, I think Erica Mendez perfectly captures Kumiko's character!
This dub is especially great for me, because I'm constantly multi-tasking; doing work, playing a game, or something else. I always like having a show on my second monitor. Sound! Euphonium, being one of my favorites, I was always troubled that I couldn't watch it while doing something else, because I had to be focusing on the subtitles constantly. But now, I can enjoy it more while doing other things at the same time!
I hope we soon see a dub for season 2 (and season 3)!
Mine are: Inchon - Robert W. Smith (I really love the middle part of the song)
October - Eric Whitecare
All the Pretty Little Horses - Andrew Boysen (I love the Euphonium and trumpet duet)
Beyond the Horizon - Rossano Galante
At sunrise - Rob Romyen
Songs of Sailor and Sea - Robert W. Smith (The oboe solo is my favorite part)
Afterlife - Rossano Galante
I can’t for the life of me find a list of the voices actors of the Season 1 Dub.
After the S2 and the movie Todoketai Melody I started watching Liz to Aoi Tori.
The S2 ended in the winter before the next school year started. But Liz to Aoi Tori started in the summer, after the start of the next school year.
Where is Kumiko's transition into 2nd high school year? Where's the kohai welcome ceremony?
I want to watch in chronological order, should I keep going or did I miss something?
S2E4 - climactic moment between Nozomi and Mizore, they kinda understand each other and work things out - okay.
Next episode - Nozomi has already gone with the club to the regional competition (even though she's not participating). I assume she joined the club?
Later on Nozomi also shows up at club events, so I conclude that after episode 4 she joint.
But where is the scene where Asuka gives her approval, I kinda want to see it. Or did I miss something?
Please, no spoilers after season 2
