Small introduction

Hi, community of GoG! I hope you are having a great day. Since Steam is in its Autumn Sale and I'm taking my last two final exams of the year, I wanted to start playing a new game. I chose The Binding of Isaac because I love roguelike games and a friend told me that it was amazing. I've seen many users requesting bundles so I hope there's no problem with that.

What is The Binding of Isaac?

Well, The Binding of Isaac is an amazing roguelike with a strange, explicit artstyle and a wide range of possibilities in each run, in which a child called Isaac is escaping his mother who wants to sacrifice him to show her devotion to her religion. In order to escape, he ventures into the basement of his house and thus, the game begins.

Why this game? Why the Complete Bundle? Strenghtening the bond with my friend

Well, I wanted to get this game because I consider it to be kind of a classic and I really like roguelikes. I remember staying at my cousin's house some summers and, him being older than me, watching him play from time to time. I never asked him to play since videogames were his special place and something he liked to do alone, so I got enough by just checking in on him from time to time to see how his run was going. To be honest, playing games such as Skylanders or Terraria with him might be what really got me into gaming, even if I see it mostly as a social hobby.

As for why the Complete Bundle, it is because a friend of minetold me to get it since it has Repetance, which is the multiplayer mode DLC. He was the first one I talked to when I entered college two years ago, the one who didn't mind waiting with me until more people showed up because I was nervous and didn't want to be alone. I play some games with him such as Dead by Daylight and talked to him about Hades and Hollow Knight, both games I love (as does he), but I want to play a roguelike with him since we both enjoy them so much. I'd love to play with him to share more moments together, as we grew closer with time bonding over videogames and Pokémon.

Why can't I afford to buy it myself?

Well, I can't buy the game myself because USD is extremely expensive in Argentina, from where I am. To give you an idea, what is USD$33.62 for you is, in my currency $55,780.15. So yeah, pretty expensive. I sometimes take a few students from first year in my college and teach them English Grammar, the hardest subject of first year, but the pay is quite low since I teach them with another friend of mine and we decided not to charge too much since we're still students and not teachers.

Also, I wouldn't dare asking my parents for the bundle. They already work a lot every day to give me the life we deserve and I'm extremely thankful for that, so I don't want to charge them with something that, no matter how much I love it, won't be of true use.

I hope you're all doing great! Today I'm here to humbly request Red Dead Redemption.

What is Red Dead Redemption?

The easiest way to tell you what Red Dead Redemption is would be: it is GTA with horses. Although I don't feel like that's entirely since I don't really like GTA but I love Red Dead Redemption. It is an open world game that follows the protagonist John Marston (which is now a former outlaw due to the events in RDR2), forced by federal agents to hunt down his old gang members with the purpose of saving his family. Plot-wise, I don't know much more than that since I really don't want to get spoiled on this masterpiece. I got spoiled on Red Dead Redemption 2 but I enjoyed it so much nonetheless but I figured it would be awesome to go in blind. Just like the second game it is still set in the Old West theme, it has iconic characters, moments and a REALLY great story which is what matters to me the most.

Why do you want Red Dead Redemption?

Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. It was so moving and emotional, no game made me feel so many emotions like RDR2 did. It was a beautiful experience and I just wish I could forget everything to play it again! One of my favorite characters was surely John Marston and turns out that is the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption 1! Since I've finished RDR2 two years ago, I've always wanted to play RDR1 but emulation just wasn't that great (now's bit better but it's quite heavy) on Xenia and there were no other means to play it. This year this awesome game finally got ported to PC so everyone can experience it! I've been dying to play Red Dead Redemption 1 since I finished the second game. I was told by many that they actually PREFERRED the story in Red Dead Redemption 1 which makes me even more hyped to play it. I really need to experience another masterpiece of a story just like it was on RDR2.

Why can't you get it yourself?

I'm a student in my last year of university (hopefully haha), so I don't really get any money that often and when I need to save it in case something happens. This is hopefully my last request on GoG since I'll probably start working in the span of one year, at least I really hope so. Then it will be my turn of helping the community as much as you guys have helped me these last few years!

Conclusion

I would be really grateful if someone decided to gift me this amazing game that I've been wanting to play for the longest time. The game is currently on sale for 39,99€, which is very expensive especially for a game that released 10+ years ago. Apart from the game itself, it is also a huge stretch to be gifting this amount of money to a fellow stranger online so I'm just here trying my luck! This game has a special place in my heart, and I’d love the chance to experience it again—this time on PC.

When I first played it on PlayStation, I was absolutely hooked. I’ve always been drawn to RPGs and sandbox games that let you immerse in the story and its massive, living world. Red Dead Redemption filled all the boxes for me: from landscapes, the missions, to the hunting—it all felt really immersive. There was always something to do, and I enjoyed every second of it.

I’m the kind of gamer who can’t rest until I see everything the games I love, have to offer. You can rest assure when I finally get my hands on it again, I plan to re-explore every corner of the map, complete every mission, and get that 100% completion and achievements, no matter how long it takes.

Why Sonic X Shadow Generations?
I grew up with a hyper fixation on Sonic, the games and the characters, people would say it would pass but nope it did not, I still have a huge fixation, there are days where just looking at anything Sonic related would make me go from depressed to extremely happy and motivated, I just love him so much I can't...

Why can't I get it?
Third world country. Back in the day I could get a game like Halo Reach, Sonic Generations/Unleashed for R$60,00, but every game today is around the R$200-R$300 mark (and the salaries did not follow), Persona, Pokémon, Sonic, GoW, etc, even smaller ones like Sonic X Shadow Generations which, to put in perspective, that's 15%-25% of the minimum wage here (And most internships don't even pay minimum wage)

I've been working my ass off and saving up to start living alone this year and this game is way too expensive for me... My region was hit with a catastrophic flood in the middle of this year and everyone, including my family, had a lot of difficult expenses, and prices on things just keep going up and up and up...

Hello everyone! I feel weird since I've never done this before but here I am. I recently lost my job around Thanksgiving and have been down on my luck. Between job searching I have alot more free time and like to game to get my mind off things. There's a huge sale going on but of course it's when I'm low on money! Why do I want Rust?

As I mentioned in my introduction, I love survival games and have watched videos on Rust. I really enjoy the open-world and the PVP, and I find the different decorations cool. I'm really interested in the building part because I enjoy creating bases in survival games. In Rust, I think having a base is really important for storage and serves as a safe place until it gets raided, so I know I'll have fun with that part. I think it’s cool that you have to upkeep your base to prevent it from decaying. I believe my main challenge will be dealing with PVP and PVE because newcomers often tend to die quickly but it's part of learning Rust so I'm good with that.

Why can't I get Rust?

My reason for requesting this game is as simple as most people on here requesting games I just can't afford it. I don't ask my parents for help because they have their own struggles. I also don't have a job because I'm still in my last year of high school. I could get a job, but I want to keep my focus on school. I would really appreciate it if someone here could gift me a game. What is COD: Black Ops 6?
For anyone who might not know, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is the latest in the famous COD series. It’s got great action, amazing graphics, and some really exciting multiplayer modes. I’ve been watching gameplay videos, and it looks like so much fun. I would love to join my friends online and experience it myself! You might say, why not play it on gamepass? Which is a valid question, but even with gamepass after a couple of months it becomes unmanageable to fund it. I hope you know what you mean.

Why I Want It:

Why do I want this game so much? Let me count the ways!

The chance to explore Ancient Egypt—a setting so rich in history, mystery, and beauty—is something I’ve dreamed of. Hi gog, this is my 8th attempt and i would appreciate of someone could gift me this one.

Why FC 25? Well football(soccer) has always been a huge part in my life, i used to play when i was little and would watch some games with my family and friends. Few years latter me and my friends would always play video games like guitar hero, smash bros and Fifa, this one being the most fun since it was so competitive playing with our favorite teams to see which one was better. i moved a a couple of years ago but me and my always stayed in touch. we used to play every day during the pandemic and fifa was a game we always had to play. Eventually we stopped playing that frequently until last year when we got in touch again and decided to build our players and create a team to play in. I liked this game mainly because of two game modes:

1. Pro Clubs: is a mode in EA FC that allows you to create a Virtual Pro player to play on the pitch with friends. You can create a club with your friends and play matches of up to 11 v 11 individual players in order to climb to the top of the Pro Clubs footballing pyramid. We would also joined diffrent tournaments so we could improve our skills though we never got to win one lol.
2. Ultimate Team: is a mode in EA FC that lets you build your dream squad and take your team into matches against other players. Started playing this mode when i was recovering from a minor surgery and it was so adictive, the thrill of opening packs to see if you got your favorite players (and of course the op cards) followed by anger and dissapointment of packing the worse cards, combined by the most awful and unrealistic gameplay lol.

I’m here today firstly to present myself! I’m an Italian teenager that currently studies at the university of Bologna (as you can see in my steam profile) and life is going good! Schedule full with exams and lectures! Being in my twenties, you might understand that i love to spend time playing with video games (mostly with my friends); in the last weeks i’ve played a bit less than usual because of the tight schedule (9AM-6PM, the italian university has its ups and downs haha) and all the gaming i’ve done recently has been done with friends and not alone. because of that, i think i’d really enjoy a new game, that i’ve seen some months ago and is currently no.2 in my wishlist, Station to Station!

About the game: station to station is a relaxing game, with a pixelated graphic and a simple objective, building railway connections. The VERY POSITIVE reviews (>90% at the time writing) are a reflection of how good a game can be, regardless of its mechanics and gameplay difficulty (i mean, balatro is such a simple concept game and has been nominated as GOTY. Man i love balatro). The reason I’m asking you about Station to Station is because i think it might be the perfect game for me to play in my free time! Given that i enjoy pixelated graphic (Terraria, Minecraft) and I love cozy games (balatro, slay the spire) Station to Station MUST BE A MATCH (or at least that’s what i think). Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well. It is my second attempt for Street Fighter 6.

I've been passionate about fighting games for as long as I can remember. Ever since my childhood, they've been a significant part of my life, especially the Street Fighter series. I've been playing Street Fighter 4 for over 13 years now—it's been such a huge part of my gaming journey. However, as most of you might know, the majority of the Street Fighter community, around 90% of players, have now transitioned to Street Fighter 6. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to make that jump yet, as I simply can't afford the game at the moment. This has made it incredibly difficult to find people still playing SF4, and, as you can imagine, playing a fighting game offline without a competitive community feels pretty pointless once you reach a certain skill level.

To add to the challenge, I live in a third-world country where economic conditions make gaming even more difficult. Steam recently changed the pricing for games here, switching from our local currency to USD. While the prices are still somewhat lower than the standard USD prices, they are still far beyond what most of us can reasonably afford even during sales. For many gamers here, affording new releases like Street Fighter 6 is just not an option, which makes enjoying our favorite games harder than ever.

That said, I’m still passionate about fighting games and the community. I’d love to guide anyone who might be interested in learning these games, especially if you're new to the genre. If someone were kind enough to help me get Street Fighter 6, I'd not only be forever grateful but also thrilled to play and learn together. Ever since I discovered Terraria, I’ve been absolutely captivated by the game. Hello GOG, I'm Grungethefallen , I'm a 27 year old female gamer and mum to one . I want to start off by saying what brings me to GOG today.

This is my second attempt at getting Guild wars 2 Secrets of the Obscure Expansion for my guild wars 2 game and I am hoping that I could receive this expansion for my game as it would be worth the money that you spend on this expansion to the replay ability factors and also that the story writing Arenanet do for guild wars 2 make it all worth the money you pay for this expansion.

I would like to request Secrets of Obscure expansion while the autumn sale is on steam because I have been looking forward to continuing my guild wars 2 journey which I have put 695.4 Hours into the game. I have done various things in this game by playing through the story and doing the raids and fractals and content in guild wars 2 and still having a blast playing the game, I would really like to be able to continue the story even though this expansion is one expansion behind the recent expansion but I haven't got the funds to buy this for myself due to my financial situation and having a child makes it difficult to financially fund this too.

I have played guild wars 2 before I had a child and I have had so much fun playing guild wars 2 doing meta events to raiding and the heart events around Tyria and fractals but because I am so busy with my newborn son that I cannot play any other MMO'S currently due to time consumption of looking after a young baby and also due to money issues so I needed to find a MMO I could hop on for a few hours a day and grind with it being flexible to my schedule and not costing me any money at all whilst I can play this and look after my young son, so playing guild wars 2 was a great fit for that.

I would play this game regardless anyway I still wanted to play guild wars 2 for longer and getting this expansion will allow more content to be unlocked for me to be able to play the game longer which would be so awesome!

I am wanting this expansion because it will unlock the next segment of story to continue on my guild wars 2 journey. Getting this expansion will unlock the classes in a different way by allowing more variety of weapon choices and build choices so it can give more playability variables meaning that I can decide to play something more interesting with this expansion even though I main reaper necromancer as I really would like to try different combinations with classes. This expansion unlocks the vaults which are like a reward system in guild wars 2 for completing tasks and you can earn certain rewards from completing tasks in the little section in the HUD which can be beneficial to gameplay such as armour and skins for mounts .

Not only does this expansion expand on weapon types but also uncocks a new type of mount that I will be able to use in this game called Skyscale which is a dragon type mount that you can use in the new world map that you get with this expansion and with the Skyscale mount it will allow you to traverse in ways of guild wars 2 that you haven't been able to up to this point before and you get to explore more of the zones with this map which I think is really cool as it unlocks newer areas to explore .

After putting so many hours into guild wars 2 it would be great to be able to play this expansion over and over with each character I create. I really am immersed into the storyline of guild wars 2 enjoying each moment of cutscenes and dialogue that the game has to offer and I really would love to see more of this game through the gameplay and story lore and with this expansion I will be able to continue doing just that by exploring new characters and areas and story gameplay .

Thank you for taking the time to read this! With the holidays coming up, I’m hoping that someone might be willing to bless me with an early Christmas gift: the DLC for Xenoblade Chronicles 3, which is just under $30 on the US eShop.

I was lucky enough to get a 2nd hand copy of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 not too long ago, and I’ve just wrapped up the main story. It was an incredible journey, and I loved every second of it. The characters (Lanz <3), the class change system, the deep combat mechanics, and the expansive world were really enjoyable. Now that I’ve finished the base game, I’m really eager to continue the adventure and explore all the amazing extra contents of the DLC.

I’m super excited about the DLC because it adds even more characters, quests and new game mode to wrap up the trilogy's storyline. I’ve already invested so much time in the base game, so it feels like the next natural step to dive into the new content. I’m especially looking forward to the new classes; they look so good and I can’t wait to try them out!

Unfortunately, I’ve been dealing with some health issues recently, which has meant I’ve been out of a job, so I’m not able to afford the DLC right now. So I’m reaching out to this amazing community in hopes that someone might be willing to share some of their kindness with me. It would honestly mean the world to me to keep going in the XC 3.

Hey everyone, I’m here to request Spider Man. It’s been on my watchlist for what seems like forever and it’s simply a game I still can’t afford even when on sale.

Why do I want this game? I love open world games, and I absolutely love the concept of being able to web sling from place to place. Anyone who has read anything about this game knows that it’s one of the biggest features of the game. It looks absolutely breathtaking and something that you can enjoy for hours on end.

I feel like this game would be my next addiction. And who doesn’t love being addicted to their video games?? :)

Now why can’t I get it? My wife truly doesn’t understand the joy/relaxation that gaming gives me. It’s my outlet. It’s what I do when all of life’s stuff is finished for the day. We just don’t have the disposable income for this hobby. I get it but it doesn’t mean I don’t love to game as an outlet.

I’m here with a humble request for Red Dead Redemption 2 for the 2nd time, which is currently on 70% discount on Steam.

I am a very huge fan of open world games and love to explore each & every aspect of the game which it provides. Red Dead Redemption 2 has always been on the top of the lists of all the reviews I have seen for good open world games, and since a long time I have desired to play this game.

On my very first playthrough of Witcher 3 only, I spent 400 hours exploring every tiny detail the game offered, just as an example for how much I love open world games.

But sadly, Rockstar has increased the price of this game hugely, and even on this much discount, the game is unaffordable for me.

I also cannot play this game on Family Sharing from my friend's account as well, since all the games of Rockstar Games require their own launcher, making it unavailable for Family Sharing.

Because of all these reasons, I am reaching out to the amazing & helpful people of GoG, hoping that someone might help me playing & exploring this gem of a game.
