Hey everyone! I’m hoping to get some help with a request for Sonic x Shadow Generations on Steam. I know it’s a lot to ask, especially with the cost, but I thought I’d give it a shot!

What is Sonic x Shadow Generations?

Why I Want the Game:

Sonic has been a huge part of my life since I was young. I’ve always loved the fast-paced gameplay, iconic characters, and the creativity that comes with every new Sonic game. There’s something special about this blue hedgehog and his friends that has always brought me joy and comfort, no matter what’s going on in life. Plus, I’ve been a lifelong fan of both Sonic and Shadow, so a game where they’re front and center is pretty much a dream come true!

As a kid, I’d play the classic Sonic games with my siblings and cousins, competing for the best times or teaming up to explore the many worlds of the franchise. Those were some of my favorite memories growing up, and I’d love the chance to relive them. Getting Sonic x Shadow Generations would let me dive back into that world, connect with my childhood, and experience the adventure and thrill that come with every Sonic game.

Why I Can’t Afford It:

Life has been challenging lately due to the economic burden on my family. Gaming has always been my go-to escape, but unfortunately, I can’t afford to purchase this game myself at the moment. Having Sonic x Shadow Generations would mean the world to me—it would provide me with an opportunity to unwind, immerse myself in the world I adore, and take a break from the pressures of daily life.

I’ve had the game on my wishlist for a good amount of time, can’t wait to dive in!

Hi, this is my second attempt at making this request.

With the release of Factorio: Space Age, I’m more eager than ever to dive into Factorio. I only got to try it for about 20 minutes on a friend’s PC, but that brief time was enough to spark a real interest. The game combines two things I love: space and strategy. I’m into space (I even have a collection of space magazines), and I love the challenge of building and refining strategies, which is why this game seems perfect for me.

The main reason I’m reaching out, though, is because of my dad. He’s a huge fan, with over 5,000 hours in the game, and he’s currently exploring the new DLC. Playing this game with him would mean the world to me, as he’s always wanted to share it with me and experience it together. He’s 77, and the idea of spending quality time in a game he’s passionate about feels like an incredible way to create some lasting memories with him.

The only problem is that Factorio rarely goes on sale, and $35 is a bit out of my budget right now. I’m not trying to make this a pity post; I just thought it wouldn’t hurt to put out this request in case someone is in a position to help.

My first try was a different game and im posting about this one because hes on sale right now.
This was a game i could have get before but i didnt had a new gen console to play. Now my GF gave me a new gen console but i cant afford the game...
I'm not a top 1 fan of Harry Potter but i really like the movies. My GF loves the series and she loves to watch me playing.
If i get the game, i'll be playing with her and listening to all the little details shes gonna see during the game.
She's the one always supporting me during my daily problems and i love doing anything to make her smile. Shes having some problems with her dog and the current job and the amount of stress is too high.

For me, as i said, im not the biggest fan of the books but i do love the movies. The game comes dubbed and has one our favorite voice actors. We never saw a gameplay or anything hoping we could play together in the future and i see this as a opportunity.

I'm dont have a job right now, shes about to quit the one she have cause is giving her health issues and our money is going to our pets and medications. She has a dog who had a accident, i have 4 cats and moved to a small house so im having to fix some stuffs so my cats can live freely and our medical expenses are kinda high for few months.

I'm trying to focus on good stuffs and celebrating every good thing big or small to not allow this bad stuffs be the only thing in our day. I hope we can get this amazing gift and i can guarantee a long long time with night game sessions while we discover everything on the game and get every achievement.

Let me start by saying I absolutely know this is a big ask and I do not take it lightly.

Monster Hunter Wilds is what will become my next addiction. I know it, you know, we all know it! :)

In all seriousness, this is probably the only game I have on my radar for 2025. I have been on the lookout for a game to completely suck me in and forget all other games exist. I truly believe this is going to be the one.

The chance to be able to play this game at time of release and be able to grow with it is an absolute dream.

This game has been on my wishlist since it was announced. I’ve watched the trailers and each one gets me more and more excited for the release.

Now the most important part. Why can’t I get it? Honest and simple truth remains that gaming is just not an affordable option for me. Wife really doesn’t understand the value it brings to help relax after long days of work. We just honestly don’t have the disposable income.

Know that should I be gifted this game, it will be coming to a good home that will be appreciated every time I boot up the game.

Hello everyone in GOG, I'm here to request Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Dragon Age: The Veilguard is a RPG game, in this game, you play as a new hero who teams up with the Veilguard to fight against ancient gods threatening the world. You'll lead a team of companions, each with their own rich stories and unique abilities. The game also have a character customization and different classes.

Why I love/want it?

As a big fan of RPG games and having played BG3 or other RPG titles, I've been smitten by Dragon Age: The Veilguard. I watched videos of it way back before it's released, and now that it's here I can't wait to play it. With multiple races, classes, and story paths, there’s plenty of replay value. Each playthrough can offer new experiences and outcomes, which I can enjoy longer before getting burned out.

I can't buy the game for myself currently as a university student, after managing my expenses I barely have any left. I recently used my money which is the money I used to save for FFXVI in my recent project which I have to start over and over again because it's not a satisfactory result. My dad also recently got laid off in his job so I can't ask for allowance. The situation might get better and I can get the game my self, until then I can only hope someone to help.

what makes the game special?

sparking zero is the successor to budokai tenkaichi 3, the continuation of the BT series, and is basically everything fans have been wanting and asking for since bt3, the gameplay is fluid and smooth, combos are easy to learn but hard to master, and so are the blasts, which have been improved on heavily, with more impact and a cinema feel, which is for me one of the main selling points, fighterz was basically a playable anime, and sparking is the 3d equivalent of that, almost everything has a special scene/interaction, environment destruction is present on all stages, with some being more destructible than others, character damage with torn clothes, the cinema aspect was cranked to 100 and it really feels like a playable version of the dragon ball anime.

why do i want the game?

as i have stated before, the game is basically a playable version of the anime, ever since i found out my laptop could run the thing, i have been wanting it on my library, i want to get achievements (as far as i can get, at least, some may be too hard), play online pvp, and get some hours in it, it just scratched an itch that dbz kakarot didnt, the controls seem fun, the battles are awesome, and the story mode is full of what if scenarios, which is an absolute win in my book

why cant i buy it myself?

i live in Brazil, and if you know how it is, just that name alone speaks a million words, but this country is a mess, especially with the economy, being a 3rd world country, everything that would cost cheap in a place like the US, now costs 5x the price, meaning that the game that would cost 60-70 dollars there, now costs 280 BRL here, which is absurd, considering a single bill, be it water or electricity already costs that much, that while not considering other expenses, buying games here, especially launch titles is very hard if you aren't living the good life, and for many of us, coming to these type of places to ask for it is the only option

Im reaching out today with a humble request for a game that’s truly close to my heart: Red Dead Redemption. Ive been waiting, hoping, and dreaming about a PC release of this classic for what feels like a lifetime. I poured hours into Red Dead Redemption 2, exploring every dusty trail, hidden valley, and bustling town in its stunningly detailed world. For me, RDR2 isn’t just a game—it’s a journey, one of my all-time favorites, and I’m sure many of you can understand the pull it has on me. With the first Red Dead Redemption finally on PC, it feels like a chance to rediscover the roots of this world and fully appreciate the lore and storytelling that made this series so unforgettable.

But heres where life steps in. Why cant I afford it, especially after waiting so long? The timing, honestly, couldnt be worse. My significant other and I are on the brink of a big life change—we’re moving in together! Its a huge step forward, and as you can imagine, its also a big financial commitment. Between securing a place, packing, and setting up a new home, our budget has been stretched thin. We are prioritizing the essential things right now, like furniture, deposits, and all those moving expenses that sneak up on you. After everything is accounted for, there's barely anything left for leisure, and definitely not enough for a new game purchase.

Gaming is something thats always brought us closer. Its our way to unwind, to connect, to escape the stress of everyday life together. Its like a little sanctuary in the middle of all the chaos, which I know a lot of you can relate to.

This semester at university has been particularly demanding, with deadlines looming and exams piling up. Between that, work responsibilities, and the move, Ive been feeling the weight of it all. Knowing I could unwind with Red Dead Redemption once finals are over would be the perfect reward. Just the thought of getting lost in that beautifully crafted Wild West after a long and hard semester sounds perfect.

Well, this one is a big ask, being a AAA new release and thus not on sale yet, but I wanted to give it a go anyway. I've been a Bioware fan since the original Baldur's Gate. ( Yes, I would like to apply for my senior discount, thank you ) I've played through all 3 Mass Effect games ( What fourth game? Androme-what? ) and Dragon Age games and enjoyed them all. Yes, even Dragon Age 2 which a lot of people hate on. Veilguard looks fun, but budget these days doesn't allow for me to pick up new release games so it's to the kindness of strangers I turn now. I'm not holding my breath, but I would really be happy if someone came through for me on this one. ^_^

While they've had some missteps with that Mass Effect game that shall not be named and Anthem, DA:TV looks to be a step back on the right track, going by some of the early reports that I've heard. A definite change in combat style, but still enjoyable and action packed. The Warden, Hawke, and Inky have given me some fond memories in the past, I hope I'll be able to say the same of Rook.

Hey again r/GiftOfGames! This will be my 3rd time requesting DBSZ, and I really do hope that my reasons are good enough for it to get fulfilled by an extraordinary person! Thank you for reading!

So what even is DBSZ?

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is an anime arena fighter. Unfortunately, in case you didn't know, arena fighters haven't had the best reputation in recent years, and that's because most of the newer AAFs suffer from a lack of care and passion put into the gameplay and are more-so made to capitalize on the IP which they are making a game of, i.e. Naruto, My Hero Academia etc., which is why people have grown distasteful of them. This is not the case with Sparking Zero however. The game is a direct continuation of the Budokai Tenkaichi series, which have been universally praised and are thought of not only as some of the best Dragon Ball games ever or best arena fighters ever, but also some of the greatest ever anime games PERIOD, and now critics and fans are saying that Sparking Zero has proved itself as a worthy successor to the BT series and has given hope that the arena fighter genre isn't dead and buried!

Why do I want it?

First of all, it simply looks insane. Whenever I watch a gameplay video of it I have to remind myself that what I'm looking at is in fact a video game and not the actual anime. Second, I will admit that I didn't grow up watching Dragon Ball, or have ever played the previous Budokai Tenkaichi games, so I don't have any nostalgia for the series. However, I would love to experience this type of game for the first time, so that I can experience what others have for decades, and considering that this game has multiplayer where you can fight other real people, I believe this is the perfect way to get introduced not just to the BT series, but also the entire Dragon Ball series as a whole! Third, I would really appreciate a light-hearted game like this to take my mind off my real-world struggles.

Why can't I afford it?

I'll spare you the details; I live in a small eastern-european country, meaning awful wages, meaning the game is simply out of my reach unfortunately. It's also partly due to Steam removing regional pricing, which means I have to pay the EXACT SAME amount as someone who earns literally DOUBLE the minimum wage in a neighbouring country... I have been working to gain any extra money I can, but again it's not much, and what I do gain I have to save it for more important life stuff.
