Hello,
I am curious if you guys have seen/heard of a similar issue.
Particularly when my mag is fully loaded with hollow point and/or flat nosed rounds they seem to get hung up on the feed ramp and the only way I can get them to feed is by apply upward pressure on the magazine to essentially push the rounds past the lower lip of the feed ramp.
To me it seems the when the magazine is fully inserted, it sits too low thus causing the rounds to get hung up. I heard in some forum that this is intentional because it’s a nato gun and they designed it to not feed hollow points. Not sure if it buy that.
Thanks!
Finally got me a GHM9 scorpion lingle lower, and then finally got a new B&T spring for the push pins. yes I did send one of the springs absolutely flying when I tried removing them fromcthe OEM lower, I am truly a master gonsmiff. Overall I'm thrilled with this gun, I could shoot this thing everyday and not get tired of it. If anyone is curious about the Lingle lower, I gotta say, it's amazing. The mag and bolt release are both super crisp and make reloading quick and easy. The build isn't fully done (a light and, eventually, a suppressor and tax stamp to make it an SBR are on my to do list), but she is coming along nicely if I do say so myself
Overly long winded updated parts list since I last posted my GHM a few months ago, and explanations behind them in case ur curious: Got the lower used with a milspec trigger and safety which wasn't up to my tastes (the OEM trigger in the standard B&T lower was actually really solid and I wasn't willing to go back to milspec, and I am lefthanded so I had to pick up an ambi safety) so I am now rocking a Stern defense H2S and a radian safety, both of which have been excellent. I now know why everyone loves the radian safety. The trigger just looked decent for the price on optics planet, and so far it does not disappoint The MRO and riser are nice but I am planning on getting a different optic with a green dot at some point, with a slightly higher riser maybe. I'm a tad underwhelmed with it considering how much they cost new, though i got mine off GAFS The grip on it is a BCM mod 2, i like how it fits my hand but it is a bit long for this sort of build. I just couldn't do the lack of grippiness on the B&T grip, and the DFCO one was way too small (in most dimensions) for me to be comfortable with. I'll do more research on something else eventually The APC specific AFG is... alright. It's kinda massive and I'm not really sure it's what I want. I am thinking the best choice might be to just rock a handstop and put on a pic rail cover to smooth the rest of the rail. Curious what others' opinions are on this part if you've used it, especially compared to other options
Hi, I am looking to join the GHM9 club but i have some questions about the difference between gen1/ gen 2.
Simply because the distribution in my country(EU) has only the gen1 in stock and ready to pick up now. They have gen2 but only the G model which i assume is for glock magazines right?
Are the gen1 GHMs okey? I never had anything from B@T but pricewise and modularity is really good.
I picked this puppy up as a standard GHM9 back in 2020. I got lucky and snagged one of the few kits that came in that year. After a 10 month wait and a trip to the gunsmith, the setup was complete. It was my first SD gun and sparked my love for them. I know it's the old model, but I always loved the look of the suppressor compared to the new RBS style. Any other Gen 1 owners out there?
I am building out my purchase list for the GHM, and I noticed MD requires SBR's to be 29" OAL to be state compliant. I see with the stock on a GHM the OAL is 27". Does anyone know of other options for the GHM to hit the 29" OAL so I can SBR it. Im not a fan of Braces, but I will buy one for the time being.
Just ordered a new ghm9 cg , but realizing I didn’t fully do my research on braces for the platform beforehand. My ar pistol was easy enough just throw an sba brace on the buffertube which the ghm9 clearly lacks.
My question is what all do you need to put a pistol brace on the ghm9? I’ve been briefly looking at a3 tactical that seems to be the place to go but I’m overwhelmed with the options and not sure exactly what you need to run what. It looks like adaptors are needed for the braces and they don’t just directly fit ?
I appreciate any responses in advanced.
I see all sorts of piece of shit guns for sale online that cost as much or more than a ghm9, as if sellers are hoping some uninfomed buyer will spend thousands of dollars for an absolute shit-tier firearm. The amount of solidity and quality control at b&t is incredible considering how reasonably priced they are. The only other gun that seems to be at the same value for money as a b&t is the iwi galil ace.
Curious to hear what others cleaning regime is for those with the ghm9sd. Only had a few months but loving it so far.
Local to me there’s a gen 1 ghm9 with 4 mags and the b&t collapsing brace that’s hard to find/$ for 1500 I negotiated to
Originally wanted a mpx but they’re just a bit $$
My only hesitation with this gen 1 is I plan on suppressing it but with the gen 1 I can’t swap the handgaurd to tuck a can or do the SD barrel/can kit. And a bit concerned about gas in my face with a can being a left handed shooter and these being delayed blowback
Finally have my own, so I thought I would share
Bought a GHM for the second time, I just can’t quit it! I have the pic rail end cap - what are some of the best looking and feeling braces? Ran telescopic my first time, trying to avoid paying that much again if I can. I know A3 has a bunch, I just don’t have experience. Let me know what yall think!
I’ve got a Glock lower that I just do not need. Took it in on trade from another user to help them out but I just don’t have a need for it so figured I’d see if anybody here wanted it before it goes on gafs and tacswap.
What is the difference between the gen 2 and gen 3 uppers?
Do I trade this for a APC or is the difference just not there? Who is lucky enough to own Both? Thanks
I have a gen 1 b&t lower that I am wanting to trade for a glock lower (gen 1 or 2). If anyone would be interested reach out!
I was loading a full mag of Winchester USA Ready 124gr +P JHP, the first round wouldn't feed/chamber, I had to remove the mag and take the round out and try again with a new round. Second try, similar issue but re-racking the bolt push it in. I fire and it "exploded" in a way I've not experienced. The mag blew out, rounds in the mag and my hand covered in black dust (may hand was over the magwell and mag), my hand wasn't burned but felt strange. I don't know if this was the gun, the ammo, the mag, etc. Has anyone else experienced this?
I've run at least a thousand rounds of various ammo through the gun, the only other issues I've had were with Speer 124gr "lawman" rounds failing to fully eject. I've previously run multiple mags of the the USA Ready JHP.
Picking up a GHM on Friday and wanted to get some feedback on y’all’s favorite 9mm cans. I’ve never shot or owned a suppressor before so I am all ears! I’ve been told by the guy I’m buying the gun from that the Ca$h 9mm is solid.
I recently received a Gen 1 lower GHM9, and would like the Gen 2 someday for the ability to swap grips.
First and foremost has anyone else done the same for any reason? And if so, is the MSRP of like $650 pretty standard across the board for those lowers? Seems sort of insane for a chunk of polymer.
I don’t really have an issue with the gen 1, I got it at a good price but looking to the future I could see myself wanting a fatter grip.
Testing out the RovyVon for goon activities…works pretty well if I’m being honest.
2.26 inch riser is very comfortable and quick
The absolute sleekness of the ghm9 seems like the kind of design you would expect from apple or mercedes benz. Its almost perfectly elegant at every level of functioning and every level of appearance.
Or does it not matter?
