recently bought an 9" apc and loved it so much i bought a GHM9 compact also. im not looking to drop 600 on the B&t telescoping stock and have been eyeing the A3 telescoping stock. curious to those that own the A3 stock, how much wider are the bars compared to the body of the GHM? does it stick out to the side a fair bit? if you have one and could post a top down photo that would be amazing!

How can you tell if a ghm45 is Gen 1 or 2? I'm about to purchase a used one and would really like a Gen 2.

Is there any noticeable differences between 1 & 2 ?

Specific serial numbers to look for? Upper or lower features to look for?

Dedicated suppressor for the GHM9?

Loving the look of the new B&T print cans, especially with that pic rail. Seems the CAT MOB might be the quietest ? Lmk your experiences. My CGS mod9 seems like it’s a better fit for pistols.

Are there any other handguard options out there for the ghm9? Im looking for a more rounded option instead of the squared off factory one on my SD. This picture would be perfect but this was a 3d print for an airsoft gun.

The firearms scene seems similar to the skateboarding scene where if one company starts dominating the market, the whole skate community starts to shit all over them and try to root for the underdog companies. I just dont know why the firearms market would be the same as the skateboard market in this way. B&T makes the most solidly engineered guns you can buy and it doesnt seem reasonable to choose something shittier bc you want to be original. If cayenne turbos were driven by 90% of all drivers and they were relatively inexpensive i would still buy a fucking cayenne turbo. Why? Bc its a fucking cayenne turbo. I wouldnt care that everybody on the road was driving the same car as me. I would look at it as having the best driving experience for the money, not that i was being "unoriginal". Skateboards? Yeah, element got too big for their britches and the skate scene essentially boycotted them. But guns are not planks of wood. In a car or a firearm i couldnt care less about originality because its a highly advanced technology im buying, not a fucking plank of wood with a design on the bottom.

Added a Walker Defense Research Nero 9 compensator. Looked goofy, but its description fits the bill well and it’s made of quality material so figured I’d give it a shot. “…purpose-built to handle the notable muzzle rise of pistol caliber carbines (PCC) with a blowback action.” Made of Inconel with a DLC finish.

To make this clear to the mods and Reddit- I am not looking to sell it here.

I am just curious as to what fair market value is since I want to upgrade to an SD.

The description says it has "an integrated shoulder stock", but then the photo doesn't show any stock. It looks just like a regular GHM9 with a B&T telescopic brace adaptor.

Had someone offer a used GHM9 C Pistol with B&T magazine lower. It’s used, but not beat to hell by any means. Well say really good condition. Just trying to gauge what a fair offer would be? Not trying to just lowball the guy. I was thinking right at or a hair under the 3k mark? Edit: Sorry, the way I worded it didn’t make sense; but my 3k-ish guess is based on the GHM9 including all of the extras listed below! I was guessing about 1.3k, give or take, for just the bare GHM9.

Also, when I get a chance to get hands on is there anything specific I should look out for or be aware of? It is a Gen 2.

I'm keeping the front and rear take down pins. I will include the glock mag. Low round count, good condition, all factory parts. $350 shipped.

Bought this as a pistol and filed an eForm 1 (about 8 days) last summer and finally got around to posting it. Sighted it in at 50’ (measured). Shoots 1/2” groups with either 115gr. or 124gr. all day long. The suppressor is a flow through so it is quite enough, but doesn’t leave the gun completely filthy. Truly a fun gun and a great addition to my B&T family.

I’m wanting to upgrade my trigger what does everyone recommend. Also looking to upgrade the butt on my collapsible stock is there anything else out there other than the haga defense one?

Curious if anyone has show subs through an SD specifically? It’s already so quiet with supers but I didn’t want to send it with subs until I knew if it was ok. It’s ported to drop the supers to sub range and wondered if that would cause issues shooting some 165g Stelth rounds? Thanks everyone
