What are the geopolitical ramifications? How the dominoes fall, over the subsequent 1~2 years?

So glad I found this subreddit because this legit happened in a dream I had recently. I actually was shooting the shit with my GSEC professor recently and he told me about when this did happen with the XP source code somewhat recently.

So let's imagine a scenario and I will build it up.

Hackers in Russia somehow manage to get their hands on everything that Microsoft has to offer. The entire source code for the Windows 10 and Windows 11 Kernel. In addition, they get the code for their other applications such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Copilot, and Edge.

They don't hold it ransom but just dump it out for all to see. The code to all their shit just now out in the open. Everyone has access to it.

In my dream, Microsoft scrambled to put shit together and hide it all, but it was too little too late and the damage was done. Shit like Winux was already up with Linux Distros like Ubuntu having a lot of new and sus updates, the entirely military then moved away from Windows and onto making their own, and they overall lost a huge portion of market share in the IT market.

But would this occur? What do you think will happen?

How realistic is this prospect in 2026??? This is a realistic 2026 that has the U.S. stay democratic and Democrats do well in that election and take back the House at minimum. What is the impact of this particular "flip" in NC?

For the purpose of this hypothetical, assume they are all super-racist Southern traditionalists that want to put black people back in chains and deport, execute, or enslave everyone who isn't visibly and obviously of white European heritage.

Title says it all. Truth be told, it’ll get pretty bad for the next 4 years with Trump as president again, so much so that the American people will revolt. Expect to see significant changes to the country’s democratic system of government as a result.

On the bright side, there’ll be no more having to vote between the blue donkey party or the red elephant party, as they’ll both be completely dissolved. The US will likely end up becoming a Federal Semi-Presidential Republic with a multiparty democracy, similar to that of France and Poland.

On New Years Day, 2025, A video surfaces on social media where Vladimir Putin seemingly loses his marbles during a public address regarding the Russian war against Ukraine and announces on national television that he’ll hand Crimea to Kim Jong-Un and allow the DPRK to annex it as a thank you for aiding the Russian military.
