How does one go about trying out for this team? I play every day and am a level 103 Orisa, and epic II tank, and have 13 gold weapons but always get crap shoot teams. How do I go about showing how good I am at this game? I am local.

I’ve been playing since OW1 beta. As a Floridian I was stoked to have a regional esports team of my own. I remember when we were the meme team of the League for several seasons. I still stood by us. I have the S1 Ronald McDonald colored jerseys and New Era hat. I still regularly wear my other black and pink New Era hat (Dear God thank you for getting the team colors changed). I also have the Jeff Staple collection jersey. I’ve never wavered on the Mayhem.

To now see us win Grand Finals, Coach of the Year, and MVP all in one go is truly surreal. Albert if you happen to see this: thank you for being a rockstar leader. Gunba and McGravy, thank you for all the incredible coaching insights you’ve imparted to our players. And to our current players (and past ones), y’all absolutely crushed it and made this easily the most fun and best season to be a Mayhem fan. And a huge thanks to all of the support staff we don’t see who literally keep the organization moving.

Also, fuck Covid. I think the League would have a future had the pandemic not happened and the homestand model was able to take off.

Even if this season is OWL’s last, may we all always be ready to #BringTheMayhem. Thanks again for everything, team.
