Charlie did not have to go out like that, oh my gosh that's so sad and unnecessary. Like I know most people didn't like her because of what she did to Nick but she grew on me as a character. She was basically the group's daughter. I was going to move onto the next episode but I was like "no that's too sad, I need a moment." Ugh idk who to hate, Madison is one of my faves but at least she changed her mind. Atp.... whatever. They always want to kill characters with the most potential. THEY BETTER NOT DO ANYTHING TO LUCIANA!
its crazy that troy pulling a scarface mid season is not exaggerated by fans in the slightest lmao. one of the best scenes in the show with the best lines too. "IS THAT IT? HUH? LET IT RAIN ASSHOLES, LET IT RAIN!" almost felt the same with the iconic say hello to my little friend. The balls on this guy. You need a fucking army you want to fuck with him!
They’re in the pantry at the ranch at the end of season 3. Was the actress high that day or is this part of the scene? She looks wild this whole monologue 😂
I just started the show and I’m up to season 2 episode 9. So far Nick has abandoned his family in Mexico and trying to make it on his own while trying to join the dead. In episode 8, you hear more about his relationship with his dad and I wanted to know what you guys think of the relationship? Was his dad that bad and negligent? He seemed to have depression and was trying his best to connect with Nick. Nick seemed to be ungrateful but maybe there’s something I’m missing here.
I’m on season 7. Since season 4 it seems like the writers were like… who wants to show up to work? Yeah we will doodle in some story line that doesn’t make sense, whatever cool. They just keep giving us new seasons. I know they changed writers, blah blah.. I have a newborn and went down the Reddit rabbit hole being nocturnal now. Also since season 4, you wanna die on the show, (insert actor)? Yeah, we don’t know why they keep giving us seasons. Go for it. This show basically turned into JASON X (Jason goes to space) in the Friday the 13th franchise. That’s the best comparison I have. It’s completely off the wall.. and yes I know it’s a zombie show.
i dont realy want to watch imo ark so i need to know where to start when madison clark will show along with nick and alicia .and is after season 3 is really worthy ?
So after almost 2 YEARS, i finished FTWD. The last seasons were unwatchable, especially season 7 and 8. I loved season 1 to 4, then everything went to crap.
What should i watch next?
TWD, FTWD, Tales TWD: All watched.
I should watch Worlds Beyond and after this Daryl Dixon?
Hello everyone! I'd like to start off with l've been in love with TWD since it came out. The spin offs have been amazing so far but I never got around to seeing fear the walking dead.. there is a reason for this. I heard it was incredibly boring. NOW I did try a few years ago to watch season 1 (I made it about 2 episodes in and stopped because it was boring.)
Recently, I got my boyfriend into the walking dead and happily binged it with him. He wanted to check out Fear TWD. I told him I wasn't that interested in it but we watched... we finished the first season and both agreed we would just skip a few seasons ahead (we skipped to season 4) let me say, that probably saved me into actually finishing the show. The only thing I care about and is keeping me in this show is John. His backstory almost made me cry and I'm finally getting "the walking dead vibes." Maybe it's the acting from the main people that set me off? I skipped 3 seasons and saw no growth in the main characters at all and felt like I didn't miss any important lore. I plan to keep watching but if John dies, it's gonna hit me as hard as Glenn's death (pun intended)
I love Fear. That doesn’t mean the show is above critique. I’m finally watching all the way through (at the end of season 7). My biggest gripe is that the amazing stratagem developed by the OG crew were disregarded so often. In no particular order are my complaints.
What are some strategy holes you’ve noticed in FTWD?
I’ve watched TWD back to back and just finished FTWD.
I’ll take a lil break (probably 1 day lol) many because of the dead and the horrible noise they make.
Unfortunately TOWL, Dead City, Daryl Dixon (should it be this order)? are not available in the UK but The World Beyond is - is it worth watching? Any known characters there? just 1 season though.
We can do this.
We need to clear a path.
Do you copy?
I don’t want any trouble.
We don’t have much time.
We can make a deal.
Answer me.
Meet me at the rendezvous.
There is another way.
I don’t need your help.
So is this entire show about separating the group? It seems to be a constant trope in this show. I mean I know in the OG TWD it happens but they're usually back together within an episode or 2. Or maybe one person peels off for whatever reason.
But this show seems like it's entire purpose is for characters to constantly separate. Like at the end of Season 2, the family finally gets back together after an entire season....for all of 5-10 minutes before they get separated again.
And I just got done watching TWD so I know they're trying to have 2-3 storylines to jump around so it's not just one continuous storyline (unless it's a character specific episode). But it feels so forced.
I just felt TWD was always about community, where this show seems like everyone is just about selfishness.
Is this supposed to be a reflection on the people from LA? Just the mentality? Like "fuck you I'm gonna go do me". That's just my take.
I can't tell if it's because they made a spin off and didn't know if it was going to be successful, or if it's the fact they didn't have any source material to go off of.
Well, that was a surprise! Love the new hair too. Such a nice and beautiful community:)
Looking forward to see how Madison will spoil it not only for ‘Anton’ but for everyone. /s of course
How is that a half dead Morgan jones and a random guy are able to take on 50 walkers but people in way bigger groups can’t even handle that
This is just a dump of my frustration and sadness getting to the end of season 4. I am rolling my eyes at the dialogue, how dumbed down the story has become, and the cringing at every single the new character. This “villain” is as far from compelling as it could get. I miss the family dynamics that I was so totally invested in. This was a smart, heartfelt, inspiring and moving show seasons 1-3. I was ready to give it a try after Madison’s death even though I was pissed. But darn… it really is not the same show any more. I’ll probably keep watching because I’m still invested in the older characters that I love (and I got a spoiler that someone comes back which is nice but I doubt it can save this dumpster fire). Ugh. RIP seasons 1-3 - one of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time. Dave Erickson knew what he was doing!
Edit: let me clarify, I dislike the new characters introduced towards the end of s4. I absolutely love our gunslinger John Dorie, June, Al (short haired Shannon!) and obviously Morgan - although the dialogue is starting to decline for everyone.
Edit 2: the most compelling new character is the really big gator.
My favorite characters so far are some of the new characters, and Sarah and Lucy. I don't know why Lucy doesn't get more screen time. The part where Sarah says "Move out of my way if you want to keep your teeth." And then Lucy just stares at her serving face card before letting her go look for Wendall 😭
New to TWD shows, started with Fear The Walking Dead, got halfway through season 4 and I'm annoyed and a bit bored. So this morning I started Season 1 Episode 1 of the regular Walking Dead. That being said, should I just continue with TWD or should I go back to Fear and finish it??
I was happy to see Morgan in TWD, is Victor in it too?
Thank y'all for your input!! 🤩
The story board wasn’t even trying with this lack luster plot! The more I watch the more horrible the acting gets and the plots starts to thin.
I'm on season 1 episode 5 currently binge watching it. So far so good. How far does it go until it falls apart and gets unwatchable or is it good all the way through?
Unsure if this spoils things for anyone, hence the spoiler warning. I just decided to watch The Walking Dead spinoffs and sequels. I haven't finished The Walking Dead. I watched the Daryl Dixon show's first season. Just adding that for context. I'm on season 8, episode 9. Madison Clark is aggravating
I'm almost finished with this show. It's really bad—I know—and I'm glad to see I'm not alone in this opinion here as I've scrolled a bit. However, I genuinely think the Pioneers were an interesting group and liked Virginia as an antagonist. She seemed to be a bit of the Governor/Negan mixed together with a "manifest destiny" twist and was unique enough.
She was certainly a breath of fresh air from the "we drive trucks in circles and crash airplanes to help random people" nonsense. However, in the end, it all puttered out to be meaningless (as most of the plots on this show do).
My question: What complaints do people have with this group's inclusion specifically? Or did the load of poor writing just crush the idea?
I'm genuinely curious.
ETA season 8 not 6. Just started S8.
I though June was being so bad ass cutting those collector trigger fingers just to discover she had done the same to Shrike so obvs easy to know who was doing all that.
If it was so easy to sedate them, drag their boat and cut their finger WHY not just kill them ffs?
Acting is highly theatrical! No flow! Just imitating Negan and poorly!!
I never had the will to finish the show because the characters are so uninteresting that I got bored fast. I love Nick and John though, hope nothing happens to them.
Should I try watching the show again?
Finally getting round to watching season 8; just started episode 7 and they’re all speaking German - but there are no English subtitles?! There’s subtitles when they’re speaking English but not to translate when they’re speaking German?! How am I supposed to watch this episode 🤣
Which child as a baby suffered more trauma? Judith or Mo?
Luciana. She is just so nice.
She works hard and she kicks ass.
She cares about everyone and treats everyone well and never gets into unnecessary disagreements.
She is also good at thinking on her feet and so far has never done anything stupid. Everyone else one time or another decides to take matters in their own hands and go on their little secret mission and end up sabotaging whatever else the group is doing but Luci is a true team player.
I know she left Nick but it was nit in the middle of a mission or in a way that put him in danger.
I just finished season 6 of Fear. It was pretty good, and I was hoping that season 7 would be the same. But it’s not. I just started the second episode and I already hate it.
For the first episode, Strand’s character arc got thrown away for him to be some selfish asshole (who he was like four different times before- the switching back and forth is as bad as Morgan at this point). I really don’t like him, and I wish Will had stayed alive.
In the second episode, there’s an absolutely absurd amount of crying. And Morgan and Grace have gas masks somehow. I’d say I’d like an explanation for that, but then again I really don’t want a flashback scene with more crying. And the characters appear to be getting dumber and dumber. In the first episode, Will doesn’t shoot Strand when it’s extremely obvious that he can’t be trusted. And Morgan announces that he wants to leave the submarine, and Grace asks why. Can you take a guess Grace??? Maybe he wants to leave the deadly radiation zone?
This is by far the worst season so far. I don’t know if I’ll watch it all.
