Hey all, i have a dry skin so my eyelids are irritated too. I have a trouble finding a good eye cream that will not irritate my skin and get scratchy. If you have any recommendations, please give.
Btw. With this cream i also feel not comfy around eyes.
I have been using retinol for a year now (0.1%) had good benefits but not great. I really want to take it to the next level but I’m not sure where to look next. I struggle with hormonal acne and premature wrinkles, I have dehydrated skin but has improved with skincare. I hear a lot about differin on this sub but don’t really understand it. Is it a retinol? Should I look to go up to a 0.2% retinol or change to differin? I don’t want to use tret for at least another year or so. Thank you!
Hello! Next semester I am studying abroad in Prague, and was wanting to see if I should stock up on Redken shampoo and conditioner before I leave. I have searched this page and googled, and I cannot find if redken products will be easily accessible or not. So, if you live in Prague, is redken a widely seen brand? I appreciate the help!!
What the title says. And what do you think of these clinics that remove them for you? I don't know any here where I live (northern Spain). There is always this controversy of removing causing or not more blemishes.
Here martin josso claims mexoryl 400 is not yellow However as we all know uvmune 400 leaves yellow cast on more pink/neutral/cold skintones And my question is- is mexoryl 400 is really no yellow? Is this yellow cast comes from mexoryl 400 even though loreal claims it does not leaves yellow cast Or it comes from increasing % of other uv filters What are your thoughts?
Hey,
I'm looking to experiment with different products and routines to address my oily dehydrated skin. My face gets really shiny and greasy by midday, even if I skip moisturizer in the morning, and I'm not sure how to manage it. Are there any ingredients or specific products you’d recommend that might help with this?
Here's my current routine:
Morning: Wash face with water
Evening: SoonJung pH 6.5 Whip Cleanser, G&G Hydration Station
I'm moving to Spain soon (24F) and would love some recommendations. I'm not happy with my skincare as I noticed my skin is not improving much. I have combination skin - really oily on the T-zone but very dry, with dry patches everywhere else, a lot of discoloration on the chin and nose, as well as some discoloration where I get acne.
My current skicare routine is:
Morning: Garnier Micellar Water, La Roche-Posay Vit C Serum, Bioderma Hydrabio Serum and LRP Anthelios Sunscreen
Night: Bioderma Sébium Gel Cleanser, LRP Niacinamide Serum and Bioderma Cicabio Creme.
Any tips or products that would help are appreciated!
As mentioned in the title, I have acne-prone skin, and I am looking for a daytime moisturizer that has a mattifying effect, preferably no oil, silicone, etc. I have some acne scars and redness as well.
My pores feel clogged very easily. I am a male and don't wear makeup or anything.
I would like to hear your recommendations as I have seen a lot of great insight on this sub while researching products. Thank you!
How much amount will i put?
Dutchies and Belgians can go nuts at Kruidvat! Too bad the viral beauty of joseon spf isn’t sold (yet).
I’m a 24-year-old with very oily skin, large pores, and occasional imperfections that tend to leave scars. I’d like to gradually incorporate anti-aging ingredients into my routine. My goal is to keep it minimal, ideally adding products that can address multiple concerns at once. After using certain products for a while, I feel like they stop being effective—especially creams for oily skin. Is this a common issue?
Here’s my current routine. I’d really appreciate any advice or product recommendations! 1. Cleanser: Skinfirst Delicate Face Wash. 2. Toner: A gentle revitalizing and purifying toner from my local pharmacy. 3. Serum: Afrodita Niacinamide fluid. 4. Moisturizer: A purifying face cream (also from my pharmacy) intended to regulate oil, but I’m not a fan. If you have any alternative suggestions, how to use it I would be happy.
Evening Routine: I double cleanse with either an oil cleanser or micellar water (depending on if I’m wearing makeup), then follow the same routine as in the morning.
Somehow its body lotion smells too off unlike the facial lotion and body oil which smell the same despite of the renewal/reformulation. Do you enjoy it as always ?
Hello,
I am 52F, my skin tends to be oily, visible pores and I’ve been breaking out around my nose and chin—likely hormone-related.
I used the Avene RetrinAL intensive cream for years and I’m wondering what are some European equivalents (I heard Avene discontinued the night peeling cream here?).
I use Elta MD UV clear SPF 46 sunscreen and really like it but I know the European pharmacy brands make excellent sunscreens.
Also, any recommendations for good oil free tinted moisturizer or lightweight coverage foundations/BB/CC creams?
Thank you!
I’m traveling to Rome in April and wanted to stop by a spa for lip filler while on my trip. The prices are a fraction of what they cost here in the U.S. and I’m particularly interested in a product called Ellanse. Any med spa recommendations or doctor recommendations? Thank you!
Hello,
For a while I’m using Avene Xeracalm Cream and I like how it makes my skin soft and supple. Only downside is it has a white cast, if I rub it well it disappears but it is kind of annoying. I was curious about Baume version, does it have a whitecast? Does it mousturize as well as cream?
Any thoughts on this moisturiser? Having extremely dry and itchy skin. I was using avene cicalfate but find my skin is so dry
How to layer following face products for pimple prone , oily T zone, combination skin?
what to apply as morning routine and night routine?
Current routine:
Morning:
Night:
Please help.
Hi. I am fairly new to skincare. Have only been doing anything regularly to my skin the last year or two. I really easily get reactions to skincareproducts, with eyes feeling sore and warm after. For a while i could use la roche posay products, but after a while, i started reacting to that as well. The only products i know i can use now is Cerave, Dr Dennis Gross, Elemis and Noon. Cerave unfortunately is not doing enough when the air is dry, and the others are really expensive. Does anyone have recomendations on brands that might work for my skin that are a bit more affortable than Dr Dennis Gross, Elemis and Noon? I live in scandinavia I am 40 yo if that matters
Any tips for a smooth transition?
Hey everyone! My skin is feeling drier now that the colder months are here, and I’m looking to add more hydration. Here’s my current routine:
Skin type: Sensitive, combination, and acne-prone.
Products I tried recently that did not work: La Roche Cicaplast Baume, COSRX snail mucin, CeraVe Moisturizing Cream.
Any suggestions for hydrating products that won’t clog pores or cause irritation? Would love to hear what’s worked for you in the winter months! Thanks in advance 😊
I react badly to tretinoin and niacinimide, which sucks because those are apparently the best things to solve my issues. I’ve got acne scarring, redness, combo skin (I think it’s a damaged barrier because if I blot there’s no oil but it sometimes looks greasy), lots of sebum buildup and closed comedomes. I occasionally get cystic acne. Lots of little red bumps on my forehead and fine lines in forehead too.
I tried the LRP effaclar foaming gel cleanser and the effaclar duo+m cream but they made my skin worse.
I’ve switched to just using the Auchan generic gel cleanser (cosmia), avene cleanance mattifying emulsion, and added in pure&care snail serum. LRP anthelios melt in milk 60spf in the morning. I use bioderma sensitive skin micellar water if I’ve worn SPF/makeup before my standard cleanser.
Avène products seem to not give me the chemical burns/redness/angry pimples that many other products do but I’m still having a very uneven skin tone and chin acne. I don’t think it helps that I have to pluck my chin hairs every day and it may be causing trauma to the area? Peeling in that area too. Redness around nostrils..
I’m in France, thanks
EDIT: I also wash my pillowcase weekly and try to avoid resting my head in my hands
Hey everyone,
I’ve been using retinoids for the past three years. I started with the lowest % one from CosrX (Asian Beauty), but my skin was shedding like crazy. Then I opted for Geek & Gorgeous Retinal (haven’t seen any changes, so I doubted its effectiveness), I went to CeraVE (which seemed shady after doing a bit of research), and now I’m using Beauty of Joseon retinal & ginseng eye serum all over my face. This one feels nice, I haven’t had any issues, my skin looks better than it did with GG retinal, however the retinal dose is sooo low, and I fear it’s not effective. I’d like to go for a good EU retinoid - but which one? I initially wanted one from LRP, but I’ve seen a lot of people commenting against it and its packaging. I’m in my 30’s and I have mixed skin.
Hello, Im on holidays in Malta. Do you recommend any cosmetics to buy and place where are best offers? I saw isdin ad so omw to buy their sunscreen
What’s the strongest sunscreen out right now for body and face separately. I use LRP uvmune 400 oil control fluid and P20 Kids.
The LRP uvmune is my favorite for my face and it’s incredible. I like the P20 Kids but it kinda feels greasy.
Does anyone have any other recommendations? I work in the sun all day so I need something with extreme protection.
Hi! So i’m pretty new to all this skincare stuff i’m trying to get rid of acne and acne scars even if it’s not that much… I read online that you shouldn’t mix nicinamide and HA so should i use my two serums in two different days or what? sorry if im ignorant im trying to learn
