When he says “saw it in a movie!”
Jeff Daniels, playing Harry Dunn:
"AAaaaaAaaahhaaAAAahh"
Le epic film UwU
Rewatching Dumb and Dumber, and in the beginning when they hear the knock on the door after acquiring the suitcase, harri says something like “two people one of them has a gun!” And Lloyd goes “did you forget to pay the gas bill?! Do you realize what you’ve done!!??” And that was probably the funniest joke of 1994 😂😂😂😂
Once, there was Lloyd who, got into an accident and lost his job, and when, he told Harry,
They, would, drive away to Aspen.
They couldn't quite explain it, they got all confused about it.

Once, there was this guy who, kidnapped somebody's husband, and held him for random, but Mary, dropped the briefcase, they saw, the wrong guy grab it and run.
they couldn't quite explain it, they had a hidden agenda.
Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm
Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm
And then, there was a trucker who, had a bad attitude, and got hit by a salt shaker.
but when, he pissed off Harry and Lloyd
He saw, them rack up their restaurant bill.
they couldn't quite explain it, there was a miscommunication.

any other ideas for parody lyrics?
I came up with some lyrics based on the movie the original song itself was featured in, and thought I might share them fans of the movie with Harry & Lloyd in it.
My answer: Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm by Crash Test Dummies. It's the sad song you hear about finding out bad disasters that stop people from going to school, or embarrassment about birthmarks as a reason to refuse to go into a locker room, or a churchgoer who finds out others are lurching on the church floor as some moment of humiliation or something like that.
But I do also like Crash by The Primitives. I ask this because well, when I saw the AVGN episode about Crash Dummies, these two songs were parodied in it. And I noticed that two songs in it were both from the same movie, that being Dumb & Dumber.
This type of comparison is the kind that gives me the /r/connectasong type vibe.
I love how the Angry Video Game Nerd did some clever wordplay by attempting to play a cassette tape of an album by the band Crash Test Dummies on a Commodore 64 datasette module, and well, the word datasette is not only a portmanteau of data and cassette, but it's also a sensational misspelling of data set. Wordplay really makes things awesome!
To summarize, there was The Incredible Crash Dummies toys of the 90s which had some video game spinoffs, then a band called Crash Test Dummies which was mistaken to be a C64 copy of the Crash Dummies video game, and they had a song from the movie Dumb and Dumber, and there was also the song Crash by The Primitives that was also from Dumb & Dumber.
In some ways, AVGN's use of wordplay about crash dummies in his episode is similar to discovering that Marie is Suzanne Somers' middle name, since there's a city called Sault Ste. Marie in Michigan people go to during the summer. Sue for Suzanne, and Soo for Sault Ste. Marie, "Soo" as a pronunciation for the short form of both, but I just thought I'd point that out as a similar scenario of wordplay, but I don't wanna get too off-topic with that one.
My sister and I were cracking up in conversation this evening by using Dumb and Dumber quotes as we always do. I instinctively said “Aw.. that’s sad.” but I cannot remember for sure if it’s in D&D. I feel like I can vividly remember Lloyd saying it at some point, and the scripts online are of no help.
Am I losing my mind here, or did he say that somewhere in the movie? It’s driving me crazy!
