NSFW images are allowed currently, as long as it's marked NSFW. Posts not marked may be removed if there's a reason to. If this becomes an issue the permission will be revoked. That being said, no gore or other blatantly disturbing content is allowed.
No advertising of anything unrelated to this subreddit. Advertising your monsters or resources is fine.
All users have free use of EVERYTHING on this subreddit. If you do not want your monsters used, do not post here. Any posts with copyrights, trademarks, or other sharing protections will be removed. Please report this as you see it.
Monster creation questions must ask about a certain concept of creation i.e. asking "anyone have good monster ideas?" is not sufficient. Please be as specific as possible!

Looking for some kind of evil swamp lich or something as a BBEG.
I’m putting together a campaign setting and centered around a swamp/bog/marshland. I imagine it animating poisonous plant life, reanimating the dead, now with plant powers or something, and controlling the more “bad” animals. It’s wanting the swamp to kill the town that profits from it.
Anything like that already in existence?

Need help statting this monster
I got this monster from bestarium miniatures as part of my membership and they didn’t provide stats for it. I got it printed and mostly painted but I’m falling short statting this thing. It supposed to be some kind of angel but I’m using it as an aberration, I was thinking of using a beholder since all the eyes but I’m not sure if I want lean too hard on that. I was thinking one of its abilities was to break the will of something’s form kind of like mahito from jujutsu kaisen. Does anyone know of any alien and otherworldly ideas that can assist with this?

What types of attacks should this rival party have when fighting my level 2-3 adventurers?
The party:
A Large werespider (Human with pendant)
a medium werewolf (Elf with Pendant)
a Duergar male
a Duergar female
an earth Genasi female
Their quest: Retrieve a macguffin as it falls from the sky in the middle of a festival.
The lycanthropes will be easy for me, rip off the pendant protecting from transformation and jump into battle.
The others should probably resemble DND classes, excluding cleric and paladin. What should their attacks look like?

Need help with ideas for a disease-based cult summoning a rat king-based monster (not a rat that is a king, a rat king, as in rats' tails, are tied together). I've been thinking of a snake/centipede or rats tied together, all functioning under one diseased spirit.
This is a new campaign and I need them to fear what's ahead
