Welcome to /r/DittoGiveaway! I am busy updating the subreddit to support Generation 8 Pokémon Sword & Shield and Pokémon Home. For ease of use (and my own sanity), I will only be updating for and sending in Gen 8. I have my shiny blue blobs in Home and I'm almost ready to go!

There are several changes to the overall look of the subreddit as well as the rules. Fewer rules! Horray! I know a lot of people are mobile only so please let me know if you are having any trouble with the subreddit.

/r/DittoGiveaway is focused on hosting giveaways of Dittos used for breeding in GEN 8 Pokemon Sword and Shield! This means we do not have individual request posts for Dittos. You must wait for someone to host a giveaway to comment.

##Request Form Explanation

• IGN: In-Game Name, also known as OT or your trainer name. This is the name you gave to your trainer when you started the game, NOT your 3DS name.

• FC: Your 3DS/2DS/N3DS Friend Code.

• Pokemon, Gender, Level: The Pokemon you deposited to the GTS, and its Gender and Level.

###About the Dittos

• These Dittos are hacked (but legal) and cloned, however the offspring you breed with them will be legit, unless the other parent has illegal traits.

• These Dittos will not hurt your game in any way and can be traded and transferred in and out of Pokebank without any problems.

• Do not trade the Dittos at /r/pokemontrades! You can trade the offspring however, as long as the parent does not pass on illegal traits.

Welcome to /r/DittoGiveaway! I am happy to report that the subreddit is open once again. There has been an update to the overall look of the subreddit as well as the rules. Please be sure to read this Mod Post, the wiki, and the sidebar before participating.

/r/DittoGiveaway is focused on hosting giveaways of Dittos and held items used for breeding. Future possibilities include allowing Flame Body & Magma Armor Pokémon to help with hatching eggs.

##Subreddit Rules

###Rule 1: Ditto Giveaways Only. Ditto is love.

All Giveaways must be Ditto. Approved held items only.

The original post should state [Gen 6] or [Gen 7], number of Ditto to give away, Ditto nature, IVs, OT/TID, and duration of your giveaway. Please have at least 20 Ditto minimum on hand for each giveaway.

Do not use GTS for anything else while you have an open request.

• Do not withdraw your Pokémon once you have opened a request.

Why does this rule exist?

Having multiple entries across subreddits and/or other giveaways prevents the hosts from sending your Ditto. One of the hosts will be "Sniped" by the other host. This wastes the valuable time of many people; the giveaway hosts, the Moderators, the other giveaway participants, and you! It's not good for anyone. You must wait until you are not entered into another giveaway to participate.

DittoGiveaway has the right to prevent your participation if we feel you have received more than enough Dittos and/or Items. Remember, we are giving gifts. No one is obligated or entitled to use our services.

###Rule 5: No Trading

Do not trade the Dittos or Items you receive here.

• All Dittos distributed on /r/DittoGiveaway are [hacked] and [cloned].
• The offspring you breed with them are considered legit, unless the other parent has illegal traits.
• These Dittos will not hurt your game in any way and can be transferred through Pokémon Bank without any problems.
