I dunno if this is just happening to me or other people, but I've been getting a lot of scam messages and spam comments recently. I'll get a comment on my profile or on one of my deviations just for it to be a long ass comment of random youtube videos. I keep getting notes from new-ish accounts, that have 0 watchers and 0 deviations, with the same message over and over every now and again, such as-

"I’ll like you to draw a picture of my son’s pet went through your page and I think I just fell in love with your art work I want you to draw a picture of his pet which will have his name written lol willing to pay you."

"Hey, we run an art contest every 2 weeks. Prizes are: $100 for the 1st place, 2nd = $30, and 3rd = $15. Just post an art and you'll participate, it's easy! - no contest theme, so you can use any artworks to participate. More info: -" (It gets followed up with a link)

"Hi! We loved your work! GLU Mobile is inviting you to collaborate in creating characters for our game “Disney Sorcerer's Arena”. All information -" (It gets followed up with a link)

"Tаke2gаmes Inc. is inviting you to сollаborаte in thе рrоjесt GTА VI -" (It gets followed up with a link)

and lastely

"Hey, I really like your gallery and would love to use it as an inspiration muses for an art work I’m working on for a client, you’ll be getting paid and credit."

The last one doesn't seem bad, but these are all messages I've gotten from multiple accounts multiple times. I'm getting so tired of these. T0T I can't be the only one this is happening to, right?

Every now and then my sister and I reminisce about the Akira AMV to MSI's song Bring the Pain. The username was RedMongoose and it was uploaded in the early 2000's. We have tried just a Google search with no success but figured why not try reddit :)

I started posting stuff on DeviantArt a week ago, I am mostly doing Daz renders.
Is there an option to give subscribers the option to download the full resolution of your images, without hiding them altogether from non-subscribers, who only get to display the image in ~50% resolution?
I tried creating a tip jar, added several of my images to it, but they automatically became invisible to non-subscribers, so I deleted it.
I don't want to lock anything I do behind paywalls, I am only interested in getting a few extra bucks that I can use on Daz assets, while giving people who support me the little bit of extra image quality.

Okay since the last update The deviantart app on my phone isn't loading up any pictures. Is everyone else having this problem.

I recently deactivated an old account I have, but now I can not go to sign in or make another account and am very frustrated. i cannot manually log out as when I go to settings it takes me to a page saying this account has been deactivated! What do I do? I am very frustrated.

Hi. Sort of dA related, sort of not. If not allowed, please feel free to delete. Years ago, I had a best friend that I knew through dA, username was Spectralmerc. We chatted for years and became very close, added each other on social media and Skype and would have video chats and all sorts. Life got busy on my end, and presumably his too… attempts to contact on socials have been unsuccessful. Just wondering if anyone knew if he was still active (can’t log in on mobile data for some reason) or could somehow float the message out there that I miss him and would love to hear from him again.

I can't find groups in the group pages on DeviantArt. What has happened to them?

Hello. I am an artist and I am thinking about returning to DevianArt to post art. I already have Pinterest for inspiration/references and ArtStation for my portfolio but I am think either DevianArt or Tumblr/Newgrounds for looking at different kinds of art and to build a online presence, I have stopped with Twitter because of bots and similar stuff. What do you think, considering all of the controversies around DevianArt lately.

I was logged in deviantart via social media login(Google) , I was able to stay signed, whenever I opened deviantart in the browser I was already logged in. So then I cleared all the cookies one day, naturally I got logged out of all the websites that I was logged into including deviantart. Now I logged back to deviantart and I find that after I close the browser and reopen I am logged out of the account.I have to relogin again using my Google account. This does not happen with any other websites. I created a new account with another Google account to test if it was account specific. I was able to stay logged in after the very first login, then I logged out, logged in again and I again find that I keep getting logged out after every time I close the browser.

So there was no issue for the first login after signup or for a login which existed sometimes before(probably before this bug showed up) , if one log out of that and try to log in again the website requires a new login everytime we open the website.

This is what I observed, if anyone is using Google account to login , can you be kind enough to confirm this??

This is not happening if you have a username and password to sign in.

It is happening in chrome, edge and firefox. So if anyone is using these browsers and using their Google account for login can you please try it and say if it's happening for you. I just want to know if this is specific to me.

It seems DeviantART is balantly defending and favouring AI artwork by making people use their crappy DreamUp tool instead of promoting real human artists. I was so pissed off and annoyed and decided to comment in disgust regarding more of this BS again.

However, their team caught wind of this and outright threatened me a ban if I keep sending harsh criticism against artists who just lazily use the DreamUp AI tool. I am deeply furstrated and angry about this. If dA is going to treat real human artists like utter trash. I will move to a another site such as pixiv. dA's obsession with AI needs to end right now.

I had an image removed after it received 2 violations. The first was for not having a maturity rating, so they added that. Then the next day it was removed for sexual theme. They seem awfully confused.

I just wonder where else people prefer to showcase their adulty stuff these days where perhaps the policies are more clear. Thanks and if you want to see my stuff.
