For Democrats who are neutral and unbiased people, and do not have the strong pro-establishment, pro-current-Democratic-Party-leadership bias of the corrupted democrats subreddit. This is not the place for redditors who wish to silence those who do not support the DNC. We are dedicated to fighting against the neo-liberal "third way" Democrats and the extremist right-wing agenda of the Trump Administration and Congressional Republicans.

The Democratic Party is a Weak, Feckless Organization Bought Off by Corporations

The DP cannot be trusted to put up a real fight against the Republicans because it is compromised by the same corporate interests they are.

Proof: The way the party (mis)treats its progressives, e.g., Sanders, Warren, the Squad, etc.

The DP has no focus, no ideology, no values beyond winning elections while Republicans stand united around core values and a coherent strategy for achieving change.

Expecting the Dems to save us is hopeless.

Abolish the electoral college?

So back in the day there was no logistical way to count every vote so they appointed representatives. States with less population can still be heard, I get that. There are many red states where Americans just donā€™t vote bc they know it doesnā€™t matter. Even blue states, apathetic blue voters donā€™t bother. In a true democracy where every vote counts and the winner of the popular vote is president, wouldnā€™t the democrats crush the republicans every time? Also in an attempt to establish bipartisanship, why not go back to the runner up being Vice President? Iā€™m looking for all perspectives. Be kind.

If it were a man...

If we had put up a man we would have had a chance of winning, right? It's not that America isn't ready for a non-white president. That has been done, but it was a man. America is not ready for a woman. Trump beat a woman twice. The fact that he was even allowed to run this time is mind boggling but that isn't the point. It's because we didn't have a man running. Is that the takeaway? I mean, what in the actual...
