Rules

R1: Only "Damnthatsinteresting" content

This subreddit is for things that are interesting and cool. Content that is only cute, funny, a meme, or 'mildly interesting' will be removed.

Posts should be able to elicit a reaction of "Damnthatsinteresting". Posts not deemed DTI may be removed at mod discretion.

R2: Use descriptive titles

If you title your post anything like "You won't believe ____!" or "27 things to do before you die!" it will be removed. Titles must be descriptive of the content, or they will be removed.

R3: No racism, bigotry, or hate speech

Racism, hate speech, bigotry, and incivility will be removed and the poster will be banned. Other variations of rude or unkind comments will also be removed.

R4: No screenshots/memes/infographics

Content must be interesting on its own. Posts that are not direct links to images/videos may be removed.

R5: Moderator discretion- no politics or promotions

Posts are at the discretion of the moderators. If we do not believe it to be interesting, is inappropriate, political, or is spam, we will remove it. Spam includes, but is not limited to, self-promo, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and more.

R6: No reposts

Posts that the moderators deem to be common reposts will be removed.

R7: Posts making claims must be sourced in comments at time of posting

Image with text posts/claims in the title must have a linked and credible source that backs up the information. Use the word "source" in your comment.

If the title is the only thing that makes your post interesting, you must also source it. OP is responsible for this and it must be done at time of posting.
