there’s too much talk about “plugins” and “usbs” so i’m going to give this up im confused
Hi everyone,
I’m a techno DJ from Spain, and I’ve recently moved to the UK. I’m currently living close to London and looking to break into the local scene, but I’m finding it really tough to get gigs or connect with the right people.
Back home in Madrid, I was actively involved in the underground scene. Now, I’m starting fresh here and would really appreciate any leads, advice, or tips on how to get noticed or land a spot at events or clubs around London and the surrounding areas.
Are there any specific venues, promoters, or communities I should reach out to? I’d love to collaborate or even just attend the right parties to network with like-minded people.
Thanks so much for any help you can offer. Looking forward to getting involved in the UK scene!
Hello legends,
With all the tech at our fingertips I sometimes feel like my brain is melting from ideas and possibilities... The most urgent one: I got a gig in a bar known for their super chad homophobe frat boy clientele on Friday. Can anyone of you do their magic on Donna Summer's "Hot Stuff" so she says "Butt Stuff" in the chorus? Everything else can stay the same. I've tried with a sampler but I couldn't quite get it smooth enough...
Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!
