First finished project from start to finish and first time following a wearable pattern! 🥰
I saw the dress and figured I could try and make it! Mistakes weremade but it looks fine and daughter is happy!
For context, I (19 F) learned how to crochet a few months ago, from my nanny and my grandmother, I felt a connection with them when I started, and when I told my family they supported me, the first thing I did was a cute frog for my sister. When my mother saw it she asked me for one, so one day my mom went to a party from my stepfather's family. He has this gorgeous and well-behaved girl that I barely know but I love her as she is my new cousin. Still, when my mom saw that this girl wanted the frog that I made for her she gave it to her, when she told me when she came back I cried all night because I put so much effort and love to that small little frog. I demanded her the next morning to take it back because it was a gift for her, not for that little girl, and she got mad at me, so AITA?
Cute little canna leaf and basket. Freestyle for basket with shells and front posts using all double crochet stitches. Leaf was modified from a pattern gifted to me - originally from @ mandamoon crochet I believe on Instagram from Etsy. It was many years ago. Size 4 clover hook. I'm considering doing a YouTube tutorial for the leaf eventually. I skipped the single crochets into the middle of the magic ring and went right into the first leaf segment. Acrylic yarn.
This may be dumb but why not 5, 7 or 9? Is it because even numbers are more practical when adding legs to amigurumi etc? If i did 7 single crochets as a start how would a piece differ from 6 or 8?
Using up the rest of this ombré super saver ball, gonna make some more in another earth tone ombré too! Haven’t decided what to turn them into yet 🤔
I'm considering making a whole crochet sandwich!
I made it in two days!
It worked up super quick and I’m really happy with the gradient. I used Rave Big Twist in the color Unicorn and I extended the gradient by cutting and joining at the transitions.
Rabbit lovey that worked up quickly and that I hated the sight of the longer I looked at it. I remembered that people say this all the time on this sub and their project always is so cute. So I trusted that I was too close and gifted it anyway. Mom-to-Be loved it anyway.
Is this Hexagon Granny Square also the same as the African Flower Hexagon?
Here’s the tutorial I followed: https://youtu.be/92gVmixmCC0?si=bjOHF7UTOeZLjQr5
I'm very very new to crochet and I've been so overwhelmed with all the cute and cool things out there you guys have been making. I just love some of the purse patterns I've come across so decided to give it a try (my only experience is a few woobles). This took me about 3 days. I made a plethora of mistakes but I'm so proud of how it turned out 😅
He’s a little wonky but I’ve never picked up a crochet hook before this so I’m very proud of him. I’m open to criticism!
Don't know the yarn name but it came from Hobbii
First time crocheter. I had a lot of fun making these, especially figuring out bitty baby Fred. Definitely have to work on my tension, but they still came out adorable!
Vitamin water for scale. Finished a giant worm for my boyfriend who loves worms :) (unfortunately ran out of that dark pink color & was fighting for my life but I think it still turned out nice) pattern by wowitscrocheted !
