I have passkeys set up on certain sites. Can I drop the 2FA feature for them?
Recently and suddenly 90% of my icons have been changed to a generic symbol and not in the places on the screen originally set. The name of the link remains and it still works, but it's a complete nuisance. I've tried various remedies I found, but none seem to work. I use the Edge browser and I would appreciate suggestions. I'd rather not call Geek Squad if I didn't have to.
Can I use the same USB for different hard drives of the operating systems I create with Hyper-V? And what I mean is to make a partition on my USB that allows me to have more than one Hyper-V hard drive on the same USB.

Anyone know why there's such fluctuating transfer rates on this? I'm transferring about 162G from an internal HD to external but that 132 is where I peaked and as you can see sometimes it was down to like 10!
My theory is the transfer rate is determined by what files it's moving around. Maybe the computer sees some files as easy to handle and others as hard, I don't know! I'm curious though.
Compre una key de Office 2021, pero no logro encontrar el instalador, todo me lleva al 365
Hi! I'm studying computing science at university and I have to do a survey for my honours, it would help me so much if you spent a little bit of time to do it!
I have the Incogni program operating to supposedly block personal data trading. I just acquired Norton's Anti-tracking service and it seems to me that there is an overlap. Much of the terminology is "over my head". Do I realistically need both? If not, which one to drop? I'm so confused!!
Hey guys
I could be in the middle of a game or be watching a movie on my computer and suddenly both of my monitors will go black and appear to go into standby mode and the fans on my computer start to spin faster. I have tried to find the cause on event manager but all it tells me is that my system unexpectedly has lost power as the only option I have at the time is to hold in the power button until it turns off
Any idea what I can do or try to fix this
I'm planning on building a new pc pretty soon and am sure about all of the compontents except for the motherboard. It's supposed to be a mini ITX build with the Ryzen 7 7700. My issue lies in deciding between the ASRock A620I Lightning Wifi (145 Euros where I live) or the B650I Lightning Wifi (170 Euros), also from ASRock. The only drifferences between the boards are 2 extra USB ports on the latter, which I don't need, and the B650 allowing me to overclock my CPU, whereas the A620 won't. I'll be using the Noctua NH-L9A_AM5, which is a low form factor CPU air cooler with one fan. My question is, are the extra 25 Euros of the B650 worth it to be able to overclock my CPU and will my cooler be able to handle it?
Thanks for any replies in advance.
I recently bought a Latitude 9510 with the 52 WHr battery with a view to upgrading to the 88 WHr battery. I bought one used, which was totally worn, could hardly keep its charge, but made the laptop spasm and couldn't really boot up without serious trackpad causing it to shut down. The batteries are different voltages (~11V vs ~14V), but the Dell website says they're both compatible with my serial number. Could the spasms be a symptom of a dodgy battery or is it more likely that is not compatible and making components act up because of the wrong input voltage?
Does anyone have any experience with this? Dell sells new, genuine batteries on its website, albeit at a high price, and if there's a decent chance of it working I would go ahead and buy one.
Hi, I recently got admitted to an engineering college in a India (E&C dept). Needed help to understand which laptop to buy:
Would be ideal if it is 50-70k.
So I’m looking for the or type of this old HDD. I’m trying to find a suitable case to make it in to an external HDD.
1)what is the name of these type of HDD’s? 2)what casing should I use to make it into an external HDD? 3)what are the settings regarding master/slave/cableselect or jumper setting?
Thanks!

Back in the old days, there were PC power supplies that had an extra 3 pin OUTput connector to power a monitor as well.
Do they still exist? I can't find any.
Do you know why they are not common anymore?
Back in the day when Intel and AMD had legit competitors, what if any of them got money and survived, would any architectures have delievered better chips? Would the current desktop chip landscape be different?
I encountered a view that the x86 architecture was the worst yet became the standard (for a time). Wondering how true that is.
Feel free to discuss anything related to this topic. I also wonder if we can draw parallels from those days and ours.
These last days, i got a lot of shutdown from my 1080 Gygabite GTX, 650W Gold U Corsair, B450MSI with 32go Corsair Ram.
I don't know if the power station is implied, or more the graphic card ; i think it must be one of these two, cause when i underclock my graphic card, shutdowns comes less often.
Maybe it has something to do with cpu, with temperature ? Or I don't know. Maximum heat my computer recorded before every shutdown was 55°, which is not a lot.
Does someone have an idea what's happening in my computer ?
I was given a decommissioned laptop from my workplace. It needs me to purchase/install a new hard drive. I’m not really sure what I should be buying, SSD, HHD? How do I ensure I get a compatible component? Any help very much appreciated.
What would I have to do to make an effective quaterit (quaternary digit). I already have an understanding of the base 4 numerical system and even thought of how it could be used but from all the research I have done, something like that would be quite unreliable. So does anyone know any ways or hypothetical things to do to make a working quaterit. Because my end goal with this is idea is to make a Base 10 storage unit since everyone understands Base 10
