My Dell G15 has this black plastic thing in the charger port it got out when I

FIXED: It appears that sync between Intel UHD Graphics driver and Dell BIOS is the key.
After trying reasonable suggestions (BIOS settings, power settings, c-states, battery driver update etc..) for a month, no luck.
User "AlmostPro" mentioned following combination worked for him in Battery not charging after updating to W11 | Page 4 | DELL Technologies
- BIOS version 1.13.0, Intel(R) UHD Graphics version 30.0.100.9955,
Last night, I did clean install of Intel® 7th-10th Gen Processor Graphics - Windows*.
BIOS Version/Date Dell Inc. 1.32.0, 9/10/2024, UHD Graphics Version/Date 31.0.101.2130, 9/3/2024
No restarts, no charging issue this morning upon leaving the system for whole night idle.
Definitely not a Hardware issue, not sure why DELL replacing motherboards for under warranty laptops.
My G15 Specs are: I5 13450HX, RTX 3050 6 GB, 16 GB DDR5 RAM, and 512GB storage.
The issue is that when I try to start my laptop without plugging it in, it tends to crash after 2 -3 minutes. When connected, it works fine, but the thermals do randomly go up to 55 - 65 Degrees Fahrenheit when idle.
When I unplug it after starting, it works fine and the temperature drops to 45- 50 Degrees. The only issue is when I turn it up unplugged it's getting crashed and the CPU temperature goes up even if there's no task running in the background and the preset is always on Performance mode. If I Change it to balanced, silent or battery mode, it goes up to 70-75 degrees Celsius. Is there anything that I can do to sort out the issue??
Having trouble with my Dell Precision 5570 not turning on- screen will flash white and the logo shows, but then it quickly goes black. Can anybody help me?
So I ordered an R16 on Black Friday and it initially said it was going to be delivered today, making it to a near-ish shipping hub. When I checked tracking a few minutes ago, the status had suddenly changed to "Carrier Delay". However, the actual delivery tracker indicates that "We've received a request from the sender to return the package."
A google search indicates that this has happened to other people but doesn't yield any information about a resolution. Has anyone experienced this? Anyone know what this might mean?

I am trying to figure out how this works - maybe I am missing something obvious:
I have a computer with (3) U3223QU monitors - the remote computer [across our VPN] is another computer with (2) U3223QE monitors - both computers are running W11 and Dell Precision workstations. I can create the cluster between the computers - that works fine:
But here is where I am missing something:
How do I switch the video so I can see the remote display? I guess I would expect to the display of the remote computer on my local monitors. I know it is hard to explain - all of the examples I have seen are with single monitors where the display is split on the single monitor, not with multiple monitors.
Tried connecting Switch to Dell P2217H monitor with HDMI cable, cable works and monitor is able to connect to my laptop with same HDMI cable, but says no input when connecting it to the Switch.
I've had my dell inspiron 16 plus (7640) (32gb ram, intel ultra 7 155H, RTX 4060, 2TB ssd) for a few months now and its been alright so far apart from the windows freezing and crashing. It happens once in a while, and you have to do a hard power off( pressing the power button for 10s) for it to turn off as well. Its pretty annoying because once you turn it on again, everythings gone. My workload is definately not much compared to the specs. Can someone tell me what could possibly be the fix for this.
Inspron 16 7620 I never use this as a tablet but recently when I open it, it's in tablet mode. I have to close it and open it and eventually it goes back to landscape. Restart doesn't fix it. I have the extended warranty because the touchpad died twice during 1st year. Is this something I should call them about or is there an easy key command I'm missing?
Thx
Just got a new desktop from Dell in their pre-black friday sale. It's the aurora 16 w/ 4080 super. At this point ive only had it in my home 3 or so days. After the first day, i installed a 14 tb hard drive that I used in my old computer, and never had any issues with. Almost immediately after installing it the computer is crashing very VERY frequently, won't open file explorer half the time, and won't restart. It just goes to a black screen and a spinning graphic says it's restarting, but it never does. I can access files in the hd just fine, I think, but only for a little bit.
I saw in the manual that Dell sent that they have caps on hd size. Is that real, and is that my issue? That doesnt make sense to me.
I'm half contemplating returning the entire thing. I built my last computer and it still runs pretty flawlessly, it's just 10 years old now and I was taking the lazy route with a pre-built to get some more speed.
Appreciate any thoughts.
What can i go for max any suggestions??
I bought a Dell laptop from croma, chennai on Dec 28th, 2023 for 60k. Started using it in March 2024. It was not working from day 1. Dell 'tried' repairing it 3 times, once in my home. But the laptop still acts possessed. I paid 10kto croma for extended warranty. I'd strongly recommend not going to croma ever & not buying Dell. Both frauds.
Hello ! I recently bought a G3223Q to connect my PS5 (and later a Mac mini). As this monitor does not come with built in speaker I plan to buy one (Razer Nommo V2 X to be precise). These speakers only have USB and no 3.5 jack. If I connect them directly to my monitor through USB will it work ? For both my PS5 and Mac ? I struggle to find the answer on the Internet. Can someone help me please ? 🙏🏻
$779 CAD
Primary use will be editing 4k GoPro footage and medium-intensity gaming (satisfactory/no man's sky etc).
Hi everyone, I just bought a prebuilt Dell pc from fb marketplace, everything seems fine including gpu’s temps and cpu’s temps during any benchmarks or gaming. I’ve already monitored how is each component working during gaming/benchmark and what I’ve seen I can’t explain, for example Fortnite in the lowest possible settings in 1440p isn’t using more then 70% of gpu/cpu but the amount of random fps drops or freezes makes it unplayable(same in The Finals,OW2 or Elden Ring). I haven’t tried undervolting since there’s no option like this in bios and I don’t think it’s really necessary.Overall performance is just as not as good as it should be. My specs: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 8x2 G-Skill 2166 mHz Samsung nVme 256GB Toshiba 500GB HDD Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!
Is the killer control center holding my laptop hostage?
Why do I keep having to hard restart my chargers to get my laptop to recognize them?
I've replaced the battery, cleaned the fans and the xps15 still wants to not recognize chargers, and act like a potato.
So I traded with someone, I had kpop merch that worth, Let's say for example 100$ (Since all of us have different currency) let's say that's 100$, So I had a Kpop merch about 100$ worth, Photocards and Albums, Someone wanted to trade. And They're willing to trade for a laptop, For only 100$ worth as well, so me a impatient person went for it, The kpop merch I traded were Albums and PC's the thing is I traded those because I didn't use them anymore, I still listen to Kpop but I stopped collecting those, And We have no CD player at home resulting I can't play albums, so It's been stuck in my room for a long time, So I decided to trade it for a laptop, So as I was saying the Laptop was Dell Vostro 1510 Intel core 2 Duo BUT here's the catch, The battery's broken, and you literally can't use it outside your house, You need to plug it in an outlet before using it or else it won't turn on, after you turn it on and remove the Charger of course it'll shut down, it has a battery problem, But anyways just wanna ask is it worth it?
The service tag this laptop is F6ZN163, while on the BIOS setup it is H92QQ73?? How's that possible??
So recently, this 65 watt adapter I have (usb c) isn't working all of a sudden and the light blinks on for about 2-3 seconds before it immediately shuts off, and it won't charge anymore. Any ideas how to fix this?
Does anybody know?

Hello everyone so i was ordering a hard drive for my computer due to mine failing, but when i ordered it from dell it says my payment failed, even though it charged me twice for the damn thing. Along with that every time i track the order it hasn’t moved at all. It says it’s estimated to be here by the fourth so this is concerning me. Am I getting scammed?

I'm getting near my wits end with this system. Earlier this year this laptop started showing signs of slowing down. After testing the original SSD, I saw it was nowhere near where it should have been performing. I put in a new Samsung Evo and reinstalled a fresh copy of Windows 11 on it. It worked fine after this for a while.
Fast forward a few months and the performance is abysmal all around. The system boots up into Windows quick but overall performance is terrible. It just lags and makes me want to fire it into the sun. Web browsing is normal for the most part but anything requiring any amount CPU or SSD is when I notice the lag.
I've done a clean install of Windows 11 a few times, without the bloatware, did all of the Windows Updates and updated the AMD drivers manually and it still behaves the same. One of the more frustrating parts is that it loads Windows up in less than 10 seconds after powering on, it just struggles to do anythng after that.
I've tested the memory, tested the CPU and they are reporting fine. The CPU isn't overheating and the fans are running at a normal speed. For what it's worth it does for some reason seem to take way longer than it should to install Windows, probably closer to an hour to get installed.
If anyone has any ideas or experience with this before I'd appreciate it.
I have two monitors on a video card in my XPS 8960. The first has several different connectors; the second is only HDMI. On my previous Dell XPS, the first one showed the boot logo (and BIOS when needed). But this time it's the second one, which is inconvenient for several reasons - it makes BIOS changes difficult, and breaks at least one program that's supposed to show on the extended Windows desktop but actually shows on the non-boot monitor.
Windows 11 allows designating the primary monitor in extended mode, but that doesn't fix any of the other inconveniences.
Dell XPS 9365. Used multiple cables with the same issue connected to ultrawide alienware monitor (i think 1330p?, sub 4k but higher demand for sure). Anker USBC to HDMI converter, Lention usb hub with HDMI, USBC to HDMI cable Uantin.
The image quality, when it pushes, is "wavey". It's difficult to describe but it's fuzzy it seems like the images are blurring or shifting line by line. Then the image will intermittently cut out. When I push the feed the monitor runs at 50 hz.
This link for my G5 5511 says it supports two drives, but one of the blue warnings also state that I may not be able to add a 2nd drive? Super confusing
I have enabled camera access for chrome and the Instagram app, as well as allowing camera access to apps in the settings, does anyone know how to fix this ?
EDIT: btw it will show my camera for a couple of seconds before turning it off
So I have a Dell laptop and the boot was fine until I reinstalled windows using usb after that it would just get stuck on the Dell logo so I figured it's a boot sequence problem so I restored defaults for bios and then it worked but it's taking like 2 minutes to show the loading icon
Any suggestions?
