I brought back a piece of childhood and made my first Christmas village. 🥹🥰

Sorry for the crappy picture, I wanted to show it off with a video but I guess I can't do that? Haha anyway, I'm happy with it! :) I didn't have a lot of space to work with, I bought some street lights to go with it but I'm not sure how to incorporate that yet.

Looking for faux lollipop

Hey everyone! Growing up my mom had a lollipop Christmas tree similar to this one, however she didn’t use real lollipops to put in the holes, she had Christmas themed faux lollipops, probably made of some sort of ceramic. She no longer has it so I’m not able to check to see the manufacturer. Does anybody know where I can find them?

Also if your wondering, the photo is from a seller on Etsy, named robinsoncrafting

Working Christmas Pyramid made of LEGO bricks - supporters needed <3

Hi everyone, I hope this is allowed here as I need your help as well!

What is a Christmas Pyramid?
’Christmas pyramids are Christmas decorations that have their roots in the folklore and customs of the Ore Mountain region of Germany, but which have become popular internationally. They comprise a decorated pyramidal outer frame with candle holders and a central carousel with a rotor at the top which is driven by warm air from the lit candles.’ (from Wikipedia)

I would like to present to you my Working Christmas Pyramid that I built using LEGO bricks!
I tried to make it as authentic as possible while staying true to the playfulness of LEGO, and I believe it came out to be perfect: it is an ideal display/decoration piece and at the same time it would perfectly fit into any Winter village as well.

It is motorized and can be turned on/off using the LEGO PoweredUp app: the 6 candles light up and the motor turns the rotor which imitates that it is driven by the candles’ warm air.

I also added a cart selling Roasted Chestnuts and some tables just like in a proper Christmas Market.

Overall, this build consists of 2098 parts and it is currently up for support on LEGO Ideas.

Therefore, I would like to ask for your kind help to reach the required 10k supporters: please, if you like this idea, click on the support button on the link below, and PLEASE please please if possible, also leave a comment, as it greatly helps with visibility!

Thank you so much!

Ornament Lifters

So, back in the day we used to have these little motors that plugged into a mini-light string that would raise and lower an ornament. We used to use them to display carousel horse ornaments on our tree and they would move up and down like they were on a carousel. We haven’t seen these in our favorite Christmas stores (The Christmas Loft in Lincoln and North Conway, NH) in a long time but we’re hoping to be able to find some. Does anyone know where I might be able to find them? Or am I totally off my rocker? Thanks for any help!

Anybody have recommendations for a cheaper dupe to the 7.5 ft. Pre-Lit LED Grand Duchess Twinkling Balsam Fir Artificial Christmas Tree from Home Depot?

Christmas Animatronics

Any decent Christmas animatronics out there? Not looking for inflatables or 2D lit decor.

Our house was a hit for Halloween with 4 incredible animatronics and ready to keep it going with some quality Christmas decor.

Suggestions appreciated.

Non-LED pre-lit colored trees?

I’ve been looking for an artificial Christmas trees in stores recently and it feels like they’re all either blinding LED color lights, white lights, or color-changing between the two. Does anyone know where I can find a pre-lit tree with colored lights that aren’t LED?

Nostalgic Christmas light music?

Yall remember that nostalgic Christmas light music in the late 90s? I know you can purchase that online, but are there any other mediums that contain this exact music? Like can I get it in a snow globe or music box and not the lights itself?

What are the best artificial tree brands? We always get live trees but are considering shifting to fake because we're getting old and taking care of a live tree is becoming hard. But if we go fake we want to go best in class. Thank you!

Make lights twinkle

Hello all..it's that time!

I love my pencil but I want the lights to twinkle. Is there a way to do that?

I don't believe these are LED.

I appreciate any suggestions.

Oh no, please help!

I was unspinning my Christmas tree to get the plastic wrap off and when I was done, I noticed the end of the string lights was severed on the ground! Anyone know how to fix this, or do I just need to buy new lights? The one that broke off are the OG lights that came with it a few years ago.
