Honestly I liked the tree better last year, but what do you guys think?
I love a full tree, mostly my grandmotherd ornaments so extra special as she loved Christmas and is no longer here with us. The star goes on on Christmas eve by my fella lifting my son up to place it on top. It's been our Christmas tradition since he was very small.
For all those vintage ornaments that have the delicate gold cord and modern ornaments like Kohl's that have the sheer mesh ribbon... where can I buy something that matches? I keep forgetting to look at Thr various craft stores when I'm there but feel sure someone here might have a product link of what to search for.
Thanks!
Not sure where to post this, but I am looking for a receiver for a GE Nicolas holiday pre-lit tree. Or some possible trouble shooting ideas. The light on the remote turns on when you press a button, so I'm not sure what is happening.
I cut down the same type of tree, used the same decorations, but this year he has a bow!! He doesnβt have a lot of presents yet, but Iβm working on it. I donβt have any family, so Christmas was always painful - but something changed and the past two years I have been VERY INTO THE SEASON! My friendβs Mom invited me to their Christmas dinner this year and I am over the moon. I feel good about life.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, I was very late in putting up my Winter Solstice tree. However, I finally managed to get it done in records timeβ¦total of 11 hours! There are over 250 glass icicles, prisms, and drops; icy pine cones; hundreds of fruits and berries; holly, ivy, and mistletoe, ancient symbols of winter celebrations; and lots of birds, including owls, my late sisterβs favorite thing.
Hello! I am trying to find an artificial tree without hinged branches. My cat loves climbing in the current tree and the hinges break and will not stay up. Iβve taken to rescuing them with fishing wire but some have already broken again. I would like to buy one where the branches cannot break if my cat gets in there (even though I try to keep her away). Iβm fine with having to store it in one big piece since I know the point of the hinges is for it collapse back into the box smaller.
Improvise. Adapt. Overcome.
Itβs our first holiday season in our forever house, and I wanted this year's Christmas tree to be spectacular. The tree is Balsam Hill, (I'm super pleased with the quality btw), and it's decorated with a mix of Hallmark ornaments, some basic/cheapies, and some vintage. You can't really tell from the picture, but the tree itself is very full and voluminous on its own. It would probably still look great even with only a few ornaments, but l'm a maximalist when it comes to Christmas trees lol. I'm thrilled with how it turned out, sol thought I'd share it!
help!!! π₯πΏππ anyone know what this movie could be?????
