Just listened!!! So good and so under-rated. Definitely recommend!!!
So i sadly missed a few good concerts in my country this year (Judas priest and Wolf hearth) and i really want ro go to a big concert and enjoy the music and so i have three options (for now) - Manowar,Gojira, Dream theater amd godsmach. So i haven't listened to Gojira and DT, but as far as I'm aware they don't have anti-christian lyrics. For godsmach I'm not sure because i read that they are wicca which is pretty pagan to me, but because i know that a company will go on the concert I'm kinda 50/50 (I'm an antisocial monster). For Manowar I'm not sure if they are pagan or just using greek and norse mythology to tell stories, something like the classicism painters that drew greek "gods" IDK( and yes i know about the child predator scandal). For dream theater i know they are not Christian, but catholic to wich I'm like...ok? And for Gojira i heard the 2024 Olympics accusations of saitanism, but toe the arguments were kinda week because the showed nothing saitanic in my opinion and it was just a song about the french revolution. So what do you think?
Any blackened thrash/speed bands like Black Leather, Archangel Force, and WildFire? Basically first wave bm sound? (not necessarily Christian btw)
This meme page i follow posted this and idk if he was joking or not but wanted to see if you guys knew what band this was?
When someone happens to catch what I'm listening to I'll say something like "Oh it's Saving Grace, it's a Christian band :) " and their reaction is always 🤨???
I really don't know what's happening. Some time ago i starting having feelings that i should let go of metal music, it stopped a few weeks later but now it returned. People said to me that it was God convicting me from metal and that i should obey. I don't understand why I would need to let go of it, i don't listen to songs with satanic or anti-christian themes. Every time I think about it i just feel a burning in my chest, an anxiety that i should stop listening to it. I know this sub it's not really meant for this, but i think you guys will understand me
Im not sure if its really “metal” but it’s good. Song just came on in my playlist so thought I’d share this classic
I’ve been getting into sludge/stoner recently and want some recommendations
Obviously I hate the lyrics, but the style of death metal they play is pretty good. any Christian bands similar to them?
Does anyone know of any Christian bands that have this style of the first wave of black metal? Like Sarcófago, Hellhammer, Sodom
Coming Spring/Summer 2025 on Roxx Records

so i havent really listened to them too much but so far i like the sound i just want to make sure there christaan becose i saw a reddit post a wail back asking if it whose okay to listen too them as a christan and in the comments OP said "i just wanted to make sure since not all the members are christan" witch i just assumed that they where christan just not all members then i saw the album cover for Peagan terrorist tactics and im not so sure anymore
Do you know any good Orthodox metal bands besides Gospod? If yes please name them.
I’m a fan of Godsfarm, Broken Flesh, Pantokrator, Soul Embraced, Extol, and Becoming The Archetype and I’m looking for some more brutal death and prog/tech death preferably but any are welcome thanks
Hello all, I'm looking for suggestions on bands that have a female vocalist. I do know of a few bands, but might be brain farting on others once you mention some. All the christian metal artists out there are male vocalist, so please suggest female vocals.
here is a list of female vocalists that I know of
flyleaf/lacey sturm
jen ledger(skillet)
veridia
fireflight
the letter black
So I found some bands I really like. And also really like the fact they openly call themselves Christian bands. Wanting to find more bands with similar sounds. I know some might be in their own thing so I understand if no one else has a similar sound. Thanks for any help!
Bloodlines - probably my favorite band Holyname Convictions War of Ages Phinehas Your memorial Altars
Bands like acid bath, iron monkey, dystopian?
My dad absolutely loves whitecross, and since Christmas is just around the corner I thought I might try for something. If they didn't sell any records just lemme know
I'm curious, What is your opinion/stance when it concerns metal music being created and generated through artificial intelligence?
I admit, I'm not a musician, I'm not a vocalist, but I spent a little time today just fiddling around with generating music through AI, and it's quite interesting, and quite enjoyable... of course, I can't get the vocal range that we see in actual vocalists, but it still does a pretty good job
I know it sounds silly, Christian Metal that isn’t intense. I’m trying to get in to the genre but it’s all a bit too… screamy? (Is that a word?) Anyway, any suggestion helps. God bless!
