Who has better cell signal in north Texas DFW area and the state of Oklahoma? Verizon or AT&T
How is it? They said they are connected to Verizon towers? I’ve had Verizon 20 years best service anywhere even in Colorado mountains. How does Spectrum compare? Asking for a son
When i join a zoom meeting from my phone, everything is perfect. However, if i use my phone hotspot so that I can join the same zoom meeting from my computer, things are very slow and the image cuts often.
why is that? Is there anyway to prevent it?
Does anyone know what this notification is that popped up
Stay away from Consumer Cellular. Billing is a disgrace.
Hello I am in the market for a new phone, but I am researching what are the best models for a really good camera. I am an artist and would like a good phone camera to show my products online as well as keep up quality content in online platforms. I know probably anything newer by Apple will probably have a better chance to take good pictures, but I am open to other possibilities.
Looking for a new phone, just need it to handle the basics well calls, texts, everyday apps. would like a good camera too. I don't play mobile games so that's not important. Any suggestions?
Puse para que se actualice y me salta esto, alguien sabe q hacer? Ya intente con el botón de volumen abajo y el de inicio... I put for the update but the phone isnt update and i cant to cancel it. Can u help Me?
Just what the subject says... if there's no SIM card in my cell phone, can I still use it to dial 911?
Hello all,
I'm a 56 y/o retired, disabled, combat vet. I've never owned a cell phone in my life. I almost got one from Xfinity last year, but they tried to renegotiate our contract. Needless to say, I told them to go and pound sand. The whole ordeal left a very nasty taste in my mouth.
I do realize that having a cell phone is not only practical in today's times, but highly advisable. My kids are growing and will be leaving the nest soon to live their own lives. They want me to get one in case of emergencies and also to make it easier to contact me. I live out in the woods down a gravel road.
I'm not a Luddite. I have a PC and a Steam account. I have an idea of how cell phones work and I'm not afraid to use one. Though I will admit to a bit of trepidation. I hear horror stories of companies ripping people off and then there was my own experience with Xfinity.
So, my question is, what should I get? Like already mentioned, I'm retired. So that means I'm also on a fixed budget. What would you all suggest? Are there any that I should avoid at all costs? I don't plan on using it to watch videos or play games. I just want one to make phone calls with. Heck, I might even try the text thing.
What advice can you give me? Thanks to those that have read this far. I tried not to make a wot.
Taking a poll on who you think has the best coverage and data plan?
I'm trying to retrieve some data from my old iPhone 5 (i think, I had this phone back in 2016-2017, it has a golden backside) and I'm wondering if I should get it fixed in order to retrieve data from it. The screen juts out from its frame and it might or might not turn on right now (charging it atm).
Is it worth getting fixed and working so that I could try to recover this lost data from my phone? If so, what services and programs should I should to fix the phone and retrieve the deleted data? I want to retrieve more hard evidence of an incident from my past and I want to ask for technical help and see if it's possible.
Subject says it all.
Hi all - this upcoming black Friday is when my husband and I would like to get new phones. We currently have the Galaxy A53. We like them just fine (except the terrible camera) but they're old and broken from being dropped.
Looking for : new, unlocked, AT&T compatible, for $250 or less per phone. A good camera would be nice!
Thanks for any recommendations you can give.
For about 1 month now, I have been unable to make any calls. After dialing a number, it immediately says call ended. If anyone calls it says the person is unavailable. I also tried another sim from a different service provided and the results were the same. I am wondering if it has anything to do with the phone itself. They phone is a RevvL5g. Desperate for help.
Aside from diode (the one on the battery) what are the causes of boot loop?
I'm planning to upgrade my cellphone, I currently have an iphone 11. What do you think would be better, getting an iphone 16 or is the iPhone 15 enough? Salamat :))
Hello I still have my phone from about 17 years ago. I have precious pictures in there but the phone doesn't completely turn on. Only the part where it says kyocera and cricket then it just flashes. I want to know if there is a way to retrieve them or can I send the phone to get fixed and retrieve them?
Hi! 👋🏼 Does anyone know of a flip phones that is able to take live/motion photos. Thanks for your knowledge!! 😘
Does anyone own a Punkt MC02 Apostrophy OS Smartphone 128GB? I have a few questions. 1. Do most carries work with it? 2. Does it have GPS for driving? 3. What are options for music and podcasts?
Thank you!
Does this happen to anyone else? This has only happened between me and one other mate. I have a Pixel 7 Pro and they have a One +
They send me a video via SMS, and if I click on it while it's still loading, a grainy political ad plays instead of the intended video. If I click it again after the video finishes loading, it plays normally. I can't replicate the event, but the last time, I took screen caps of the video.
I am moving and wanting to switch to a cell phone provider that can only use a certain area code. I am wanting to keep my old number as I have had it forever. Is there any way to port just my number and have calls that are made to that number transfer to the new number? I have found things talking about porting to eSIM but looking for more explanation on if this is possible. Also in Canada if that makes things different.
Hi everyone, I wanted to know how I can get rid of this light spot on my cell phone screen. I bought a second-hand cell phone, everything is fine with it but this little light is bothering me. In the sales description it was written that the cell phone had recently had its screen replaced, perhaps it is a bad fit or something like that. I would like to know if it is easy to fix this at home or if it is better to take it to a technical support center.
Considering switching from Samsung Galaxy Note 23 Ultra, to the iPhone 16 ( not sure which model ).
How is the camera on the new iPhone?
Is it worth switching universes and be on team apple? ( most of my family and friends have apple and it would be easier in some situations to be in the same universe and FaceTime etc. )
I haven't really seen much reviews on the new iPhone since release, which is also odd...
hoping someone will have some insight for me!
I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and currently use Ting. My plan is only $30 a month for 5gs of data and unlimited talk and text but it’s total crap for coverage and I live in a major metropolitan area. It used to be a great low budget deal and still kinda is but I can’t with the spotty cell service and limitations that they have being a small mini cell phone provider.
I’m balling on a budget still but I need a phone plan that will work using the same sim card seamlessly in the US and Mexico and my other big point is I need to be able to fully and completely block a specific phone number.
I think it’s a carrier issue with Ting that that’s not something they can do but also maybe an iPhone device issue? For me currently if I block someone they can still blow up my phone with calls only I don’t get notifications and it still fills up my voicemail box just in a blocked messages folder so it’s still an issue. :(
Switching cell phone providers is my current option before considering pursuing a restraining order. I already changed my number a few years ago too but it has continued and I’d really like to 100% block a number and not worry about my voicemail still getting full. 😔
I also want to upgrade my phone though and to do it in payments though.
