We are looking for a year long lease for a home in Cape Coral, starting in December (mid December preferably, but beginning of December would work). We have pets and kids, so there's a lot of factors to consider. Are there good agents or companies out there that you can recommend to help us out?
That was the second time out of the five I’ve seen in the past 1 hour
Did yesterday’s weather have flooding near CCPkwy/Publix/ Santa Barbara area in SE? Thank you
After Hurricane Ian two years ago, I was pretty sure I was renewing my flood insurance, but Allstate quoted me about $6,000, which seems incredibly high to me. I decided to think about it but ultimately did not purchase it. Now I'm reconsidering the situation after Hurricane Helene, especially since there seemed to be some flooding in my area. I'm in the SE area of Cape Coral, which is a flood zone, and I own my home.
Thanks in advance!
How bad is the flooding along pine island?
So we're off of Cape coral parkway and the water is about to reach my back door. We are pretty flooded here
Just weird.
The past 15 mins now lights flickering on slater rd
Can we just fucking stop with it? Both parties. I'm pretty left of center but seeing the dems do it in a attempt to match the flacidity of the trump parade is annoying. You're not convincing voters, just blocking traffic and groveling for your base. It's fucking lame y'all.
My fiance and myself just moved here about 3 months ago we are 20f and 21m we dont have any friends here and I work full time and she has online college. We are lookong for things to do and trying to get ourselves out there to meet new people and make some friends and suggestions would be awesome.
How’s it’s going ya’ll! I’m new to the area. 23 years old(M). Looking to land a job where my 3 years of previous work experience gets put to use. I worked as an apprentice carpenter for a smaller commercial contracting company doing work mainly in UCSD hospitals and UCSD Campuses in San Diego. I would like to think I took my job seriously and I would hope my previous employer would reflect that if you asked. I know how to keep a job site clean and I am always on time. My best skills I could list are cleanliness, timeliness, patience, and knowing what needs to happen next on a job site. I take pride in what I do and enjoy tackling tasks and accomplishing goals to build something worth looking at. If anyone can point me in the right direction much would be appreciated.
P.S I have my own tools.
Thank you.
Hey Cape Coral!
I’m looking to buy 1/4 cow and would love to support a local farmer with clean, grass-fed, and ethically-raised cows. Does anyone know of any trustworthy farms in the area that offer this kind of service?
Thanks in advance
Jobs are IMPOSSIBLE to get right now, I am 21, have worked in offical childcare and with family and friends children and pets. I've been babysitting since I could walk due to my hundred and a half cousins. I'm a high energy, cheery, bright eyed and bushy tailed artist who loves hello kitty and any animal with fur, feathers or fangs! I won't drive due to being close to someone in an accident when I was young so I learned but never got a permit nor a license but I ride an electric scooter on the sidewalk to get where I need to go. I love being a mentor and am striving towards my teaching certificate as soon as I can afford the testing fees. DM me for more information! Pay is really negotiable as anything is better than nothing 😀
This city needs more art. Very bland aesthetics. Everyone should get together and paint every public surface
Anyone have a lawyer that can help my cat. She reacted to a drug. Now is permantly messed up.
BREAKUP SPECIAL: I have a lease that I am already on for a 3/2 house with a fenced backyard, it’s about 1900 square feet off Cape Coral PKWY and skyline that we started in March, it’s got a few months left but basically:
My sister and her BF are separating and that pretty much leaves me, so I’m trying to find a roommate to take the master bedroom. The lease is pet friendly and we’re willing to be flexible, we just want to try to salvage it at this point to avoid having an eviction on my record. I can be flexible, I just can’t afford the total lease on my own. Dm me if interested
Where’s the Pop Punk/Emo/Metal scene/bars now that Ollie’s in the Cape is gone?
Had a guy that did it all for 70 bucks. He got sick need a new guy? Anyone got a recommendation?
any recommendations for a pest control company ants and spiders?
Anyone know what's going on around Skyline Blvd? Saw police with sniffer dogs earlier and now there's a helicopter circling?
In search of a Automotive shop in Cape coral fort myers area
just bought a boat and i need to know where can i get to from my boat. i know its mostly residential but what stores, restaurants, or other things is there? also looking in fort myers too
I’m in all the local yard sale, buy sell trade groups, moms groups etc. for Cape Coral and fort Myers. And I can’t sell my kids clothes for the life of me! I’m trying to avoid once upon a child and those types of stores. I had no issues selling my daughters clothes before Covid but ever since it’s been so frustrating! I get a million people that tell me they’re interested and even go so far to make pick up plans, then they ghost. I don’t understand. I know times are tough but I can’t afford to just GIVE their clothes away every time I size them up. I feel like offering literally 100 items of clothing for $40 is reasonable. They’re in great condition, folded and washed. I just don’t understand. The second I post something for free, I get 50 responses in 5 minutes. I post something for sale and I get the typical run around. Are there any “secret” groups I’m not in that I should try my luck at? I’m so over it lol. I’m just trying to get a little bit of what I spent back. It just seems like everyone in this area is looking for a handout nowadays. Sorry if this is formatted weird or whatever. I’m a lurker, not a poster, I barely know how to use reddit. 😅
Just trying to find a place where I can buy my kid a helmet and gloves. He’s 6 and just got him a beginner bike off marketplace. Don’t want to order through Amazon.
Does anyone have a high quality local source for humanely raised and euthanized feeder mice/rats? I'm thinking something other than Petco/PetSmart.
I’ve made up my mind to move from Seattle to Cape Coral or Fort Myers, but I’ve been hearing that home insurance is pretty high down there. How high are we talking? I’ve seen some rough figures, but I’m curious about what to really expect.
Also, are there certain areas that are more likely to be uninsured or that I should avoid when house hunting? Any advice from locals or those who’ve made a similar move would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Does anyone know what the story is behind the guy picketing in front of Outback on Skyline?
