Looking to do a very modest cafe racer build on my Honda CG125. I've got a set of Ace handlebars and will be ordering a replacement tank. I want to add either a small single seat or hump seat but theres not enough space to fit it with all the extra mountings etc at the rear. If I manage to find a seat/frame hoop that is the right size, would it be relatively inexpensive for a local welder to do it? Or, if it's a single seat, would JB weld over the slugs and gap be strong enough if it's a single seat? I know it's a rookie question, but i don't want to make a mistake and ruin the frame. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
I’m installing the mo unit blue on my Yamaha xv 750 from 1990. When I was disassembling the wiring harness I noticed a yellow powder on the electrical tape. Anyone have an idea what this is and what caused it? The bike is new to me so I don’t know the history
Got my seat modified to single seater, at the workshop and I only took a really good look once I rode back home and I found a hole that's could lead to a real bad situation if I were to ride in the rain. Any solutions for this? Do i just send it back to the workshop? Or is there a cover that I can buy for the battery compartment?
Picked this up a couple months ago, but it wasn't running. I posted here afterwards so here's a little update.
With the help of a friend, I got the bike idling and running great. It ended up needing new larger pilot jets, smaller main jets, and different needles. This was only after finding and removing all four broken idle mixture screws tips from the carbs. Currently syncing them since it's now able to idle off choke, but I had to mock up the tank since I just got it and the cowl back from paint. Currently fixing wiring, and relocating the battery to the hookie co box under the swing arm.

my 79 suzuki gs750 i dont have airfilters or anything on i have pod filters now i still have to put on but it seems like its running rich and lean at the same time??? another thing is someone eliminated the points system for dyna 3 ingintion and i have an issue where the plugs are constantly firing the second they ground out, anyone have any ideas if theyre a coil issue because it did it before i had the box plugged in.
My BMW K100 has more than 100k km on it. I'd like to buy a new digital gauge/instrument for it. But I don't want it to begin from 0 kms. How do I know if the new instrument has the functionality to set up my own kms?
Looking for a bike currently and keep coming across ones that people don’t have titles to. Does anyone know the actual rules for getting a title for something?
Edit one: I think I found what I was looking for finally it’s called a bonded title and apparently most states have this option.
Hey everybody long time since I’ve posted here. I got my project bike running with a steady idle, warmed her up and wanted to try and sync these carbs. However upon connecting the gauges I find that I’m getting a positive pressure reading, and any time I adjust to bring down to vacuum it seems like the bike struggles and wants to die. This is my first time tuning carbs so I know I’m probably lost, but any help would be appreciated! Attached is a picture of my readings at idle
Hello, I’m looking for a decent condition K100 for a cafe racer project. The bike needs to be running and should have a title. I’m in Toronto so would be interested in nearby areas itself. Please reply to this thread if you have anything suitable.

I want to fit a wheel cover for the back. I'll see if I can do it, then I'll post an update.
