I have a 2020 Ducati Diavel 1260S and this pops up, how can i remove this. Already tried to remove the battery
I am considering one but don't know about I should look out for when purchasing one. Thanks in advance for the help!
Battery at 12.1V this morning after a quick ride. Dashboard is live. No battery issue indicator. But when I try to start the engine, the dashboard turns black. I can’t even hear anything when trying to ignite the engine. Am I set to tow and get the bike battery recharged/changed? Brand new Panigale V2 2024.
I’ve read a bunch of forums and Facebook groups. Not found a fix. Closest Ducati shop is 3.5hrs away. I’ve got 2 issues.
1st- I’m getting hot stalls when the bike is around 190°F. It’s fine as long as I’m cruising but as soon as I start towards a slow down (clutch in and downshifting) it’s just dies. It fires back up no issues it might stall again usually have to give it a little rev to keep it from stalling.
2nd- The clutch was replaced about 4 months ago. By the previous owner. When the bike is under 180°F the clutch feels normal as it gets warmer it feels like it dragging and get jerky. It is a dry clutch. I was wondering if the clutch issue could contribute to the hot stalls. Any advice I’m all out of ideas.
Most of my advice was fuel injector cleaner and I’ve done it with no success.
Bought a used 2017 supersport of my cousin. The vin check says supersport / supersport s. But for the life of me I can’t figure out how to tell. I believe it’s just supersport.
I am taking my SF for a 2 week adventure
Need storage solutions, preferably saddle bags
Has anyone with a SF managed to get something that fits and doesn't affect riding comfort, passenger seat is the size of a pizza slice at most ...
The trip is not till March so have ample time and I'm in nz for reference
Hey ya'll! I have an empty garage right now, and looking to get another Ducati. Previously, I had a Streetfighter V2, and absolutely loved it.
I've never ridden a true sport bike, but the idea of having a windscreen appeals to me, since I do a bit of highway riding and plan to advance my skills with track days/lessons. For reference, I'm 5'11" and 205lbs on a good day.
The reason I never really considered a Panigale is because of the aggressive ergonomics and way the engine is tuned -- but, I haven't ridden one.
Since my wife has baby fever and will probably win that battle, I'm more interested in spending time on the track versus the street, but also want a bike I can enjoy backroads on. I can't see myself doing rides longer than a couple hours.
I am by no means an advanced rider, which has kept me away from any of the V4's.
How much more aggressive is the current Panigale versus the Streetfighter? Will I hate it on the street?
Do fairings really help that much on the highway and track?
Would the new Panigale be a good option for me, as it's supposedly more comfortable?
For the price of a new Panigale, I could almost buy a used Streetfighter v2 and a 959!
Appreciate your guys input!
Hello peeps,
I am searching for my second bike. I'm still on A2 level. Has anyone have /had experience with the monster 696? How is the reliability? How does it drive at 35 kW? What are the weaknesses? Pros and cons etc.
Thank u!
I have the possibility to buy either a 1198s 2009 or a panigale 899 2014 for the roughly the same price and with the same mileage. What would you guys go for?
Hello all,
I am new to the world of motorcycling, and would like this forum's advice. I recently passed my motorcycle license test here in California, and have taken and passed a motorcycle safety course. I want to get my first bike. I am deciding between a Monster and a Scrambler.
This bike won't be used for commuting, but weekend joy rides and possibly taking it to a local track. Any thoughts on which one to get? Thanks for your time.
Im 210lbs, an intermediate rider. I took the bike out for a cruise and some turns I felt like it did when I drove my old 94 911. The back would come out. Feels little nerve raking.
I was unhappy with the tail tidy solutions available on the market for my Streetfighter as I feel they are overpriced and ugly. So I went about building one I liked with an integrated turn signal taillight I bought off of Amazon, and factory available parts for the license plate.
Well hello everybody, we are in that time with my Multi 1260s.
Just wanted to hear your experiences about desmo service, how was it, what has been changed after the service.
Does it worth to pay $2k or should I just upgrade it with Diavel or something similar?
Thanks!!
Silly question but how the hell do you turn on the headlights for this bike? In the settings screen I am only seeing a specific setting for the DRL’s thT can be adjusted. On my Hypermotard, the lights just come on when the sun starts going down, on this thing nothing changed. The DRL can go from dim to brighter but thats not the headlight. Then theres a toggle button you can push forward or quick press for the high beam that turns the headlight on, but thats a high beam.
Super confused with this thing. Love the bike though.
The smaller displacement Ducati Sports bike has always been my aspiration going back to the 848.
Variety of issues, (mostly insurance) kept me from getting one and currently do most of my riding on a SS 950.
Was going to pick up a Daytona 675 to fill that nearly midlife crisis want of mine for a more race oriented bike, but while getting insurance quotes the company redid my profile and the cost of the V2 dropped by 60% (will be about $60 more than the SS a month).
This combined with a promotion at work has me thinking it’s time to get the V2, but looking for people who have made the transition to see if it’s really a better bike.
For info I am larger (6’2, 300 pounds former power lifter), have zero intention of going near a track, or even leaning seriously in corners. My longest ride are 90 minutes to my cottage, and I didn’t do 1000 miles last year.
I miss my younger days riding a gsxr-600 and how brutal and mechanical everything about it was. Am trading the M5 in for a EV SUV (dogs, fiancee, etc needed space), given up my dreams of exotic car ownership, and just want one thing that is raw/mechanical in my life.
The SS is a great bike and never once riding it have I wanted anything else, it’s just when I get off and see a v2 makes me want it. Just don’t want to spend the money and wish I had the old bike.
It’s time to put some new tyres on the v2 Panigale. I would last for about 500kms.
The stock (rosso corsa 2) ran for 10K kms. Did it last long enough?
Should I get a Rosso II instead - someone said it’s going to last double.
I am inclined towards Rosso IV but someone said Rosso II’s are better in the mileage.
Please note, it’s my daily driver and I am always on the road (never on the track).
Pls advise.
In the market for a Streetfighter V4/S and came across a couple options.
Lightly used 23 SFV4 with the full titanium Akra underbelly exhaust
Discount brand new 24 SFV4S. Stock exhaust
Price wise both are about the same price. What would you go for?
