I mask with n95 in public, but I was sick recently and I wonder if it was because I was taking too much CBD:CBG oil. It was a brief 3 day virus, low fever, body aches. I wonder if like cortisol, too much CBD can suppress your immune system and actually result in getting sick?
Okay so there is this CBN (yes, cbn, not CBD) that ive been using and it was 1mg / drop
Im fucking sensitive to cannabis so i had to dose it gradually within like 20 minutes and THEN i had positive effects from 2-3mg
But now the current one has 2mg CBN in one drop and half the amount of CBD that kinda counteracted the negative effects but now its 2.5% instead of 5% which means that one drop used to be 1mg CBD and 1mg CBN, now its always 1mg CBD and 2mg CBN per drop so if i take two, ive only taken 2mg CBD but already taken 4mg CBN which is the limit of what i tolerate
So.. TLDR: how do i halve a drop???? Lol Any tactics? Tried putting it in a spoon, try to kinda separate it but that was just kinda miserable and ineffective
Hello everyone I am new to using CBD things and wanted to try the CBD Juul pods from HempZilla
I want to use them but idk if these kind of things would show up on drug test? because I get tested a lot at my new job, I was going to see if anyone has experience using these.
also...what is the best flavor? lol
I’ve been taking 1ml of Alliant once per day, before going to bed. This contains 50 mg CBD + 2.5 mg THC.
I haven’t noticed anything or felt any different (male, 190 pounds).
I’m running out of supply and looking to order more, try again.
The next step up is 1ml providing 200 mg CBD + 2 mg THC (4 times my current dosage of CBD, a bit less THC).
Any recommendations?
-Take .5ml, which still doubles the amount of CBD?
-Take a full 1ml? More than once per day?
Looks like the amount of THC would drop. IDK if that’s good or bad.
I’m looking for it to help with stress and mild anxiety.
Thanks!
Hi all,
I've been in the industry for 5 years now and I'm also a meditation teacher. I host live meditations on Thursday nights aest. Happy to add in extra time zones if there's interest!
With cbd it's important we are taking rhe time to make it holistic and taking a moment to check in withourselves
On top of this , I have a 30 day cbd flow to help you check in with yourself with meditation and your cbd!
Here's my insta https://www.instagram.com/reel/DCQOYoGytq6/?igsh=MW90aXBsNTh0bzI4bg==
If so how did it go? I know cbd works different for everybody. I ordered a cbd vape that's 1500 mg. What should I expect from it? I've tried cbd gummies and they've made me super tired. I guess what I would want from the experience is to feel relaxed and help with anxiety.
Made this the other day. 30g of isolate in 120ml (4oz) MCT Coconut Oil. It was clear as water after the hot water bath and the isolate and oil had combined.
I just put maybe a teaspoon of some vanilla extract in there and now it's cloudy as can be. Anyone know what this reaction is? Simply just the alcohol in oil is what the wife suggested.
I have been an alcoholic for the better part of 18 years. Started as a party thing in my teens into a nightly ritual to “unwind” and had evolved into a daily thing.
I don’t like the term “functional alcoholic” but that best describes me. I never craved alcohol during the work week. Nights and weekends are when I’d, at minimum, have 1-3 IPAs or 3-4 mixed drinks. On bad nights 10+ beers with shots. Lots of black out nights. I’ve been tapering off in the past 6 months to only weekends but the way it has been affecting my body and mind have pushed me to my limit. I don’t like the term functional alcoholic because it isn’t true. I was irritable, had anxiety, regret, negative thoughts etc. Was stuck on the roller coaster of drinking cause I felt shitty, and felt shitty cause I drank.
I had tried CBD edibles and tinctures in the past but how long it took to kick in didn’t help. Last week I bought a CBD vape cart and holy shit, it’s like a miracle. It gets me exactly to where I like, reduces my anxiety and the greatest is I have zero desire to drink, even when others are. I hit my pen and I feel relaxed and engaged but in control. No more hangovers either.
I did pick up some water soluble powder to keep the “ritual” of making a drink while hanging out with friends who are consuming alcohol, but I can’t believe I’ve not had a drink in a week. I feel like a whole new, better person.
TL;DR: CBD vape killed all my desire to drink/abuse alcohol
I got hurt at work and really not enjoying the pain meds they gave me. I want to try CBD gummies to see if that helps. I want to try and find THC free if possible though. I don’t think I will be drug tested but better safe than sorry.
I have found some by charlottes web but can’t seem to find lab results. I also am open to suggestions of other brands as well. Isolate or broad spectrum is fine. I am new to this so just learning all I can.
Thanks in advance
I bought my first disposable CBD vape today - a strawberry and kiwi Orange County one. I was super excited for it, since I have joint issues and CBD tends to help a lot with that. But when I tried it out, it burnt my throat? The flavour was fine, and the initial hit was also fine, but there was a harsh aftertaste which hit the back of my throat and felt a little bit like burning, which I found unpleasant. Do all disposable CBD vapes do this, or is it just the brand, or flavour? And for future, are there any CBD vape brands (refillable or disposable) that you’d recommend which don’t have this effect? Thanks!
I’ve been taking the Alliant Hemp CBD isolate 6000mg (200mg per ml) for months now. I take it twice a day sometimes. Dosing ranges from 25mg- 50mg during the day, when I do use it in the day and 75mg at night. Thats just what works for me.
I went to take my dosage last night for bed like usual. 75mg. I had taken 50mg earlier in the day (no issue then) I hold it under my tongue for a few minutes like always and then take a sip of water and swallow it. Literally with in seconds of swallowing it my throat was on fire. Mouth was heavily salivating. Swallowing itself didn’t hurt bc I kept drinking cold milk, Just the back of throat and a little down into it. I looked and it was slightly red but nothing super alarming. No actual swelling of the throat, face, and lips or facial redness. Pain went on for well over an hour to the point I started panicking and almost went to the er. Finally subsided enough and anxiety settled enough that I fell asleep. Woke up and my throat is completely fine. What the hell happened?!
I’m not allergic to anything. Never had an issue with it until last night. It is not expired. Bottle is a little more than 1/4 full and I always shake well before dosing.
Freaked me out to the point I’m scared. Kind of bummed about the whole thing especially since it’s been helping me heaps.
Okay so recently I was arrested in the state of Georgia for a vape pen that contained THC. Im facing felony charges and am probably gonna have to take a drug test. Stopping weed has brought me a lot of anxiety and depression which is typical. Im looking for something natural to help that problem and I think CBD is the move. Does anybody have any recommendations of a CBD vape that contains 0 I mean absolutely 0 THC? Thanks!
I used to take a cbd supplement … can’t remember what it was called or the local store I bought from. I remember it had 0 thc.. it was a little yellow three section “bar” looking thing and you put it under your top lip and let it dissolve. It kind of tingles too.
Hi all.
I'm very new to CBD usage, as in I've never used it, so forgive the ignorance on my part.
I have low to mild anxiety, and I was wondering if anyone has experience using CBD (oil or gummy) to help with this.
Does anyone have recommendations for brands, in Canada? I'm looking for products with no THC.
Should I be looking for products without THC?
I am curious about the science but can't afford to pay out of pocket to some mmj dr who may or may not even know about cbd science.
essential tremor runs on one side of the family. ms on the other so i worry. anyhow couple Dr say essential tremor that popped up a couple years ago after an infection. coincidence or trigger? anyhow i noticed it calmed down when i would get a dose of cbd. yay. then early this year i tried a combo cbd and cbd-a oil half and half. MUCH better. more expensive tho so i went back to the other company. BIG DIFFERENCE. tremors severe in both hands, hard to drink from a full mug, hard to type without multple letters. if i take at least on dose cbda combo 1/2 is better but even 1/4 ml helps, it keeps things bearable. there is a bit of carry over to next day but two days who boy my hand vibrate. getting first drink of the day is getting harder very necessary with POTS & low bp to keep hydrate
oh yeah btw anyone know why cbg knocked me flat like bad POTS. I tried herb and it sucked just a tiny pinch to test and I was stuck in bed. waited a week tried again. same result. cbg is not a friend to me. does it affect BP? my usual BP is low 80s to high 70s over high 50s. didn't have a bp machine to test back when i had cbg.
i'm glad cbg is wonderful for most people. I'm glad others get relief from health problems they have. i just wish more stuff that worked for other humans worked on me with fewer side effects rendering them unbearable.
thanks for any science. my drs have no clue, i'm lucky they don't give me grief for using cbd and just look blank when i ask so i gaveup wasting both our time
Last year I decided to taper of benzodiazepines after a 12 year habit and I was always researching what could help with my anxiety during and after the process. I came across nootropics, amanita, and CBD which I liked the idea of due to their antagonist effects on glutamate receptors. They all seemed to help, but I wish I had discovered Big Cat Botanicals during my taper. Fortunately, I found them afterward. Holy shizers, the CBD vape they offer blew me away!
I waited four days to try it because I wanted to test it during a high-stress moment. I wish I had found this during my taper, and that's another reason I’m sharing this. I am not affiliated with them whatsoever. The best way to describe it is that I feel all the benefits of THC with this vape, just without the head high. I feel relaxed, laughing, and hungry, all within 30 minutes of taking three puffs. Just 30 minutes prior, I was sweating, about to vomit, and feeling mentally defeated—it seemed like I was experiencing post-acute withdrawal.
They sent me a few pieces of candy they offer, and I'm glad it was only a few; otherwise, I would have eaten them all just for the taste! I’ve tried many different CBD products in the last year, and I will never buy from anyone else. For anyone hesitant about purchasing from them, let my experience put your mind at ease. 10/10
Anybody with high anxiety I had been searching my whole life for something non narcotic to ease tension. I FOUND IT!!!
UK. Tried two brands of CBD chocolate, found effects entirely positive and useful, calm and able to concentrate well, was able to get plenty done while and after consuming it. On one occasion, probably had 40-45mg in a few hours in chocolate. Still good then.
One of these brands of chocolate uses a particular brand of oil, and I got a small bottle of the oil, because it's going to be better for my teeth then the chocolate. This is a 5%, whole plant, full spectrum oil. I feel nauseous for about 45 minutes after taking it, and the unpleasant oily taste hangs around longer. I then become sleepy and stupid, and I'm pretty useless for anything. Don't really want to try it again, if it's just going to do that.
how could I get a similar effect as with the chocolate, but with a product that doesn't involve sugar or contribute to teeth staining, and doesn't work out as expensive as the chocolate?
is there a way to avoid having to try potentially dozens of brands or formulations before finding one that works well? That reminds me of looking for skincare products - exhausting, expensive and time-consuming.
Is there a way that I could use this oil that I've got a nearly full bottle of, that would have better effects? As a skin product? Cooking ingredient?
I’m ADHD but I’ve moved mountains to manage my symptoms well. The only thing I cannot do for the life of me is always have good days of getting things done and being active. I’ll have one good day and lots of not good days, like consistently being in peaks and valleys. Depression is a thing that comes with not really functioning well.
Not looking to get high, but how good are cbd gummies for that?
EDIT- I'ma give everyone a upvote.....please do the same for everyone weather agreeing with their reply or not. Just time out our day is worth a upvote
CBD Vaping (flavor: snozzberry brand- hixotic) for about 2 and half years maybe 3. And that's been my main brand the entire time. I've tried different kinds .....and to be honest......they are all so close to being the exact same....that it's going to effect the appeal more and more as time goes on.
The ONLY brand that's actually worth it is that brand. It lasts me 2 weeks. Cost 25 dollars for a 2 gram ( originally priced at 45 dollars for over a year and a half before CBD was stabled out and able to withstand the demand) alot of my friends won't even try this CBD vape. LoL I was never a weed smoker it made me paranoid. But CBD is the only anxiety relief Ive ever gotten. Vape products are cleaner..... purer quality ....and last longer......but all my friends smoked pounds of all different kinds of CBD leaf trying to get the effect that was as good as how it physically looked. Never being able to do so only making themself sick to the point where they won't even give my CBD vape a chance for even one hit which is such a shame because they don't know what they're missing 🤦🏼♂️
CBD isn't a replacement for weed.....it's a totally different drug.....with a whole different purpose and certain market of customers myself being one of them. Expecting weed from leaf will always fail you. The vapes tho get you as close as your. Every going to get
Using full spectrum for chronic pain and anxiety. What do you recommend for how much and how often
I regularly take wana brand gummies, usually sativa. I have tried indica but I wasnt a fan because it always made me fall asleep very quickly. I am curious about the main differences between THC and CBD in gummies. I have read that it is very similar except CBD is not intoxicating, but I am struggling to comprehend how that would work since I thought the whole idea was intoxication? I am probably misunderstanding but I want to try the CBD gummies, just curious what I should expect so I'm not caught off guard
I picked these up and I've never tried cbd. I know that it won't get me high or anything I'm just hoping to relax before bed. I'm kind of scared because I usually trip out when I smoke I just don't want to feel bad when I take one. I'm debating maybe taking a half of one. What do ya'll think?
Hey guys how are yall?
For a few quick questions if any of yall might know. As of a few days ago I received my first cbd cigarettes(redwood reserve and plain Jane) and I live in the state of Virginia, I was wondering if not only it was legal here( I read that as long as it was under 0.03 thc then I was fine)
I’m mainly wondering if a cop pulls me over or if they can smell it in my car(I had both packs in my car for a few days, didn’t smoke because I was at work)
What might the process be if I get pulled over and they suspect something?
Also about drug testing, I’ve heard conflicting things basically saying that cbd dosent show up on a drug test but thc does and maybe if the cbd has some thc in it then it would be a positive, then I’ve heard both will show up so I’m not sure what’s true and what isn’t.
The cbd stuff really helps with my anxiety and helps calm me down after work, dosent impair me or anything but I feel calmer like I can take more on if that makes any sense.
Thank you guys and gals again so much and if this isn’t the right place for this please let me know and I can have it removed promptly. 😁
Trying to find a reputable CBD gummy for my 16 year old daughter. These say they're safe for kids.
I have a CBD isolate oil from Alliant and THC only microdose pills from CBDMD. I've wondered what it would be like to combine the 2? Could that be dangerous since they are different brands?
Absolutely, CBD can contribute to improved energy levels, mainly by supporting relaxation and mental focus. While it doesn’t act like a direct stimulant, CBD works within the body to relieve stress and ease fatigue. A brand like Hemp and Barrel offers CBD products designed to help with daily alertness and mental clarity, supporting a balanced, energized mood throughout the day. Many users report that Hemp and Barrel's tinctures help them feel refreshed and focused without the nervousness of caffeine. Remember to start with a smaller dose to gauge your body's response and adjust as needed.
