Hello,
I had my first panic attack maybe 10 years ago, and I've always dreaded the feeling... I'd have general anxiety about it, constantly seeking ways to resolve the issue (that honestly was a one off case). But fast forward I actually induced panic attacks by smoking THC.. and it's very strange because after this panic attack I feel AMAZING.... Like literally the best ever, super clear mind and everything. Last night I had an hour long panic attack that I honestly don't really remember being that long, it went by so fast, but it was so intense, I wanted to run away and everything, additionally I had CRAZY tremors.. like full body tremors. but I felt like i connected with my inner child, I calmed myself down and almost resolved inner turmoil I've had...
Basically what I'm trying to say here is this. What if marijuana is just a way to expose ourselves to inner fears? Almost like dreams, but in real time? It's a very strange awakening, if anyone has any insight I'd love to hear about it. I cant wrap my head around how AMAZING I feel after these panic attacks. Thank you.
For refrance I'm 18 5' 8 and 145 pounds and used to smoke daily from about 14 - 15. I stopped a month and a week ago due to a pre apprenticeship program I'm in and as of today I pissed clean, with a solid red line on top and a semi faint red line on the bottom. I have a dab pen that I haven't hit in over a month and was just curious, if I hit it how lomg will it be till my UA shows clean again. I in no way HAVE to hit it or really even want too. But was just curious I'd I were to so to say, how long would it be until i piss clean again. I have about a month left before we have to submit tests to a lab. (Note, the ua we've been doing is the standard 6 panel and the lab one, from what I heard will be much more accurate in terms of screening for thc metabolites, as well as other drugs) what are your guys thoughts?
So, I use flower a couple times a night out of a glass bowl. Often enough, it'll burn me enough or something to the point where it's like acid reflux on steroids and I vomit. Is there a good alternative for raw flower that might not fuck me up like this?
Hi everyone!
I’m currently a graduate student currently working on a project related to medical marijuana usage. I'm looking for insights from medical marijuana users, healthcare professionals, and recreational users to help guide my research. The purpose of this project is to better understand the challenges that users face, particularly around dosing and tracking usage, and to explore how different tools could help improve the experience. This research will ultimately help in creating solutions that address real issues faced by the community.
If you use medical marijuana or have experience as a healthcare professional dealing with marijuana patients, I'd love to ask a few questions to learn from your experience. Below are some of the questions I have in mind, but feel free to share anything else you think might be important!
Questions:
Feel free to drop a comment or message me directly. Your responses are incredibly valuable and will only be used for this research. If you’re comfortable, I’d be happy to do a short Zoom call for more detailed feedback as well.
Thanks so much for your help!
just turned 18 yesterday! went to nuggmd, they quoted 170. is there any place i could go to (online or in-person) for a cheaper med card? thanks!
For context I have gastroparesis and have been on a long path trying to get diagnosed. My mother has been my biggest advocate and tried really hard to support me/help me through this and encouraged me to go to lots of different doctors and even switched insurance so that I could seek better specialists. She doesn't want to watch me struggle and is/has been very worried about me.
My gastroparesis is caused by hormone therapy---hormone therapy that I have to be on for the rest of my life and that I get severely severely depressed and exhausted without. And the only reason I felt safe enough to take it was after I started using weed and knew I had an escape when the horrible nausea and stomach pain started.
I started the process of titrating my HRT earlier this year and have really wanted to tell her that I found the help I've been desperately searching for but I've been too afraid. Her and my father are older and I'm pretty sure anti weed because when I mentioned the possibility of weed or CBD to her as I was researching it, she thought it was snake oil.
However she's a very intelligent woman, someone who regularly sends me scientific research she thinks might help me, and she literally works at NASA. I think if I approach this conversation in a delicate manner, and explain my experience and some of the science supporting weed, she'd listen and even be supportive. All 3 of my older sisters have also been recreational users, and would be able to back me up.
My doctors even know about my marijuana use, and are fairly supportive so I don't see why she wouldn't be.
That being said I'm still very nervous to do so as I still live with her. So if anyone has great research I could point her towards in favor of medical marijuana, or ways to go about approaching the subject, I would very much appreciate it.
I'm looking to apply for a MMJ card for my anxiety, but I get very nervous when talking on the phone. Roughly how long are the phone calls and what are they about? Considering Nuggmd and Dr Weedy, or other options. Thanks!
Hi, i am currently interested in applying for my medical card in Pennsylvania and had a few questions i cant seem to get answered. I'm not a huge firearm person, but i do have one in my possession from when i used to CC back in 2017. My questions are:
Will i be expected to relinquish this firearm immediately?
Is it true i will no longer be able to purchase firearms?
If i decide to not renew my medical card in the future, will my right to buy and bear arms be re-instated?
Will my wife be able to purchase firearms in her name while i have my card? (Obv we live in the same home)
I understand this makes me seem like a bigger 2A person than i actually am, but i just want to make sure im not going to break any laws or rules that would interfere with me obtaining this medicine. Just want to do things right. Thank you all in advance! :)
I'm 6'3. 40 years old, 180 lbs, pretty active, not a lot of body fat except a bit on my belly. I know THC sticks to fat cells. TIA!!
So, I'm going to my local store and say trick or treat!... holding a Chucky doll (no knifes) face will be shown yada yada...
I wonder if they will oblige? Maybe I should cut up their bag into a pumpkin face?
I tried the bread method and paper towel method and its still dry :(. When I did the methods it would be moist for a bit then when I stored it in a jar with like a silicone ring around it, the ones from Spencers, it turns dry again. Someone help plz :,).
I’m scheduled for surgery next week and I’ve been advised to stop consuming cannabis one week before surgery. I know this is done to decrease the chances of complications, but what are those complications? How likely is it to occur? And how important is it really to stop for a whole week? Im currently unable to eat more than small bites here and there or sleep without cannabis, so I really don’t want to take a full week off.
I’m about to apply for a card from NuggMD, but my friend was telling me I shouldn’t get a card because it can increase all my insurance rates ? When looking it up I can’t find any information that this is true so I’m wondering does anyone know if this is true? I’m 20 y/o in California.
So I took a drug test -urine for lab corp. I am 5’2 and like 100lbs. I haven’t smoked in 3month and 10 days. The last time I took a drug test was 1 month into being clean and I had failed it. I smoked flower heavily, like 4 blunts everyday for a year. Should I be worried for my drug test?
Are there any herbal supplements or adaptogens that react badly in combination with heavy cannabis use? A drop in blood pressure, for example? And a second question: Do you know a MOM (mail order marijuana) in BC, Canada that offers substantial bulk discounts? For example, 50% off the total price if you pickup 8 AAA ounces!
