Office/team are business casual but on the more formal side of that scale. Men wear shoes like this since our campus is pretty big and many people end up walking more than a mile each day just moving around or getting coffee. How would they be for a woman? Mid 20s.
Anyone have recommendations for dress pants for taller women? I'm 5'10" and would like to find dress pants that don't look like capris. Any companies offer talls/longs in dress pants?
Thanks in advance!
Okay, I'm at an absolute loss. Please help!
I've been losing weight and I've officially sized out of the only curvy girl store I knew of (Torrid). I went from a 16/18 to a 12/14 verging on a 10/12.
I'm now a size 12 and moving down, but I'm still shaped like an hourglass. All I'm finding is boxy blazers, clothes without shape, things that are meant to hide shape and not accentuate it in the "regular" sizes.
I've seen women in cute blazers & business casual clothes online, they have a waist line, they have shape, they don't look like walking rectangles like I did when I went on a mass try on spree yesterday. I know they exist somewhere.
Please help! I need to replace basically a whole wardrobe at this point.

Anyone know of a good looking belt that can go through TSA? All I find is cheesy carbon fiber or elastic belts.
I am getting some closet upgrades as I graduate this coming May and proceed to do interviews in my field(Finance & Risk Management), Ive been mostly doing Zoom interviews but have some in person lined up and dont have good shoes for the meeting! Ive had friends and coworkers tell me both sides that these are very nice and will do and also that they are way too casual for an interview or work setting… HELP!
Hi - I want to pull together some free styling guides, can you help me complete this poll so I can help work on the biggest challenge.
Hi guys! My friend and I were frustrated by the high prices of mid-to-high-end fashion brands online
so we created a tool called Encore for our fashion climate tech class that links the best second-hand and cheaper alternatives for your favorite mid/high end clothing items 🍃
If you are interested in trying it out our conversational search tool, here's our signup and website :)
Just type what you're looking for, converse with it, and it scours hundreds of resale/secondhand sites (like Grailed, Thredup, Vinted, Ebay etc) to find the top deals
Our project aims to lessen the fashion industry's carbon footprint, which accounts for 3-8% of global CO2 emissions
I have been wearing scrubs for the past few years, and got a nice promotion! I can still wear scrubs but I can also wear business casual. I was trying on outfits to wear tomorrow and they aren’t ugly… I just feel SO uncomfortable and awkward?? Is this normal??
I’ve had a couple of babies over the last three years and am rebuilding my work wardrobe for my new body. I need everything at this point but I’ve got meetings coming up in NYC soon. I want a lightweight city/office appropriate jacket for the in between seasons that’s easy to pack and is appropriate for walking into client facing meetings. Anyone had some good timeless options to suggest? I like to stay away from anything trendy as I don’t have the mental capacity to keep up with styles right now.
Since starting remote work I’ve noticed some companies have travel sometimes. I was laid off in January but noticing dress standards are a little different business to business especially now that I’m in management. Some places are really relaxed and some I see a director coming to work or at my interview in a jacket and dress shirt.
I’m horrible with fashion and probably look more like an IC than a manager but I want to change that. What’s a good affordable dress coat that I can wear over my dress shirt for a chubby guy that you’d recommend? I was thinking black is easiest to match with colors.
I'm on the hunt for kitten heels but don't know which brands are good and business appropriate. What are your recommendations?
I am attending a work conference at a HUGE convention center in August. I don’t like dresses or skirts so I’ll be wearing dress pants and blouses, but I need help with shoes. Last year I started in heeled sandals like I’d wear to work but barely made it through one day because my feet hurt so bad I couldn’t hardly walk. Day 2 I ended up in my onCloud gym shoes because I couldn’t take it! I average 20,000 steps a day at the convention center. What shoes would you wear?!
I'm not sure if this is the right sub to ask this question, but I can't think of a better one so here we go!
In about a week, I'm being flown to NYC for a combination of meetings and interviews, including a lunch meeting, with several executives from a billion-dollar company. This is a huge opportunity, and I refuse to blow it.
What on EARTH do you wear for something like this? I can handle office attire, but the lunch meeting and travel around the city throughout the day are giving me pause.
For reference, my style is incredibly minimal/classic, and usually relies on one piece that's a fun shape/color/pattern to stand out. I have a lot of tattoos on my legs and shoulders, so those areas will need to be covered.
Thanks in advance!
I work retail in a relaxed business casual setting. This skirt is actually a pair of dressy shorts and they're my favorite to use in my capsule wardrobe!
