I need to update my tights or hosiery. I'm looking not necessarily for quirky or holiday themed but sexy and good quality legware.
Women trousers. UK-based if that helps. I’ve been to so many shops and yet to find something that truly fits me. All the trousers I’ve tried look baggy on me, both front and back, they’re looking odd when I’m sitting down too, too much excess material in the front. Belt doesn’t hold anything and rides up above them. I am size 6-8 depending on the model, quite slim as I’ve recently lost lots of weight. I just want a pair that sits just right and looks good so probably looking at slim trousers.
Help please!
Anyone know of a brand that has work pants (office) that suck you in/hides your stomach?
Kohls used to have a brand that had a special elastic that would flatten your stomach. Unfortunately, they no longer carry that brand. I believe the brand was called Candies.
Are there any other brands of pants out there that help hide your stomach?
I know weight loss is a must but even when I was a size 3 & 115lbs I was still very self conscious of my stomach.
EDIT: would love a skinny pant or like a bell bottoms type of pants. I hate straight leg. Lol
I also have thick thighs & often rip my pants in the inner thigh area so need something durable
Does anyone have any advice for fashionable but comfortable foot wear? Ive had multiple stress fractures in my feet over the years and I'm looking for nice work shoes that don't kill me after a few hours. All of the ones that work best for comfort that I find are just plain ugly but I keep going back to them. I can't wear ballet flats as they just slide off my feet. I love low heels but always wind up in boots because they offer the most support and don't slip off my feet. But now I'm being known as the girl with the boots in the office. Help.
I have some brown ballet flats for outfit 3 but didn’t have them with me so therefore no shoes in the picture. Which do you like best?
Throughout my entire career I have worked from home and I am about to take on a new position and work in an office a few days a week. The dress code is business casual. I have been looking through this sub for inspiration but I wanted to ask a more specific question: if you were me and could build your office wardrobe from scratch, what would you include? I love effortlessly chic pieces.
Hello I’ve been working in fashion e-commerce before and I’ve actually owned a small business before (1M) in sales in two years I sold clothing from various vendors in Los Angeles.
I’ve closed my business a while back due to personal issues but would like to open something new. Would you suggest creating your own brand and products or just selling a variety of other peoples brands?
Went to Macys, now trapped in hotel basically. 🧾♥️
I'm mostly looking for jewelry that doesn't necessarily break the bank, but lasts. I am willing to pay for quality, but I'm starting almost from scratch.
Would love to see some of your favorite work wear jewelry!
I am looking for some higher quality basics I can wear under jackets. Everyone always recommends Uniqlo, however they don’t have very good options for tanks that go under jackets that are better quality materials. As well, I seem to be at a loss going to the mall. Everything seems so cheap or weirdly cropped (don’t get me wrong I love a good crop but with a long upper body it’s far from “professional”)
Any recs?
Hi all,
What do you think about this dress for a work Christmas party?
Context: the company is on the smaller side, not quite a start-up but similar culture in some respects. The party is taking place in a nearby restaurant in the evening.
What matters: putting in some effort to look nice but still looking like a professional you would take seriously.
Found this super cozy dress at Hollister.
I got to hand out the company Christmas gifts, so I couldn’t let an opportunity for holiday cheer go to waste! Dress is a thrifted balloon sleeve sweater dress from Free People 🎄
Y'all know the days... where you wake up and just don't have it in you to fumble around with clothes, no mental energy left to deal with it. SO... what is your fall-back outfit that always looks classy and put together?
Lately I've been loving a decently fitted long sleeve mock neck.
Context: casual, hybrid office
Tried something new… how did I do?
It’s hot again here though 😭
