Welcome to Bedroom Bands!
There are so many good musicians out there, all writing and recording in their bedrooms. If you're here, you're probably one of them.
We want to use technology to unite bedroom musicians, and to make possible international collaborations that would have been difficult even 10 years ago. We want to help create bedroom bands with members all over the world!
Just because there's no bassist in your town shouldn't mean you can't start recording your first killer EP.
Just because your singer just quit shouldn't mean you can't get your latest track finished.
Bedroom Bands is the place to meet like-minded musicians and to get your project moving.
To make this Subreddit as easy to use as possible, please use one of the following tags when you post:
[start] to announce a new track or project
[in progress] for a project that you've already begun but which you want to find a collaborator to help you with
[LFG] "looking for group", for bedroom artists that want to announce their availability (before posting an [LFG] post, maybe take a look at some of the existing projects and see if there are any you can contribute to)
[question] to ask the community a specific question
[discussion] to start a conversation about a topic related to being a bedroom musician, or to ask a more general question
[complete] To share your finished Bedroom Bands collaboration. Note: This tag is only for projects that originated on this sub
Please also share your completed project by messaging /u/bedroombands a link to your collaboration as well as details of who did what and the project's genre. I'll then add it to the wiki.
If you post a [start], [in progress] or [LFG] thread, it is best to post a link to a previous project, a video of you playing or a preview of your existing project. This lets other bedroom artists see (hear) what you're all about.
Please don't advertise professional services on this sub

We have a small studio project, and we're currently searching for a vocal
The style is something close to progressive metal, but we're not limiting ourselves too much :)
We have a lot of material, and new stuff is being created all the time
You can listen to what we already have here: https://soundcloud.com/contrail-architects.
We are looking for someone inspired by this kind of music and open to experimentation
Enthusiasm and enjoyment of the process are more important to us than high professionalism
Gender doesn’t matter the main thing is that you share our passion for music and are ready to collaborate and create new material with us
If you're interested, please send me a DM
Currently have 5 punk/pop punk tracks that need final touches and a vocalist / lyricist. I am still in my writing mood so i am sure there will be more coming soon as well.
This is an ongoing project of mine, have had different people working on it when they have time, currently no one is available to at the point to do the rest of it with me.
So anyone out there that wants to take a crack at it, here are the other releases so you can get an idea of the type of music

Hello! My name is Jerry. I'm a singer/songwriter looking to find someone to start al alt-pop duo with. Ideally someone who plays an instrument and has some music production experience. Some of my biggest inspirations are: Still Corners, Agnes Obel, Empire of The Sun, AURORA, Oh Wonder, Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey. I've released some music in the past: https://open.spotify.com/artist/1a83l2R97RFKVyEqGq7zFy?si=VqG-mj0RQ7GdTYXrfO21kw, and also have other examples of songs I've written if you want to hear more.
I've love to take the music to another level and find someone who is as committed as I am. I currently live in Cleveland, OH, but for the right connection, I've definitely consider relocating since my job is remote.
Let me know if you're interested!
Hi everyone! I’m currently looking for anyone interested in working on a big vocaloid style project! The genre of music doesn’t really matter, although pop/rock/alt/synth would be preferred. I have vocalists, just looking for songwriters/producers. I know this isn’t a lot of information, but if this piques your interest, please shoot me a dm and I can provide more info! Thank you!
Female or Male, but not professional singers.
I have a song almost finished and I want to release it before the end of the year. It's a rock/pop ballad, I have all the instrumental done, the only thing missing are the vocals.
I need a serious and committed person for this collaboration.
If you are interested send me a DM.
I'll leave my Spotify profile for you to listen to my work: https://open.spotify.com/artist/6Q7xstVK2xs74h23YUrEiv?si=tgQzJTpZQxq63r3JDK4Cfw

I'm trying to make a Mixtape with yall. I'm a producer and mixing engineer known as AlpoBeats and I love old gritty dirty boombap songs. Let's cook something up together, let's bring back the oldschool!
I've just released a pop-punk version of Mr. Brightside. and had the pleasure of featuring someone I found right here on this subreddit. Huge thanks to u/KrisKidKaos for the awesome contribution!

As the title says, I'm a drummer who's got the ability to record drums. Here's a link to my Instagram so you can look at my playing:

I have a wide-ish range of musical ability. I've been focusing a lot lately on metalcore and rock stuff, but I was playing professionally for about 4 years in essentially a cover band. (USMC Band) So, Pop, Funk, Jazz, RnB, and a lot more. I recently changed jobs, but I'd like to keep playing music with people and work on whatever tracks people want me to play on, so just give me a shout and I'll play!
I'm working on an album and I want to feature a rapper in most of the songs. I also need someone to help with the music for the tracks. I've already written the lyrics and everything, I just need help putting it all together.
I'm working this song and am a little stuck on the bass section. I usually play bass, but am not the solution on this song (here is a version with my bass playing). Would like to hear from anyone who night vibe with it and can add a bass part. I'm just thinking something that glues it all together, nothing crazy since it is a mellow song.
Hey y'all, like the title says, I wanna work on something with people cause there are like no musicians in my town.
No set genre or anything, though I do specialize in metal/rock. I would like to primarily be "the drummer" but would love to contribute with the production part and overall songwriting.
I do covers on YouTube (and some originals) if you wanna see some stuff I've done: https://youtube.com/@zacharyjmusic93?si=PdbIYgYfO3MF9Nlq
Hit me up peeps 🤙
Hello. I have an instrumental demo already made but am wanting help with making the verses and choruses to have a complete instrumental. My influences are HIM, Avril Lavigne, Killstation, and Taz. I created my own style/genre by fusing love metal and emo trap. Thank you.

Somewhat rough but very fun, I put vocals (and a small video) to the amazing instrumental posted here some weeks ago (https://www.reddit.com/r/BedroomBands/comments/1fkcllx/in_progress_made_an_instrumental_looking_for_any/) this was my first work with people from reddit and I loved it! Cheers everyone ^^!
