Is it possible to make the player's salary based on their performance and achievements? not by their overall and potential

Whenever I rebuild I always sell for picks to get young players. When I need to overhaul my roster though and go through another rebuild, I always get fired. How do I avoid this

what i mean by this is, lets say im looking at draft prospects or trade offers and i click on a player and go into their stats, is there a button to go back to the page i was on prior?

I've just had to go to "roster" or something on the left side of the screen, but maybe you can do this on the web version? I downloaded it as on app on my windows computer.

It's something I've been wondering. I love to do historical simulations and that's effortless in BasketballGM thanks to it have all the rosters and draft classes for each season as a stock part of the game. The Baseball, Hockey, and Football games don't offer this at all. At best, you can maybe go digging for someone's posted league file or make your own. It's a bit of a letdown since no one's historical roster file is going to go through the trouble of having more than MAYBE 3 years' worth of draft classes tops from what I could find. It's not the same where you can just go through each year knowing the right players will be available.

Does anyone know why this is the case? Why does only this game get that special treatment?

Sometimes when I’m in a longer simulated league I will get attached to a player and won’t trade him even if the deal is really good. I can’t be the only one tho?
