Does anybody know if each digit in the map seed corresponds with specific elements on the map (terrain, resources, lakes, rivers, etc)? Is it totally random or is there order to the madness?

Hello, I havnt played Banished in quite a while, a random steam update made me jump back in last week. On a whim i just typed in my birthday for the seed.
It turned out to be a fun map: lots of flat space, but a challenging layout for logistics. It truly is a valleys map, there are several great broad loacations but you will need to tunnel to connect them.
I'm not the best player, and keep hitting the "everyone dies of starvation despite having plenty of food stored" thing every time my pop goes over about 300. but its a fun map regardless.

I am attempting to make a another run at a banished play through however I always have trouble with the Forster's hut and other forest buildings. Is there any seed out there that has a island or other segregated/cordoned off area that would be an ideal and easily identifiable location for buildings in the woods.
Not just making a tile flat but setting the elevation. Alternately is there any way to import actual terrain height from google maps?

PS: Also, no disrespect intended, but can people please specify in the post title what mod they need seeds for or are providing seeds for? Cause there's several map seed mods and it's impossible to know which ones are being discussed. There's map generator, map generator plus, more terrain mod, and I believe CC has it's own map generation changes built in so different maps for all.
I'd like to place a row of lakes at one edge of the map to make it look like an ocean. Is that a thing I can do?
I'm looking for a seed, most likely Large and Valley (though it could be a Mountain style I guess), that has a VERY large lake with no land or islands in it. I'm looking to utilize the terrain level mod and create an Atlantis like settlement (Ring'd islands). I'm going to need a LARGE area of water to be able to fully build this out. Anyone know of a seed that would work here?

Wow. Lots of great places to put docks. Started with a grain, which is always nice. Hairpin river aligned so you can have many trading posts. If you put a trading post at the sharp turn in the river, the trading boat does a drift around the corner when docking. There also appears to be bug if you put a trading post before the band in the river- when it leaves, it goes upstream and takes a shortcut across land to the other leg of the river. Whee.

Lots of flat enough terrain for at least one gather/hunting/herb/forest nodes between most mountains if willing to sacrifice tiny amounts of circle space.

I own banishedmaps which allows users to submit their own banished seeds, but originally made it for the un-modded version.
Is there any way to salvage it, or adapt it to the new major mods that change map seeds?
I'm assuming map seeds work the same with mods like Colonial Charter?
