Hello. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with Roamless esim. I'm looking into it for my 3 months of travelling through the Balkans. Each country I plan to visit is serviced by Roamless but I'm wondering if it works well. Thanks.
Pozdrav svima!
If I am bulgarian American, do I have a good grape juice tolerance, because I see my parents and they have a pretty good one, and I want to know how much I can drink. Last year in bulgaria I drank whine one day, a huge cup of grape juice on my cousins birthday, and some grape before that. I'm 15 almost
Ive been reading on the news about recent boycotts of supermarkets in both Croatia and Serbia. I heard that the prices are quite more expensive in Croatia and Serbia than in Germany for example, which makes 0 sense to me since the salaries are much higher in Germany. Anyone that lives there (local) that can shed a bit more light on this? Thank you!
Hey everyone! 👋
I’m curious about where you live—what do you love about it, and what frustrates you? I’m looking for a place that’s safe, has a good quality of life, and offers a mix of nature and social life, where kids can play freely and communities are welcoming.
I’m 26, from Greece, and considering working remotely soon. While Greece is beautiful, living here full-time has its challenges. I’m exploring places like Serbia, Bosnia, Romania, Moldova, Poland, Georgia, and Armenia but open to suggestions!
If you live in or know of places that fit this vibe, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Looking forward to your recommendations! 😊
There is this video from a Milsim video for Red Divide The Bosnian Pocket milsim event , I’m not sure if this song is from the Balkans region, but by the event name, I’m assuming it’s from the region, this song has been stuck in my head and was wondering if anyone would know it? Thank you!
Dropull has increased by 135% and in Finiq & Sarandë by 8.4% and 11.8%. How can this shift in population be explained?
While going from Srebrenica to Belgrade, after crossing the border and passing through villages for about half an hour, I reached a town where big construction equipments were displayed in the center. Can you help me find the name of this town in Serbia?

I'm currently driving around Europe and am heading towards the Balkans in February. I'll be driving from italy through slovenia/croatia and was originally hoping to stop off in Southern Bosnia. However, i've started to get concerned about snow this time of the year, and can't afford a pair of snow tyres, and i really dont have much experience driving in the snow.
So im wondering, where would be best for me to drive to and avoid snowy roads? Im assuming highways would be fairly doable? Was considering South Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania, or Macedonia. Reckon i'd be able to get through feb/march without too much snow trouble? I've driven in these countries before and the driving is often...interesting (mainly looking at you Albania), but never in the snow
I guess south croatia would be best but dont think i'll have enough Shenghem allowancd (Im british).
Thanks so much!
I recently visited Montenegro, a country so stunning it could be on a postcard, if only the people matched the scenery. Everywhere I went, folks had this ultra-serious, don’t-mess-with-me vibe. I don’t know if it’s a national sport to look unapproachable, but they’ve mastered it. A few even managed to combine distant stares with just a pinch of arrogance. Now, don’t get me started on Podgorica. The roads there? Absolute chaos. Crossing the street felt like entering the Hunger Games, except instead of tributes, you’re dodging cars driven by people who seem to think stop signs are suggestions. I swear I nearly met my maker and he wasn’t impressed either. If you are asking for directions - that’s bold move. It felt like I’d asked them to solve calculus, they just give death stare and rarely who helps. Empathy? Must’ve been taking a holiday of its own. So, tell me, is this the culture? A performance art piece called Serious Faces and Questionable Driving? Or did I just catch everyone on a bad day? I’m not here to throw shade (okay, maybe a little), but I’d love to hear is that in general like that? That was the worst Balkan country I have visited with the worst capital city (possibly in the world)
