    • Take Jury Duty! Understand Jury Nullification. Stanhope Explains.

    • It is 100% legal to openly record police in all 50 states as long as you do not physically interfere with the officer. (It's also probably wise to speak as little as possible, but DO make note of details - location, names, etc)

    • Police officers do not have a "reasonable expectation of privacy" while preforming their public duties.

    • If an officer says it's illegal to record him, that officer is lying to try and trick you into shutting off the camera so you won't have proof of them violating your rights.

DA of the county he lived in during death of wife had to recuse herself because they were having an affair together at the time of his wife's death

    QUESTION

Why would an officer (M 40s) just a few years from retirement suddenly go into the private sector and what happens to the pension??? (I suspect the officer was fired). This is in CA. Would he now have to wait until he is 65 to collect his pension?

Even in a situation where I think a cop’s actions are all justified they still show such a disturbing lack of humanity. Curious to hear if others feels the same

So here you’ve got a mom who is obviously panicking because she’s speeding to make sure the movers don’t drive off from her new house and now she’s also getting a speeding ticket. In the heat of the moment she makes a really stupid move and gets out the car to see if the movers are right there. She tells the officer give me a second, but of course no officer is going to do that and she gets placed in cuffs. No issue there she made a stupid move and that’s what happens.

But afterwards when you’ve got the lady under control, you hear her explanation for her actions and see all the evidence around you….just let it go. There’s a little girl watching her mother get attacked from her perspective. You don’t need to traumatize this kid any further. I agree with everything the mom says when she’s speaking to the other officer. Give her the speeding ticket, even give her another ticket for her stupid behavior, but you don’t have to go through with the arrest. He even refuses to let her call her husband when she’s asking and the other officer has to handle that.

This guy acts like he can’t even fathom why she would tell him I don’t want to get all the way in this car and leave my daughter all alone. All the comments on the video are noting but praising the cop, but again even though I don’t think his initial actions are wrong at all I still think you can have a fucking heart and take everything into consideration.
