When driving my 218i on the motorway there seems to be a loud scratching/screeching sound coming from the top of my driver side window. It’s only at high speeds no matter the conditions. What could be causing this? Missing lagging? Cheers

Hi I’ve just bought an F22 style 2 series M Sport coupe it has frameless windows and the drivers side isn’t sealing full when closed so when on the motorways I can hear the air leaking through anyone know of a fix or a rough price it would cost to sort ??

My biggest interest is HAS ANYONE TURNED THE NEW LED DASH BACK TO THE BEAUTIFUL ORANGE COLOR? Any leads on this would be wonderful. I have light sensitivity and only now realize how much I love the old dash colors.

Today I bought a 2016 BMW 218i Sport Coupe. I filled it up with petrol to about 3/4s and had a range of 330 miles. I’ve been driving it around (as someone with a new car does) and the range has dropped all the way down to 230 miles! I’ve mainly had it in COMFORT mode, but have also switched between ECO PRO and SPORT to test them out. Is there a reason/problem for this massive drop? I know I haven’t driven 100 miles yet. Thanks!

Hello everyone, So just how the title says I just bought my first f22 230i 252 HP B48 the price was i believe very fair 16.5k €

It has a very rich equipment(extras from factory).

The seller told me what small stuff ( it’s really small some stuff outside “makeup” that I can correct easily myself ). It has 155k km on the Odometer and was always serviced on time it had 1 owner before me.

Is there any thread or link what I should keep in mind to check myself or what I have to check in a garage, btw I live in Bavaria home of BMW so that shouldn’t be a problem but I would like to do everything myself what is possible since my dream car was the e30 and the f22 gave me the same feeling but with the modern touch.

I’ll pick the car the day after tomorrow.

I tested the car and it seemed all right. For the 3-5km i tested it I didn’t hear any weird sounds.

i recently got 2016 228i convertible and i’m at the point where i would like to start doing some minor cosmetic/performance upgrades. any suggestions as to where to start would be great!

New to me 2018 BMW M240i with a 6 speed . It has 13,500 miles and all service records are on time. Anything I should look out for?

Do you guys think its worth for 14.9? Are B58s reliable up to this mileage? Won’t be racking too many miles onto it, also just realized, is there even such thing as a 240 I thats non-M sport? Theres no badges on it, what should i look for too make sure its a 240
