I’m really enjoying LFM on multiplayer atm but I really wished there was a set of races that where every one hour instead of 2!
Hi friends.
I have a Logitech G920, what better FFB setup for me?
After trying several configurations, I'm not sure I'll find the most optimal one. I know that this ffb thing is going to taste. Those of you who have this steering wheel, what are you using?
I am currently using:
TM panel: 75 / 100 / 100 / 0 / 0
Game Settings: "Default+" -> 55 / 5 / 75 / 40
I would appreciate it if those of you who have this wheel would share your configurations. Thanks!
I just got this game to finally see my wheel, feels ok, but in the gt3 car , if I go slow car will accelerate, but if I get on it, it's like I broke the rear-end and car will no longer accelerate. Wtf. I go to pit, reset go again does the same thing. Recline the rpm in 6th gear and car is slowing down. I gave up went back to iracing.
Hello,
I m thinking about getting a new GPU for around 300 € / $. The new Intel ARC B580 seems to be a good deal. Right now I‘m playing with a Radeon RX580 8GB and Ryzen 5 3600.
Does anyone has experience with the old Intel ARC A7xx, or even the new B5xx Series?
I am currently looking to buy a moza fsr wheel mainly for formula and lmdh racing both on ams2 and iracing and my question is that does the telemetry work on it on ams2? I saw a post about this a year back but I don’t know if it has been fixed since then.
I assume the timing board measures the distance to the leader. But can anyone help me understand if above is a glitch? It stays this way for quite a while, and sometimes up until I pass the person ahead. Obviously, I’m way behind (I’m playing a championship and try to avoid resetting as much as I can, so just running laps after repairing damage), so this isn’t a huge deal. But still curious.
Also, is there any way to convert the scoreboard to just show the interval to the next car/car behind?
The game is fun, but whit some cars is very dificult. Can you recommend some intermediate configuration so that the game is not so complicated for me?
Feeling the road undulations and suspension makes it so natural to drive. Driving on the edge is exhilarating.
I have over 800hrs in ACC, a couple in iRacing, and recently LMU; imho this is costly the best i’ve felt.
I managed to tweak the ffb for each game. AMS2 really speaks my brains language.
Noted want to slam on the brakes just to feel the sensations.
Good job.
typo in title ‘saw’ should ‘share’
i’m having this issue where the game is not showing all the content i bought from dlc’s. i tried verifying the files, restarting the game, pc and steam. nothing has helped.
I have the base game. After leaving the pits in a multiplayer lobby I am disconnected.
Does this happen because I don’t own the dlc?
Anyone using these, if so what settings seems to work for you.
Hi all, unfortunately I am yet to get my steering working in ams2. I seem to map and calibrate however as soon as I jump in the car no steering.
My wheelbase is a ddpro, I have it mapped and calibrated in the sim.
I have tried several ways of making this work to no avail.
Any assistance will be met with great appreciation
Downloaded the game again and getting in some practice. ACC is my main sim basically.
After practicing the Nordschleife, I just set the vehicle record on Nürb (shallow chicane) with the Porsche.
I'm sure it's not a "special" time and it will be beaten pretty quickly though.....
I'd like to know your favorite car/track combination!
I tried joining a race in Circuit De La Sarthe last night and it was my first race ever and couldn't join due to not having DLC. That being said, how much DLC do you need to run online races? Can I join the race if theres certain cars I don't have?
I'm quite new to computers and simracing, but I'm having a problem that I don't know how to solve. When creating rooms to compete online, everything goes great until it's time to go out on the track. I put it in first gear, step on the accelerator and nothing. I don't leave the pits. The truth is that I don't dare to play much because I have no idea what half of the things are. In some I see the explanation on the right and in others I don't. But I don't know why this problem occurs. If you could help me I would appreciate it since this game is helping me a lot. Thank you very much in advance to all of you who try to help me.
Is there a way to fix the feeling of not actually rolling in certain parts of the tracks and cars. There’s this sensation that I’m hovering or floating through a corner or chicane.
Is there a way to get this sorted out with ffb or camera angles?
Update: Thanks for all the advice. I’m on a DD Moza and it is certainly not clipping. I think it has to do with the look to apex head movement I had set up. The custom FFB file I got a hold of made the car feel like it was ”rolling” a little more but wasn’t the solution.
Problem was in lower speed corners when braking hard and getting on the throttle again and the car felt like it was floating or sliding. I’m pretty sure Reiza is working on these things a lot because this was way worse before 1.6 update. This game is great fun on the LFM servers.
I think the hybrids and hypercars are done extremely well, they are really much fun to drive around the tracks. And they feel way better than many other cars.
I never really suffered with my driving style pre 1.6, however i know zero about tire setups and find my soft slicks will get eaten badly within 5 laps.
Super V8 at sebring and my inside front tire life (right handside) will be destroyed. Hard slicks doesnt offer the same grip and feel as (dry conditions)
how can i improve their life outside of NOT pushing the car? I havent done a deep dive and wrapped my head around tire pressures yet so was looking for advice. Cheers
Edit : solved.
Adjust brake bias. Avoid lockups and potentially reduce brake pressure. Thanks guys
Hi to all ,
finally thanks to danielkart on Reiza Forums , I solved the issue of vibrations on my T818 .
Take a look ;)
Is it normal for LMDh vehicles to be driven with automatic shifting in races? I'm asking because I often see YouTuber who don't use paddle shifters.
Before, i could join multiplayer sessions without owning the DLCs. Today i played and i couldn’t join any races that were on tracks I didn’t own. (Spa for example). I was wondering if they changed the multiplayer lobbies and you now have to own DLCs to join the DLC maps??
I just got humbled in the rain at Watkins Glenn Short (inner loop). I could not maintain a race pace at all in my AMG GT4 so I humbly come before you asking for tips, primarily what lap time should I be shooting for?
For context I race at 102 difficulty and have a 3 hr race setup. First hour of the race was dry with light clouds. I started 5th but moved to 1st in the first lap and worked up to a 12 second lead over second place and was lapping the backmarkers when rain started coming down. Lap times were basically around 1:15.
In dry conditions I run with TC and ABS at 2 and I raised both to 6 in the wet. Most of the tips I've come across suggested setup changes but alas, can't do that midrace. Seems like all I can really do is adjust TC and ABS so now I think its a matter of discovering how hard I should push.
Would be nice if we could set dynamic weather with random slots but also have something like a forecast on race day. Unless I'm missing something if I set the weather to random and dynamic progression with random slots, I have no way of knowing if rain will come. Thats not the realistic target I was shooting for.
I wish Reiza would add Dirt Oval stuff. Appeals more to a blue collar North American audience as well as Aussies.
