Looking for recommendations on where to watch the game tomorrow night. We are visiting town to tour the university with our kiddo on Monday and are not familiar with the area.
I'm considering applying for a master's at AU because the program looks great. BUT when I told my friends about it, they said I probably wouldn't feel safe as an international Latin student living there.
I wanna believe that's just a bad rap, but I'd love to get some insights before making a decision :)
1 Ticket GA.
Paid $123 with taxes and fees. Asking $90 obo.
They're $137 with taxes and fees now.

Hey yall, my long distance bf is coming to Auburn soon for the first time. What are some good date spots in the area that you recommend for people new to Auburn?
So I bought two VIP tickets to this concert on Saturday, unfortunately my date for the evening cancelled. I’ve reached out to a few friends who are either already going or have prior commitments. I’d still like to go with someone and if you’d be interested in going, I (M, 38, AU grad) would like to connect. I may just go alone, as I’ve also already booked an AirBnb, a friend suggested posting here. I’d also be willing to part with the set if anyone is interested in an offer.
I am a senior in high school and I got accepted to Auburn recently. I have a 29 on my current ACT and i wish to take it once more to raise it up to 30. So my question is should I just stick with 29 or try to aim for 30. It says in mid november competitve merit scholarships are awarded to admitted students. If I already get my scholarship in november can I try to take my ACT again and get a higher scholarship? And also do I have a less chance of getting a merit based scholarship as I take my test and send my score in december. Any advices would be appreciated!!!
I toured Evergreen recently, and everything looked pretty good on paper. I saw some very mixed reviews online though. Anyone here have experience with these apartments, and is there anything I should know about?
I’m moving to Auburn in late December/early January and I’ll be closest to the Iron tiger gym & Max Fitness but can’t decide which one to choose. Iron seems to have sanitary issues the past few months? While Max seems to have some money issues with charging people and I REALLY don’t want that.
Hello.
I need to sublease my apartment at the Beacon starting in January. Rent is $520 (I have a discount to $495 but to be honest, I am not sure that carries over) + Utilities (typically $60). 3Bed+3/Bath with two freshmen roommates. Walmart and campus are about a mile away either direction. PM for more details.
Thanks!
I will be directing a Scrabble Tournament this weekend in Auburn, Alabama, Over a dozen competitive players from Alabama and Georgia will meet to play 7 head-to-head games of Scrabble. If you are interested in seeing what tournament Scrabble is like (we use clocks! we score lots of points! we play weird words!), feel free to drop by the "Newspaper Reading Room" within the Auburn University Library; we will be competing all day Saturday.
Details on past and future Scrabble tournaments in Auburn may be found at this webpage:

Feel free to email me (address on that webpage) if you have any questions.
My cars leaking coolant and need to find a mechanic I can trust. I know you’ve gotta be careful about mechanics in college towns taking advantage of college kids. Does anyone have a mechanic they would recommend?
Hi! I’ve never voted in Auburn before. I’ve actually only voted once anywhere before. I work 8-5. I was just wondering how I ahould go about this. I don’t know what time the polls open but should I get up and go before work? I have an hour lunch break from 1-2. If I go then, would I make it back to work on time? If I go at 5 when I get off, will I be there until 8? Idk any advice is appreciated.
Hello all, my husband and I just moved to the Dadeville area (30 mins from Auburn) and found out we are expecting. I know of trustworthy OBs/Midwives in Bham, but am looking for someone closer than a 2 hour drive. Does anyone have any recommendations? Looking for someone that won’t force a C-Section upon delivery (unless absolutely critical). Thank you for your help.
Do you need to submit proof of funds as an international student to even be considered for admission?. What's the lowest can COA be for an international student. I have an efc of 10-12k a year. I also have 3.8 GPA, 1490 SAT and a lot of ecs and honors.
I am looking for MS in Computer Science (Fall 2025) with a focus on AI & ML/Data Science. Want to know if the university provides any specialized tracks for them or any separate courses/programs? Or are they just available as electives in main CS program?
If available, will the final degree show any specialization?
Sup. Moved here a few months ago for a job. Am 28.
My buddies are married, cuffed, senior citizens or gay.
I’m lookin for some single guy friends to go out drinking with.
'02 alum here. Never had a problem getting a class I wanted...never had a problem with housing...never had a problem getting a seat on the tiger transit. Is attending Auburn really the rat race this article makes it out to be? If so, that's awful to hear...and I have an 11th grader that wants to go to Auburn.
I’ve got a couple of parking tix for sale in the McWhorter Lot if anyone is interested. $30 each. Feel free to DM me.
We’ve been to Choctafaula for the pumpkin patch and haunted trail stuff. Just wondering if anyone knew of fun things going on like trunk or treats/movies/ food event type things.
Newish to the area, from Columbus. Looking for a dive to hangout at after work, something with cheap beer and hippies would be the atmosphere I'm tryna find.
1 br/1 ba $925/month + utilities (it's usually a little less than $100 for me). 9 minute drive from campus/downtown located on a 9 hole golf course (free for residents) pool, hot tub, sauna, gym, tennis and basketball courts. Current lease runs through the end of July, Dm me if you're interested
So this may not be a popular post and I apologize ahead of time if anyone is offended, but I am looking for adult entertainment for a bachelor party in April. Got a house on Lake Martin for my younger brother’s bachelor party. Not sure what our entertainment options are. Can’t find any options on Gentlemen’s Clubs in area so wondering if there are any professional dancers that do outcalls or something similar.
