So we know that both Jim Balsillie and Alexander Medvedev (the then-KHL commissioner when the Thrashers were sold) were after the Thrashers at some point in the late 2000s.
And it was quite the saga about the Thrashers ownership, and both wanted to relocate the team, to Hamilton and Quebec City respectively.
So I'm a lifelong Coyotes fan, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to continue and be a fan of the UHC. Wondering how many Thrashers fans became Keys fans?
With a little visual assistance from NHL23 from EA Sports. I also recognize some elements of the uniform design and branding are a little inaccurate or lacking especially the Alternate Uniform. I was in a hurry at the time to get this set up at the time, since my Dad and I play frequently cooperatively and the vintage Thrashers logo’s were not available for use in the branding options (unfortunately, still isn’t in the latest versions of this game. But is a topic for another time). Sincerest apologies for the inconvenience!
I was gifted this Atlanta Thrashers hockey stuck recently and am struggling to figure out whos autograph this is. Any help is appreciated - I'm struggling to be 100% on any of the letters. Thank you!
Hello ATL/Georgia hockey fans, with some very invested and committed groups already involved it looks like you’ll inevitably be getting the NHL back, and that’s amazing! As a curious hockey enthusiast I was wondering, what is the consensus among fans of the future team being named the Thrashers vs something new entirely? I actually kinda like the Thrashers name and I loved the swirly logo (if you go with Thrashers you HAVE to bring that back imo). It seems like the thing to do these days is have the fans pick the franchise name via online survey like what Ryan Smith is doing with Utah…would the majority of fans say Thrashers or something else? Just curious to know as a non-Georgian hockey fan. Thank you!
PS ignore all the haters, you will keep this one!

There’s some intriguing speculation floating around! I’ve heard rumors that the Atlanta Braves might also be exploring the idea of bringing the NHL back to Atlanta. Given their significant presence in Atlanta sports, it seems plausible they could be considering this venture. More interestingly, could the Cobb Galleria Centre be a potential site for a new arena? This location would be strategic, especially considering its proximity to Battery Atlanta, potentially creating a massive sports and entertainment district. What do you all think about this possibility? Let’s discuss any insights or additional rumors you might have heard!
