Hello and Hey, new found sub-reddit.
Due to my current Phone be nearly dead, My Number know by spammers and Personal reason´s
I will terminate my Contract Next year, and there for the option of a New Phone will be open.
I was thinking to switch to Apple, while the Phone is kind of Clear for me, The Ipad Situation is a total maze for me.
All i know is, i like it large and small with a pen.
Its been mostly used for Drawing, Taking Notes, Movies, Music and Smarthome Usage.
Can you give me a Ipad + Ipad Mini + Apple Pencil combination?
For me its important that the Support last long, The battery is long living and The Penicl is usable to both Ipads. ( so no pencil switching )
It does not need to the "The top of the line" it just needs to work, steady and long.
Good morning,
I’m looking at getting a MBP 16 for law school and after, using it until either it’s not supported by Apple any longer or it dies.
Generally speaking I like to buy a step or two above than what I need now and it has suited me well in the past(I greatly prefer to have power so that I never hit the ceiling, but also don’t necessarily want to buy a Ferrari when an Audi would do fine).
I really don’t have a base, except 16gb of ram is too small for me(I was at 12-14gb using an M2MAX, just using office) and I’d like to have multiple monitor support if I decide to use a dock.
What’s the general consensus of which one would be best for me?
I was thinking m4 max with 48gb of ram. But I want to check my sanity.
I don’t envision doing graphics design, beyond learning and messing around with photoshop or something similar. I manage networks, surf the web, and use iMazing which is or at least was a huge ram hog.
Guys, I have an iPhone XS Max and the screen is going on one side. It’s annoying. Interfering with everything. Which iPhone do you recommend? I am going through my carrier on a payment plan. The 15 is less per monthly installment. I can try to turn in my XS max for $350 trade in.
EDIT: I can repair the screen for $129, but I don’t want to sink anymore money in this phone. Already paid $250, lost $250 as I did not return old phone. I have a bad condition XS Max.
Hi guys, i am a software developer who works with ai, machine learning and virtual machines, and am planning on getting on of the new M4 MacBook pros.
Fo my case i was considering either:
1.) M4 Pro, 12-Core CPU, 16 Core GPU, 48gb ram, 1TB storage
Or
2.) M4 Pro, 14-Core CPU, 20 Core GPU, 24gb ram, 1TB storage
For my case which would you guys recommend?
Also furthermore should i hold off until black friday to get a $200 gift card, or will that not be supported with this new laptop?
I have an iPhone 15 but I really don’t like it because I feel like I have to charge it all the time and I miss my iPhone pro. Should I upgrade to the iPhone 16 pro or go with the Max? Thanks for the advice
Hi everyone! I want to start making content on YouTube and TikTok in 2025 and am overwhelmed on what to get for an entry point.
For context, I would want to do things such as greensceeen movie, game and tv show reviews and perhaps try and capture content from my ps5 over for capture.
Currently I have a 2015 MacBook Pro that literally crashes after running Google chrome for more than 2 minutes. Given the iMac, Mac mini, and MacBook what version and potential configuration would you suggest getting that can deliver on uploading materials without sacrificing performance or too much on the wallet?
Thank you so much!
Hi! Does anyone know where I can buy a genuine Apple Magsafe batter pack in Europe. I just see a lot of fakes
so, let’s get to the point, i’m traveling to the u.s. in dec 1st and have two questions:
tysm in advance for the answers!!
I’m looking to downgrade from a 13 pro max. It’s very bulky and heavy and I don’t love it after carrying it around since a few months after launch. I love everything else about the phone, just not its gargantuan size and bulk. I’d also rather not go older than a 12, I do value ProMotion greatly, and I’d like a good camera. TYIA :)
i have an iphone x but its really time now,at christmas i want to upgrade and i was thinking iphone 13 pro,do you think it makes sense? if yes do you know where i can buy it new(i'm in europe btw and i don't trust refurbished phones) thanks to all
i’m a student who absolutely needs the best noise cancellation for my studies due to my university being noisy most of the time. is the airpods 4 anc good enough or should i splurge a little bit more for the pro 2? also worried because what if a new airpods pro comes out, should i just get the 4? thank you to who can help :-)
I considering a used 13 pro and a normal 14, and both have the same chipset (if I not mistaken), so which one is more future proof, need your help.
I currently have iphone 11 pro which I love but my battery health is destroyed,my lock button doesn't work properly and when I talk to people I have to put it on speaker because I can't hear anything when I put it on my ear...I need to buy a new phone but I am not sure if I should wait for iphone 17 to come out or is iphone 16 pro worthy enough...I read somewhere that it has battery problems Any advice?
I just ordered Se2, was it smart choice or should I gotten the 10. I didn’t do much research for how old se2 is compared to 10 for the price difference wouldn’t be better get 10? I’m mainly using this watch for trail running, working out and for my health. 🫡Thanks fam
Debating Between iPhone 15 Pro vs. iPhone 16 Pro – Need Advice!
I’m about to get a new iPhone and I’m torn between the iPhone 15 Pro (512GB) and the iPhone 16 Pro (256GB). Here are the details:
1. iPhone 15 Pro 512GB (Blue Titanium)
• Device per month: €32.00
• Plan: €25.00
• One-time fee: €582.41
2. iPhone 16 Pro 256GB (Black Titanium)
• Device per month: €26.00
• Plan: €25.00
• One-time fee: €606.41
I shoot quite a bit of video, so I’m not sure if 256GB will be enough. I’ve also heard there isn’t a huge difference between the 15 Pro and 16 Pro in terms of features and performance. Which would you choose, and why? Is the extra storage of the 512GB version more important than the newer 16 Pro, or am I missing out by going with the 15 Pro?
i Was thinking of trading in my WiFi only iPad pro 5th gen 12.9 inch for a iPad 10 generation that has WiFi and Cellular with T-Mobile I wanted to know if it’s a good idea in my situation. I had the iPad pro 5th gen since it was first released I would use the Ipad 10 generation 2022 version for cloud gaming like geforce now and Xbox game pass mostly, Apple arcade games and some youtube videos I do usually take my Ipad everywhere I go I am a heavy Ipad user I play heavy cloud games on geforce now like boulders gate 3, sea of thieves, witcher 3, and hitman 3 I have been relying on a t-mobile hotspot currently with 100GB but I ended up using all the data quickly within a few days because of GeForce now. FYI My family and I already have t-mobile home internet we just got very recently I just am just going to go out more often then usual now. I already spoke with a t-mobile representative who said I could cover the majority of the cost with the trade-in value I just want to know if this would be a good idea in my situation I know it might be a bit of a downgrade but my iPad Pro like I mentioned is WiFi only I just want to know and make sure I'm not messing my gaming experience up with this plan thank you for all the responses and help and sorry if this is the wrong place to post I'm fairly new to posting questions
I’m not a sophisticated user— the camera is the function most important to me, for landscape photography. I don’t need another large screen (I’d rather use the price difference for some other feature(s) that appeal to me), but I’m technologically illiterate. What are the practical differences between the various non-max options of the 15 and 16? Also, I know that sometimes it’s worth it to wait until the next model, but it seems like the 15 and 16 came out quite close together. I can wait until whenever the next one comes out, if we’re expecting any new worthwhile specs or functions.
I just saved an old lady from her burning apartment. In the process my apple watch strap broke off and fallen and my phone fell out of my pocket as i kicked and rammed the door in .. i did not notice until i was talking to a reporter.. i asked the detectives to retrieve my items, so they did and my sludge hammer. They were damaged. The detectives said to let apple know and they will replace it. I spoke to apple care and they claimed thats not how it works.. has anyone herd of such a thing? Or were the cops being silly? Lmk if this is a thing. Please and thank you.
I currently use the regular iPhone 12 and want to upgrade to a new phone since my battery life is horrible. Is it worth it to spend the extra 100$ for the iPhone 16 plus or is the 15 plus enough?
I’ve been using 8 plus for 6y now and considering upgrade to 16pro or should i just hold out for another year? PS there nth wrong with the phone, it just the battery health is at 65% and have to backup the storage every once a while.
I really want the 5x zoom feature + a bigger phone, but I really don’t know if it’s worth spending a large sum of money on the latest phone.
I been using my iPhone 12 Pro since 2020 and battery capacity is at 85%. Still works good and in good shape. Thinking whether it’s time now to upgrade or wait it out for the 17 as there’s still iOS updates rolling out.
I'm looking at a used iPhone labeled 'no active. The seller says it wasn't activated on Apple's website but doesn't have a warranty. Is this a common practice? What could be the reasons behind this? Is it safe to buy such a phone?" lam looking for an i phone 14 pro/ pro max
I'm an average user who just scrolls through social media listen to few musics and take few photos I'm currently using a budget android phone of 2gb RAM 32gb ROM (very laggy) and I do hear about 60hz refresh rate on the iphone 16 is it that bad?? Will the 16 be enough for me or I should go for the pro
Hl, I curently have iphone 11 and its time is coming, I am chosing between iPhone 15 pro and iPhone 16 pro. Difference is 100$ or so and I live in Europe where Apple Inteligence will not be for another few years. With this being said is it worth going for the 16 Pro and waiting for it or should I just buy cheaper one which I can have right now. Since I still study money really are a thing for me and paying 100$ for few features is just not worth for me. Thats why I neee real opinions to choose the right one. Thanks
I want to get a protective Mag safe case that has a back ring for a stand as well as comfort grip.
I heard that the Torras 360 case built in ring is not comfortable as a hand grip — has anyone hand experience with this being true?
While I love the idea of this case (built in ring that is still mag safe), I think using it as a grip is a must. Is the ring absolutely incompatible as a hand grip?
If so, I thought maybe I’d just go with a spigen case with the Torras Omni ring.
I don’t super like the inconvenience of removing the ring to charge or car mount though.
Thanks for any insight!
I’m thinking about getting an S10 sometime between now and next month, how many good apps are actually free and don’t require a subscription? Is it even worth it to get an Apple Watch without being willing to pay for extra subscriptions?
I have these apps in mind right now:
SmartGym
Gentler Streak Fitness Tracker
Awesome Habits: Habit tracker
Stress Check
Stress Monitor
Welltory
Train Fitness
StressWatch
Pedometer++
MinimalList: to do list&widget
Gym Workout Tracker Liftlog+
Dark Noise: Ambient Sounds
WorkOutDoors
WaterMinder
AutoSleep
Hevy
Liftin’
If anyone has more detailed user experiences with these apps, I’d love to hear them. TYIA :)
Also, I’m sorry if this isn’t the correct sub.
