Hey all—I know talking about other people’s BO and Hygiene is kinda frowned upon but why are there so many dudes at this gym that either don’t wear deodorant or are ignorant to the fact that they stink?
It’s a large number of dudes too this is not an isolated incident. Just be aware of those around you—-they may not be into that.
Anyone else dealing with the woman near Berwyn/Ashland who yells and screams at people all day, threatening them and cursing at them? Who can we call about this?
Has anyone lived there? It looks great on the inside, but there are barely any reviews and the ones that are posted are terrible.

There's a loud chime that sounds several times a day, always in sets of three, that ring out through the neighborhood. Does anyone know what it is?
Edit: Mystery solved. It's one of my neighbors' loud-ass back-up alarm on their car. I wasn't aware compact SUVs even had those.
I’ve just moved into the neighborhood any recommendations on a painter / general handyman?
Anyone have a threading recommendation for eyebrows?
Does anybody know which absolute selfish dickheads are setting off fireworks near here, pretty often? It's always around 930-10 and is brief, can anyone tell me where l they are? It has happened maybe 10x the last 6 weeks or so.
I would like to put a sign up asking them to stop.
They are terrifying:
And im sure many many more. It is incredibly upsetting and selfish.
I just want it to stop. It isn't even close to 4th July.
Thx folks!
My friends car was broken into Saturday, in front of Strange Cargo, at lunchtime, my purse was stolen out of a large tote bag from behind the passenger seat on the floor.
Wife and I were awoken around 5:10-5:15am by an almighty boom. Anyone else? Do we know of anything?
We hear crashes on rare occasions amongst other things but this pulled us both out of a deep sleep and been unsettled since.
My coworker told me to come to Andersonville while my friend and I are in Chicago, but he didn't say what to do here. From what I've managed to gather, he probably wanted us to see the night life. We're both fairly inept socially, and neither of us can drink. Any recommendations for places to go in the neighborhood?
Hey all!
Looking to move near to or very near andersonville sometime during spring and The Draper caught my eye. Im ok with the price but some of the reviews especially on yelp are definitely making me think. Also looking into Andersonville point.
Does anyone have any experience with these building? Would love to hear your feedback!
Thanks!
I got one big bag from Costco. Will that be enough? I just moved to the neighborhood
My roommate at my new house uses T-Mobile and he's been having issues with his call reception and receiving texts at times. I'm currently on Verizon and haven't experienced any issues, but I also am paying more than I want and really dislike Verizon's customer service. I'm thinking of switching to Google-fi or Mint and definitely prioritizing data, but curious to know if other folks here have experience with either or other providers. Any one else experience issues with call reception or sending/receiving texts? Does your service get deprioritized during peak hours? Or is my house a dead zone?
I'm new to the area and looking to get a small storage space for some tools and extra furniture. I'm curious if folks here have had any experiences with Honore Storage which seems like a more local company. I've used Public Storage before, and they are the closest spot to my house, but they also tend to jack up monthly rates after 6 months and aren't the most transparent with their pricing policy ("rates can change at anytime").
I'd rather go with a smaller company, even if it's further away, if they are more up front or consistent. Any information would be helpful, thanks!
Feel free to specify any particular ordering instructions, like texting Jet’s directly or calling El Ranchito.
Does anyone know of a rough timeline of when Northbound Red Line trains will stop at Bryn Mawr station again? I tried looking for updates on the CTA website but struck out…
A friend in Andersonville ordered some KFC nuggets through GrubHub on Monday. Later that night, started feeling nauseous and has been sick and unable to keep anything down since then. Anyone in the area have any similar experiences? Trying to figure out if its food poisoning, or exactly what is going on...
My plans just fell through and I don’t have cable. Any recommendations to watch the superbowl? Ideally they’ll have sound on for the entirety (including commercials lol) but I’m open to any suggestions!
This study has been in the works for over a year, and hopefully changes could actually start happening soon.
