We are currently looking for participants (anyone over 18 years old) to complete an online research survey as part of a research project at Oregon State University. This survey will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Participants will view images of cats in different settings and respond to questions related to the cat’s perceived status, the cat’s emotional state and their own emotional response to viewing each image. Participants will also be asked their opinions about the emotional capabilities of cats, as well as how they feel about cats having access to outdoor spaces.Anyone over the age of 18 years old is invited to participate. The survey link can be found here: https://beav.es/TZu/
Thank you!
I’m redecorating my flat, so I’m looking for inspiration. Regular subreddits with great design ideas don’t have many examples with cat furniture, so I’m trying to find both style and cat things. Any idea?
Can you tell it’s my first time posting? AAANYWAY. I’m moving. I have two 7 year old big girls aka “The Ditch Sisters”. I am at a loss of where to keep their litter boxes. Their isn’t space near the toilet. There’s very little tile, and mostly carpet. They’re a little chubby; we’re working on it; so having to jump might be a challenge right now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks 😊
Cat experts of reddit! I need you expertiese. As the title says, there is a sweet cat, who is currently living mostly outdoors. She can go in and out whenever she likes. There is a possibility for us, to take her in. My wife is really confident and want her at all costs. But i have serious doubts. The cat we are talking about is currently living freely, and can go whenever and however she likes. Inside a huge as as well as outside. Plus they doesnt really care about her. They just give her food and water and some occasional petting, sometimes and thats it. Compared to this our home is a relatively small flat on the 5th floor, where we live with our 3 year old son. I dont know how the cat would react, and if its possible to move a cat from outdoor to indoor.
Every help is appreciated. Have a nice day!
Hi everyone. I volunteer with Crazy Cat Lady Rescues (we also rescue dogs) and I recently posted here about the launch of our website.
I am reaching out again to say that we urgently need donations. These times with the pandemic are very tough, and we are barely hanging on. We have been out of food for the strays for a very long time. The indoor cats will be out of food shortly, and have already used up their medication.
The animals need all of our help, and we can’t do this alone much longer. Please share or donate if you can. Follow the link below to visit our website and to see all of the ways you can help us help the animals <3

Hi everyone! I volunteer with a non-profit in Morocco that provides medical treatment, spay & neuter, food, shelter, and re-homing for the city's stray cats and dogs. Our efforts have been displayed on Facebook for years, but all summer long (and now well into fall) we worked hard on creating a website to help get the word of our cause of there. Now, you can finally learn the stories and the personalities of a lot of the individual animals we care for!
Our hope is that this website will encourage more international adoptions. Additionally, we hope that the website will also encourage more donations (we, like most of the world, have been seriously struggling to stay afloat during the pandemic).
It would mean the world to me and the animals if you would check it out. Any feedback is appreciated :)
My cat has a flea allergy and the vet recommended giving benadryl, but the cat doesn't really care for snacks. So no pill pockets, not cheese wrap, not hidden in tuna.
And I can just blindsided him and shove it down his throat, but then he hates me and doesn't want to cuddle me anymore. After 2 times of just giving the pill he would gag and run away when I approached him.
I just want my baby to be better.
