Does anyone know what is this? It is on Discogs. Where can I watch it?
Does anyone remember any of the following mail order catalogs from the 1980's? Looking for scans of any issues.
About every other month or so i like to remind you guys about my website where i am endeavoring to create an all-encompassing list of power ballads by hair metal / hard rock / AOR artists. My latest update is links to YouTube videos of the songs (when available).
If you have a favorite act who has some great ballads, check out my list and see if i have all of them listed. Do you know some obscure/unknown/unsigned bands that put out that little-known ballad that you love? Even better! Make sure i add that one too. I even try to collect info on those obscure, unsigned bands.
So, last time you guys had me working for weeks to listen to and add about 25 new ballads. Thanks so much!!!
So please check out thepowerballadz.com if you're into this sort of thing.
What makes a power ballad? Here's my criteria.
Oh, and this is totally a passion project, i make no money from creating this website.
I am looking for a tune from 83 or 84, it opened with a backwards verse that was played forward later on the song, something like "never gonna fade away" or "never wanna let you go...". Got a little AOR airplay in Phila... don't even remember as a good song, but it's been driving me nuts trying to ID it.
Thanks.
This girl looks like she’s 12 - but she’s a wiz on the guitar playing pieces by Satriani, Vai, Hendrix, Van Halen… to name a few. Has anyone heard of her before?
Hello!
There's a community known as r/NowIKnowItsJustAGame searching for an unknown AOR song presumably from the late-80s. Here's the snippet of the song that the community has: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9Tf2uv6WOg
If you know the name of this song, please let me or the community know!
Thanks!
P.S. Shazam and Google turn up nothing.
I love, love, loved this obscure band!! The man’s voice is ethereal. Anyone else here familiar with them? I discovered them on Headbanger’s Ball.
MAJORLY underrated
I’m looking for a rock video from the late 80s that features a girl dancing on a train. Does that ring any bells for anyone here?
Thank you in advance! 🙏 I’m new to Reddit, so I have no idea what kind of karma I have. 🤷♀️
