To all my real Ren and Stimpy Fans! Ren and Stimpy is a cartoon that can't be duplicated! John Kricfalusi pushed the boundries on so many levels with this 90's classic, if you know you know! https://youtu.be/P8pdefDoi-o
Those classic 90s cartoons we all loved and will stick in our memories forever, check it out and let me know what you think! 90s BEST Nostalgic Cartoons!
This cartoon was a favourite growing up.
Yes, educational, but it was very fun, and who can forget Miss Frizzle? Her over the top fashion sense, and very insightful nature.
And all the personalities of the kids. Very lighthearted, and easygoing. (And I remember there was a time there were no commercials while it played.)
And the catchphrases... "According to my Research..." "Please let this be a normal field trip"... "At my last school..."
And then you had Carlos. Him and his puns.
This was a really fun cartoon that really brought the video game character to life.
Throw in some 90s cheese and some good mystery and action, and you've got some superhero fun.
Rush was funny, and I really liked Roll. (The one origin story episode line... "Let go of Rock and Roll!" Hilarious!)
And of course Megaman was really cool, and one can't deny Protoman's character.
Did you also know that the VA that did Dr.Wily, it was his first role? That was the best version of Dr. Wily. Cracked me up.
The one thing that annoyed me? It played at 7:30 AM, and I couldn't leave my bedroom before 8 AM. So it was up to my older brother to record it secretly. Eventually my Mom found out, agreed to the recording, but wanted my brother to return to his bedroom afterwards.
As predicted, he didn't. But very entertaining show.
Watching this, in many ways I preferred it over Looney Toons when I was a kid.
Seeing the kids of the OG characters doing their own goofy things was a treat, and was always worth a laugh.
Except when Elmira joined Pinky and the Brain. That destroyed both for me.
This was a cartoon I really enjoyed. Quite funny, considering everything.
Many groan at this cartoon, but it was a very fun premise, especially considering the hype of the Mummy movie.
It had a Gargoyles feel IMO, but a lot more lighthearted, like they tossed in some Ninja Turtles with it.
I've had moments when I wanted to watch it, but it's impossible to find somewhere to watch, or buy it.
This cartoon I was obsessed with.
Seeing Darkwing Duck, a Batman parody with all the villains, which seem to take inspiration from one villain or another from the Batman mythos, was a stroke of genius.
Going back, I see the interesting family dynamic, and Drake trying to juggle his love of superheroics (And his vanity) and being a single father was a very good approach to a children's cartoon.
I guess that's something I enjoyed from the Disney Afternoon. there was a wholesome approach to things, and it's always good to go back and enjoy such a series.
There was an online/computer cartoon in the 90s. Independent it had a super hero and a bad guy. I can see it but can’t remember. Totally worthless clue but had to give it a shoot. Came out 96 or so.
Possibly 80s, possibly 90s so I thought I'd give this a shot. I only remember 2 scenes.
In one there are several mice playing frisbee with a bottle cap. After it's thrown it goes out of sight down a hill. I think whoever had to retrieve it goes missing.
In another scene there is a mouse caught in a metal box like trap.
