1920s, Twenties, Roaring Twenties, Flappers

"The new generation is dedicated more than the last to the fear of poverty and the worship of success; grown up to find all Gods dead, all wars fought, all faiths in man shaken.” F. Scott Fitzgerald, 1920.

You like the 1920s? This is the place. Roaring Twenties, Golden Twenties, the first modern decade. Flappers, silent stars, the first fast cars, bootleg booze, and so much more.

Content from or relating to within a few years of either side of the 1920s is fine too.

I'm from the 1920s and nobody can even imagine the fun we use to have and what a splendid time it was, the fashion, the culture, the people, the movies it was jolly nice

Going to the clubs with the music the music was the very best back then, we use to get shamed for going to the clubs, the cars, people were more polite, classy, well, mannered, spoke better, radio shows were actually funny, the talkies and the silent films were entertaining, the fashion was superb, we use to write love letters to our girl friends poetically and sometimes we would get shamed that we were not courting the ones that were not in the city with all the shebang. It was a swell time, the building and cities were very nice too. We use to make a lot of whoopee back then. There was challenges back then to it wasn't perfect but we were able to make the best of it back then. And going to the town hall and town fair was quit fun as well - you use to be able to meat a lot of folks there. And the economy was good in the 1920s before the 1930s came along. The cars were nice back then to. Things now days are quit outlandish and strange.

Anybody know where I can find a period appropriate trench coat?

I’ve been looking for a proper trench coat for near six months now and I haven’t found one. I’ve been on Etsy, eBay, forums, fashion retailers websites but I, for the life of me, can not find a proper one! Their all either too short, made of 65% Polyester, or are missing key details.

Do any of you know where I can find a proper one? It’s actually driving me insane!

Thanks in advance
